Easy to use however the fact you cannot add things to your drinks (Shandy's, lime or wine spritzers) makes it basically pointless

I have downloaded and only get the screen for searching for pubs nothing else I believed you could order from the table, save points, view menus and so much more. V disappointed

Stay away from the app! My order for £42.91 was not accepted as one of the items was out of stock, yet was charged for the whole order. Received nothing from it. Very bad experience.

the app is useful especially as regular customers, as I only have to input my thumbprint to re-use my card per purchase. Our waitress Angie at the Hunter's Moon, Hodgehill is always smiling and excellent, she has never gotten my drink/food order wrong at any point. She's a credit to the team.

Using the app was very easy. Getting everyone to shut up for 30 seconds to order was a different story. Could do with an option to add a note for special requirements etc

Can't edit food orders. Very easy to process orders and navigate to payment. But if you don't want cheese on something, there is no option to add a not to say so. So I had to go to the bar to order which makes the app pointless.

New version of the app is garbage. Login flow doesn't work on android because if you minimise the app to open your mail, when you come back, the browser windows has closed any you have to start again Also it says one of my cards on Google pay isn't usable even though I've used it multiple times here before on the old app

Update a few months later: New app out and still no way to customise orders. Pretty much all other restaurants allow it now. Would be good to have a comments box for the order so don't have to go to the bar. E.g "plain burger" or "no salad please". Would save food waste. Not a difficult thing to add to the app.

Works fine, but it's a good job you can checkout as a guest, because trying to sign up says my phone number is already registered. Which it isn't. Never registered before and had this number for 15+ years. No way of finding out how to sort it out, as no support is available or given. "Forgot password" is useless when I don't even know the email address it's supposed to be registered under......

Not everything needs an app. I went to order at the bar, due to allergy, staff insisted it was law to order on app. App offers nowhere to report my allergies to kitchen, only to filter the menu. This increased the risk of cross contamination, and was inconvenient. The tables had no numbers, but the app wouldn't progress without one (had to ask staff for help). Then in the checkout it announced I was offline, despite having been arguing with it for 5+ minutes. Not everything needs an app.

I have been using the old app for years. Easy to use and never failed. The update has made it harder to use. The menu is harder to follow wish you would go back to the old app

The app works OK. The problem is with the payment. I had an oder refunded a month ago and still have not got the money back. The app just charged me 3 times for an oder when the paypal payment failed

Terrible app, just gone to order a rump steak for my husband, had to order at the bar instead as it insisted he had to have a gluten allergy to be able to order it. Can somebody seriously learn how to create an app that allows you to pick all the options AND doesn't force you to select options that are not applicable. This is the 3rd time we've tried to order from the app and discovered a different problem every time stopping us from doing the order that way.

On the old green king app you could add a payment method to your account. Since the app was updated recently & reinstalled the new app has no option to add a payment method to your account. So everytime you order you have to keep entering your card details. This needs addressing ASAP.

The app used to be areas to use with a pleasant user interface. It now looks like an early 2000s web page. The UI is clunky and confusing when 1st using the app, and it doesn't get much easier if not a very frequent user.

This app itself works well but it's often let down at the bar end I find. Despite the chain's high prices, sometimes there just aren't enough staff serving, and then depending on the establishment, orders via the app can get shoved well down the priority list! In this situation I've then got to head inside anyway to chase, thus rendering the app redundant!

The buttons are too small at the top so you often accidentally press to bring up the arrow. There's a lack of customisation, so you can't swap chips for a jacket potato for example. I had to go to the counter for that and for upgrading a burger to double. Why is it put into your face to pay with the app, if you can't do what is basic?

It's amatuer hour. As if having to create a separate account to use this version of the app wasn't bad enough, the app can't handle losing focus while you check the email for the verification code. Consequently you can't verify the new account unless you have a second device with which to check your emails. Amateurish sloppy programming.
