I have used this app for almost a year, it started out fantastic.... but as time has went on it has gotten worse and worse. The balances show incorrect amounts on the dashboard, the whole app lags to the point that you can no longer transfer between the accounts or even load from linked back account. I have uninstalled and reinstalled without success, every update just seems to make more issues. Currently, would not recommend

The low score is for the notifications on the app. It seizes up my phone when the push notifications asking if my kids have finished their chores appears. I cannot access my phone and takes several tries to get into my homescreen. I've deleted and re-downloaded the app, it still happens. There is no way to turn off the notifications for this particular alert. I do like the rest of the service.

Beware. Concept is great but app is not safe. For the last months, each time I refilled my wallet I got the error "impossible to contact greenlight, try again later". I learned via support that my bank account was mysteriously disconnected. Which was false because I was charged $100 today! I'm glad I didn't try again or I would have been charged twice! Like last time; I wasn't really sure why. Your bank info and money isn't safe with them. Switching to another app if not fixed soon. I'm fed up.

Hey. This app is great. I now have a debit card that I can use digitally for doing my weekly chores. This is overall a great thing, but in here to rate the app. Now the app itself works perfectly, but for a very weird reason, when about 30 minutes pass by, it acts as if I never signed in and I have to keep doing it repeatedly. It shouldn't be too much of a struggle to do things like signing in. But thats just the app, I've experienced no other problems at all. Please fix this as soon as you can.

I love the concept of this app/card. However, I keep running into issues of transfering money into my wallet and get an error message that it's having trouble connecting to my bank. And yes, I have signed out and back in, I have also uninstalled and reinstalled, and I have used the wifi on and off. If it wasn't for this main reason, I would haven given more stars.

This new upgrade doesnt let me press any buttons!!! So frustrating! I even uninstalled and reinstalled and now I can't even get into the account. It's like the buttons arent even functional. Please help! Update: GL was quick to help with this challenge. As an Android user, sometimes the UI causes hiccups on some of these apps. Great app for sure. Been with them for a few years. Good customer service! Thank you for all your help corporate!

So far the app is able to do all the Basic things that I need it to... but for $10, I can get a reloadable card and just use that instead. The thing that bothers me the Most is How they have made Both getting your $ out And canceling Super inconvenient, PURPOSELY. In fact- the ONLY thing that would make it more difficult to cancel is if they were only open from 2:22 am to 4:44 am and that's the only time you're able to get help. 😆 I am looking for other options. It's Not worth feeling taken adv

I've had this app for a while now and love it. The cards are so great. But since the new update there have been so many issues with the balance not updating and the app itself getting stuck on the loading screen. If that gets fixed I will rate again and make it 5 stars because I love the cards but not being able to open the app is getting old. Please fix the new bugs!

At first I was very unhappy with the app on my android (Samsung S7) it loaded slow and ran slow. However! I registered my complaint and the next thing I know I'm talking to some of their folks and damned if they didn't trace my problem, find the cause, and release an update to the play store that fixed my problem, all withing 48 hours! Very impressed with their ability to figure it out and correct it. App runs great now and so far I'm pleased with how the whole system works. This was the first time I've ever encountered a software issue that was actually acknowledged and fixed by a company.

10/15/2922 - App kept crashing today, it wouldn't even open. I had to delete the app, completely turn off the phone for 30 seconds, power it back on, and then reinstall the app. The Devs were very helpful, I was impressed! It's odd that it happened tho. My phone actually indicated that there was a bug in the app. Now that it's working again it's a great app, intuitive and easy to move money at a moment's notice. 👍

Looks good so far... very frustrated that the pic for the custom image won't load though. I've tried multiple images, uninstalling and reinstalling the app, and rebooting my phone. Clicking Next does nothing, it just stays on the same page. I just got a fast response. : check to make sure that the photo is sized just outside of the blue box's edges,so you may have to "zoom in" on the picture just a little bit more. Once this is done, you should be able to hit that "Next" button to continue.

Really like the app. Very useful tool for helping the kiddos manage their money. Have run into login issues a time or two but customer service was great in responding in a timely manner and getting me back on track. Having the option to access the account via internet would be great. Also, what's the point of having the option to add notes when you move money around if you can't see the notes in the transaction history? Some show (move $ in) /some don't (move $ out).

Overall it's a good application. However, there are some frustrating quirks. Tapping an alert opens the app but doesn't take you to the appropriate place. Adding extra money beyond the allowance is not intuitive. The first set of cards they sent us never arrived, so we had to get a second set. Great potential but requires a few workarounds to get stuff done.

The card is great. I love that you can round up the charge and put that into a savings. It is accepted most places but not everywhere. Unfortunately the app is terrible. It freezes up. When clicking on seeing all charges/history it just shows a blank screen and freezes. It doesn't always show all charges either. This hinders the ability to keep track of ones charges. Hopefully the app will improve. It's pointless to have a card if you can't manage the account properly.

Decent execution but the screens are absolutely littered with requests to upsell/increase use of Greenlight functionality. For example, investment and savings features are promoted at the top. We are only interested in spending controls, history, chores, etc. and there's no way to hide all the noise. Purchase history is all the way at the bottom of the screen! Spending controls haven't been that useful either as you can't manually designate stores under topics, you have to rely on Greenlight.

Love the card and how me and my kid are able to manage his money. I DON'T LIKE THE APP. It seems like whenever I have to do something important, it's on it's weird mode. Neither crashing, nor loading. Just gives me a blank screen and gets stuck on that. Another annoying thing is it constantly logs me out somehow even though I had it set to no PW when getting on the app. It also doesn't show, or update the pictures you set for the kids accounts. One works while the other doesn't. 🤷♀️🤦♀️

I really like Greenlight! I got a card for my 11 year old son. It makes sending allowance and pocket or emergency money so easy. If he's away from me and needs money, it's an immediate transfer. He has enjoyed being able to manage his own money between spending and saving and setting savings goals for things he wants to buy. The only issue I have had was immediately resolved. The first card shipped never made it, but Greenlight got a replacement to us very quickly. I'm very happy so far.

Currently in free trial mode- have family who use the debit card part and know that works. Only complaint is about chores setup. I wish you could set up a chore to be done 3x/week, but any time during the week. I also wish the jobs could be repeated so they have the ability to go above and beyond throughout the week on things not required, but I wouldn't have to reset that list. Overall easy to use and will be worth it for the debit card

Overall, this app is great. The basic plan is very affordable and lets me manage allowance and chores for my 3 kids. My teens love having access to their own money. One thing I wish this app had was the ability to personalize the notifications. Chore reminders are auto pushed around 7:30am, which is when kids are headed to school. I wish I could change the time of the notification (3:30pm?) so the kids can see it and have the ability to do the chore right away. 5 stars if this feature is added.

The App is really good, and my daughter loves the ability to control her cash. I only complaint is when we purchased the subscription, the constant updating of letting me know my drive is covered. I do not need to know this every 35sec. I have gotten 18 notifications for this in a 26mi trip. This causes me to turn off my notifications, then miss important calls/txts. Please repair this. outside of that, its a great service.
