Does Many things right and many things wrong. I like: Not impossible to get SR champs, and they are good! The story is fun and the comic drawings are great! No stamina, so you can play all day Strategic Combat I don't like: Instead of making the champs hard to get, Gold and Equipment (worth a darn) are hard to get. It also makes taking off equipment for better gear VERY hard to take off; need Honor from PVP as in days of it. Hundreds of millions of gold to upgrade everything. GRIND PRICES

One of the best monster collecting, action RPG's out there. First impression is awesome. Cool characters. Awesome art design. I can't comment on the story as I tend to skip it. If I had any complaint it would be that character development although quite varied is still pretty one dimensional. Any character will be identical to someone else's at the same power level. That said still a lot of fun.

0verall I really do like the game itself. It has given alot of freebies to help me as a new player catch up. I like the idea of growing my characters and seeing them get stronger. The whole experience feels very rewarding. The art is also very cute. However there's one problem that I keep encountering. Sometimes the game will just freeze for several minutes. During this time I can't turn off my phone, close the game or do anything then the game will close itself. Pls fix this

I played the first release of the game a couple years ago i liked it then and the changes are definitely noticeable. I love it now its an all around awesome game. Great graphics, well thought out story, great characters. And from what I've seen the in game purchases are fairly priced. I do wish some of the bigger. Weekly/monthly packages could have special limited deals to be grabbed for cheap. I normally can only afford the smaller ones.

I had a strange issue with my network being unable to resolve the patch. I downloaded it on another network. The game is good, it feels very streamlined and I like that some of the character designs are attractive males. However, the lack of xp and optimizing equipment farming actually seems to make the game a little empty. I have beaten the first difficulty level and now am tasked with the next as a repeat.

This is how you make a mobile game. No stamina system to prevent long-term play, easy re-rolling for people who want to have the best units. Good art, fully voice-acted characters. Decent storytelling the first time through. The raids are where the real fun and challenges are. Yes, the game has an auto play feature but auto won't carry you to every goal needed to progress thoroughly. I have experienced maybe one issue total on my s9+ where the game didn't fully load a dimensional boss but a quick app restart fixed it. I rate this game a Pogchamp/10

An update to this is long overdue. There have been, I think, two "grand changes" to the game since I wrote this review. The most recent one that got rid of shinies and allowed parallel progression has made everything smooth. Starting a new account, I've been able to fully max one character and be almost done with a second (halfway with two more) in a little over 2 weeks. It slows down after the new player freebies, but you have a good foothold by that time. Great changes!

Came back after a year of not playing, and damn everything still feels great, even without a year of progress I managed to increase my power a lot in just a week, the game is very generous with the rewards, and the story is good and sometimes funny, the only issue i found was that some skills wouldn't be activated in auto mode, leaving some heroes unprotected, but the rest remains as great as it was when I tried this game on its release, make sure to not miss events everyone, they help a lot.

It's smooth, full of charm, and great for pickup-play-putdown sessions. No, it's not the PC version. But adapting to a mobile game format isn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be. I love the Grand Chase characters and story, and the fact that the original developers wanted to continue it is more than enough for me to jump in.

I'm enjoying this game so far and am fond of the art style. At first it reminded me of Disgaea so I was hoping the gameplay would be like it, but sadly it doesn't seem to be. It's decent the way it is now gameplay wise. Right now I just wished the movement controls were different. Dragging to move the characters is incredibly difficult and often times unresponsive. Other times they refuse to move in the direction you're dragging them in. Would be much more controllable with a dpad onscreen or hell, even dragalia lost's movement controls would work better than this. I found myself incredibly frustrated today because the characters refused to move multiple times when I tried to drag them.

I'm enjoying GrandCHase very much at the time. GC has good graphics, descent gameplay, plenty of awards and achievements rewards. However, I believe more character animation would be nice during battle. The drop rate for equipment and accessories needs improvement as well. And the biggest problem of the game is punishing players for upgranding characters and equipment with a gamble success, failure and decrease system. Definitely a reason to uninstall in the future if not change.

The ONLY downside to this game I've seen so far, is... upgrades (for characters/items) are not guaranteed. Meaning, when you click upgrade, and you use the materials for it, it MIGHT upgrade, it might DOWNGRADE!... and it might do nothing. Some weirdo might think this is a nice new type of challenge. But, me, personally, I think if I use my resources for something, that's what I should get. Upgrading should not be a game of roulette.

Excellent for fans of the old series! Although I do wish there had been an option to select one of the old characters right off the bat, it is a great game nonetheless. No obnoxious ads to interrupt gameplay and no pressure to spend on the gacha drops, as there are plenty of opportunities to get characters as you progress. Excellent design and addictive gameplay.

The gameplay is fun the first 20 times you play, then you realize that the combat screen is way too chaotic and boring. The UI is a giant mess and cluttered that you can miss things very easily. It's also very confusing and easy to lose your way. It's a point and cast combat where colors change, but you don't know who you're hitting because there is just too much going on. The whole game needs polish from a UI and aesthetic aspect.

Overall it feels incredible. The gameplay is smooth, polished, and well put together with depth but clarity in function and purpose. The graphics are bubbly and nicely done. They aren't overbearing and distracting but not dull or too serious. The controls are a little odd, but definitely workable. I wouldn't recommend it as a casual game for someone looking to play a few minutes and hop off, but a more hardy or grindy player would have a much better time exploring and enteracting with the world. Again, it feels incredible to play and I plan on sticking with it for quite a while and I highly recommend it to those looking for something to sink some time into.

As a gacha game, this one is actually a little respectful to the player. It centers around its heroes and actively wants you to have more of them. As for gameplay, it's more of an idle game than what it's trying to be because fights can get so hectic and busy that managing it becomes impossible. I wish pause didn't cover the screen so I could give clear orders to my party during difficult fights. Apart from that, it's actually really really good. It's more than fair and definitely worth trying.

I've played a lot of games like this, including FE Heroes, which is generally my favourite and what I compare others to. This is the only one that's gotten me as hooked as that one, and it doesn't even have the nostalgia, so them being comparable to me says a lot. The tutorial is very good, it makes learning everything a lot easier for my ADHD a**. The story is fun and easy to follow and the upgrades and everything is just enough to not be oberhwleming or unattainable. Ive really been enjoying.

fun game. lots of characters to collect and a good storyline. the artwork is awesome. the only downsides are that you basically have to use mobile data to play. anytime i tried wifi it wouldn't always work. the loading screen wouldn't work on wifi. i also don't like how many different buttons you have to tap to do stuff on the main screen. it's like i spend more than half my time tapping buttons to collect stuff than actually playing.

Lack of events. Inequality between servers. Cosmetics overpriced. The game becomes less free to play friendly and more grindy with every update. Impossible for new players to ever catch up due to the monstrous grind. Repetitive content feels like a chore. Regular freezes and crashes around certain content that has persisted for over a year. Typical gotcha, new meta invalidates past investment and punishes attachment to characters. Ok story and great art imo, can be challenging.

A super fun game! It has a lot of different battle modes so you dont get bored of it easily. You actually get decent shots at getting higher rank characters through events and story mode. only reason I cant give 5 stars right now, because ever since the last update my game has been freezing and crashing a lot. And when you are doing dimensional boss or wizards labryinth where the turns you get are limited, you can get cheated out of a turn to do damage because of the crash and its annoying.
