The speed boat challenge is literally impossible. For whatever reason, the boat speeds have been dramatically reduced. No matter if you have a perfect run through, you're always about 7-10 seconds too slow. I cannot progress any further till this bug is fixed. The ga.e also crashes on me all the time even with the settings turned down. GS23 Ultra

This game would be amazing, everything I ever dreamed of, if it didnt just randomly decide to shut down all the time. Mid-mission and everything the game will just shut itself off. It's extremely frustrating. I just collected 5 out of the 6 cars I needed for a mission and the game, yet again, shut itself off and I had to load back to square one. It's a damn shame.

Played for an hour found way to many glitches in this Android version compared to the actual PlayStation version, it's not very playable! Getting into cars is almost impossible at times, walls completely glitch out and are see through. When fighting the NPCs half the time you can't even hit them, he just glitches out and either freezes or slowly walks when attacking 😂. 1 star for me! Sorry! Fix the glitches then I'll change my review. 👍

The draw distance for vehicles is crazy low even on max. And they look like blocks until closer up regardless of resolution or detail setting. Playing on an s8 which is by no means new but more than capable of playing this game on higher settings without breaking a sweat. App needs some updating for sure. San Andreas has a similar problem but not as bad. 3 seems to run the best.

This game needs a update for graphics but a few bugs show up from time to time especially when I'm playing the radio alot! I jump in and out of the car and whatever radio station I leave it on it won't be on when I get back in the car. Only way it comes back on is if I pause the whole game and resume, that's the only way the radio works. The guns glitch when shooting. It freezes from time to time but I still love the game just wish the bugs were more fixed out!

Just like i remember. A few changes like i couldnt get the fire truck before the islands open up. But everything else so far seems amazing all the challenges are there, infinite sprint, extra health, extra armor for doing the vigilante, ambulance and pizza missions. I played with xbox controller but it plays with ps2 controls. Love it. I believe you can change it though.

A truely incredible game unbelievably available on a phone now. From what I have experienced ,every aspect of the original product is present. The graphics are very good for being played on a phone with no noticeable lag or glitching. If someone would have told us 18 years ago as we hooked up our Playstation 2's that we would be playing the game on a cellphone now, our heads would have exoloded. Fantastic work!

Three negative things: 1. Vehicle steering is sluggish compared to 3 and San Andreas 2. Combat is not great, but doable. 3. The building in front of the Malibu club seems to be glitched as the front of it is clipped a little into the streets. Other than that I thought it was good. I had no crashes or performance issues like others have had so idk what theyre talking about. Cheats would have been nice but without them I feel like I can respect the game a little more and actually try to 100% it.

Vice city is my favorite in the franchise. But on Android, it's a bit buggy. Lots of the bugs can be fixed. Like with the speedboat mission. You need to turn your display settings from 120hz "adaptive" to 60hz "standard." This is true for any boat or sea plane mission. You won't get the top speeds necessary unless you do. Right now, however. My game won't load at all, with my phone saying, "The app has a bug," and I need to wait until the developer patches it in the next update.

The overall game is good. Just minor problems with the controls and theres a graphical downgrade for the textures in my game for some reason. Like text and wall textures are pixelated even with max graphics settings. I know it's not supposed to be like that because I've seen the comparison on youtube and their textures are fine. Please fix this, its annoying. I was hoping unistalling and reinstalling would solve the problem but it made worse by deleting all my progress.

The game can be choppy from time to time but that's to be expected from an old pc game. I find some issues with the animation such a the vehicles especially the bigger ones such as planes, tanks, and the apache helicopter. The controls are a bit bugged usually varies depending on what your doing. Despite these minor setback it's been years since I've played the original and I have to say they really did an amazing job porting the game it's almost exactly like the older version in every aspect.

Very smooth texturing and cut scenes!!! Much better that ps2 and xbox. Nevertheless, the controls on any handheld touchscreen device are particularly tedious, so it takes getting used to. That being said, drone, bike, and piloting missions can be difficult. SAVE YOUR GAME!!! every mission I mean that. Last you want is to play a hard mission and the game crashes or your phone dies and you have to play it again not remembering how you beat it. When in doubt, save save save.

It played ok on my LG z982 but now I've upgraded to the galaxy s10 and it plays almost exactly like the playstation version I remember. They had to cut out a bit of the story, but it is still great! Every now and then it will "force close" and go back to my home screen so I have to load it all over again. I have not figured out why. There are no other apps running at the time, and there is no way it could be a memory/RAM issue. I will go back to my 5-star rating whwn/if this stops happening!

Overall a good port of Vice City. If you don't like the mobile controls(which I didn't), you can hook up a controller and it will work. I used a ps4 controller with bluetooth and it worked great. A word of warning though. DONT TRY TO GO FOR 100%. The fire truck minigame is broken: hitting people with the water stream won't knock them down, making it impossible to finish, and thus impossible to 100% the game. It seems others are also having issues in other parts of the game. The bugs bring it down

Fantastic game!!! All the og stuff we love with a better aiming, camera, graphics, new settings in game like retaining weapons when dead or busted, enhanced graphics and car models, amazing control set up for touch screen adaption of the game. Anyone know how to deactivate a cheat from the cheat menu? Accidentally enabled invincibility and now can't seem to be to turn it off

Definitely some glitches, but loads of fun overall. Auto aim is overkill, but necessary without an external controller. Another glitch is the inability to take off with the seaplane during the movie studio mission. I beat the main story before I got airborne - not sure if that is related. But make a sharp right turn immediately and pull up (down on d pad) while accelerating. You won't go fast, but you do catch a wave just right and go.

The game is great from an artistic standpoint like the 80s aesthetics are well captured in this game and it's great! but when it comes down to gameplay it's the controls that ruined it for me. This game was specifically designed for the PS2 and Xbox controllers. When your driving it's really difficult and it's a real pain sometimes. It gets really annoying especially when you're on a timed missions. I'll give it 3 stars for just managing to get a port like this on mobile.

Okay I'm giving it 5 stars because it is as perfect of a mobile GTA VC game as you can get. Very nostalgic and the map is huge. When played with a controller it feels exactly the same as PlayStation. If I could change one thing it would be the button from vigilante missions. It's the steering button and too easy to click on and off. I'll be chasing a perp, turn and accidentally exit the mission. Other than that Great job devs!

Very fun interactive experience only for video game purposes. The Definitive Edition amongst first time playing this game is what really caught my eye. I must say the graphics and pull of the car is dragging, but the frame by frame is really grinding my gears like the wheels that don't have fly wheel. We need to have a modding spot for the car, so we can modify our "cars" for the better.

I own Vice City on the original Xbox. It still holds up and looks good with trails/filter turned off. I was curious and wanted to see the mobile port. And it's impressive. It looks so good, crisp, and clean. The textures seem to be nicely upscaled. I love the definitive edition, but the mobile port definitely gives me a rush of nostalgia every time. Plus, it's GTA on the go, anytime, anywhere. What's not to love?
