I gave it higher stars bc of Jordan's review that finally told me how to open the map when using a controller (B + down, or circle + down in his case). IK you can just click the map but I use Wireless Dex to cast to my TV so that isn't an option. I don't understand why they couldn't add controller instructions to the game, it's hard to figure things out on your own especially since the controls are different than in Vice City. Vice City is still the better game.

I love the game just as much as when i was 10. So far threw out the game on mobile, i have found it very difficult and frustrating as i can not complete "silence the sneak". Ive tried countless times to land the granade in the window, only for it to bounce out , or go completely off target. Suggestions on how to get a more accurate throw

I like it, as it reminds me of playing it when i was younger and more of my loved ones were alive. However, there are issues, like when the player gets stuck, or the game crashes. Also, u can't enter publicly-known cheat codes without some fishy 3rd party app. There's no way to beat the Turismo mission without tanks or an RPG launcher to destroy your opponents first. The hand grenades or shooting at them while you drive doesn't work.

The graphics are great. I just cannot control the vehicles. It's like they have a mind of there own and are hell bent on stopping me from advancing. Steering fails too much. Accelerator sticks. Target vehicles are not on the map, one can wander around aimlessly for hours trying to locate target vehicles. I will never be able to complete the cab, ambulance, and vigilante side missions. Heck, I doubt I will ever get past El Burro's race.

This game sometimes crashes on my Samsumg Galaxy J7 Prime - like when saving games, or leaving it paused for a long while. I also find the main menu a bit confusing to find but the rest is good. Also, there's no motorcycles, but they do have unique stunt jumps. I would also like to add that I have both Liberty City Stories and Vice City and GTA III is the game that functions the least. Not too bad though.

I think that the game is an awesome blast from the past. I connected the Stadia controller to the Pixel 5 using USB C cable and it worked to play the game, except for moving the camera while driving, but other than that, it works. Now, if only they would update the app to work flawlessly on the Nvidia Shield or Google TV, all would be right in the world.

this game runs really well and seems faithful to the original gta 3, Its perfect for playing on the go, since it saves where you are when you turn off your phone, so you turn it on, hit resume, and you're back in the action. The Lock-On Aiming is garbágo, but thats most likely cause its a PS2 game. the story is ight, not as good as the other but it does make connections to them. The Game is super hard though, takes a bit to understand. 5$ is like the price of a big mac, so overall worth the 5$

GTA3 is an absolute classic, and this game is mostly a 1:1 port of the original, Renderware and all. The main issue is the poorly implemented auto-aim. It targets friendlies, it targets innocent bystanders, so playing with a controller that could have had bindings for targeting and cycling targets is frustrating. I experienced some weird tree lighting flickering which was distracting. Regardless, the rest of the controls were fine and I had fun beating the game again.

Iconic PS2 game, now ported on to mobile. For those complaining about controls, game play, "blah blah, you get idea", takes a little getting used to. You can switch controls around and make it your own. I admit, it took some time adjusting and fine tuning the displays, but now controls are smooth. I was able to get 98% completion, Paramedic. Couple complaints, aiming is too slow. M4 when in 1st person, auto looks west no matter direction, please fix 'Sammy Starock'! Otherwise 5⭐ WHERE'S GTA 2!!

For mobile platform it's definitely a great game to have. The nostalgia is great with the upscaled graphics, it works well. i cant say i experienced any major glitches, but it did stop randomly onve or twice. Still, this is a good port considering everything works. The controls take time since its touch. However, with a Bluetooth controller everything is so smooth. would recommend to fans of the seris or even those who haven't had the chance to play the 1st 3-D Universe GTA.

This game is very fun to play, but there are some issues that stop me from rating it higher. The camera feels a bit too zoomed in, and really limits the field of view. The touch controls are a bit difficult to use and the lack of camera control makes this problem more apparent. The game itself is a great port of the original and the improved visuals are a great plus. The story is alright, a bit crude compared to later installments but still enjoyable.

Really one of the best mobile games. I bought this game to have something to do before class and it worked great. The game saves exactly where you where for easy pick up and play without needing to worry about time (except during missions if you close the app it starts you at the beginning which isnt too bad). I have played through the entire game twice (100% it the second time) and can say the controlls are as good as they could get on a phone. BTW it is easier than the steam version.

So Great! With a few minor glitches. Other than a few glitches due to it not originally being a mobile game, this is purely Amazing! I'm so glad because in many ways, this has better graphics than the original PS2 version (my favorite video game of all times). To my surprise, there's no loading between entering a new part of the city when crossing bridges etc.

So, I really like it so far. I very much plan on picking up the rest of these classics. The pricing isn't bad at all. Very smooth FPS. Control issues. Minor graphics bugs, like disappearing objects/buildings. The controls: I need to be able to change the area of screen my thumb can use for movement. It's too thin and I move the camera on accident instead. Also, need to assign functions to controller keys- I can't honk on my controller due to lack of L3 and R3. But up/down works great in L/VCS.

What a nostalgia fueled rollercoaster! Absolutely excellent port and worked perfectly fine on my Pixel 6 Pro. I've seen comments complaining about controls, either you need a new device with more screen real estate or maybe you aren't the programer you believe yourself to be. No issues with any missions. One small bug, lights and trees act odd when you're at the Airport (look to the right) and in Stanton Island coming towards the park. Other than that, exactly like 2001 all over again!

Really good, top quality game. The controls are easy. The lore is top notch. The map is large and nice. Nice for a road trip. One thing I do have to say is that the graphics are meh. I get that some phones cant run good graphics or that the game is oringinally like that (on the PS2), but there could be a option for realisic shaders. Overall, this game is nice though. Please add gta 4 for mobile.

Excellent port of the PS2 classic! Even with the settings maxed out it still runs smoother than butter. The touch controls take some getting used to; sure. I myself don't own a Bluetooth controller; so I cannot comment on that aspect. Although I can say that if you take the time, the touch controls will feel like second nature. Great job Rockstar!!

Some controls could be better sure, but I'm on the last island, halfway through those missions so if you are a had review because there is an "impossible" missing due to the controls, it's because of players inability to pass them. Great nostalgic game! Also, swimming and jumping out of cars wasn't in gta3, that didn't become a feature until later versions.

If you loved this game for the PS2 and PC, the android version won't disappoint. The controls take a few minutes to get used to, and sometimes they're downright frustrating. If you loved this game 20+ years ago, then you'll love it this time around. It's a trip down nostalgia lane (as long as you can get past the sometimes unresponsive controls), with hookers, crazy missions, and amazing radio stations. Definitely a 3 star port, and a must have for any GTA fan!

The game is great, and pretty cool that you can play on your phone now. But the app keeps crashing when I hit "resume" the app acts like it wants to restart, but ends up in a constant loop. Obviously there is a bug, and I'd rather not clear storage and restart the game over, that would be a pain, only to eventually end up at the same bug if not fixed.
