It's a fun fame for a while, but I have to agree It's rigged, and the bots aren't very well done. The game let's you win a lot for a few days, but then stacks the decks against you to force you to buy in game currency to keep playing. Before the devs come on and argue - I started keeping track for a minute when I noticed the pattern. I lost 28 out of 40 hands, but lost every game on points. When the bot wins, they knock on the 6th card, third card, then you win a hand, and they finish it on 4.

Having read several other reviews I no longer feel like the lone ranger. It seems almost all the reviews are concerned about cheating. I too have had little or no successes on this app. The graphics are well developed and comfortable however playing the game makes one feel as if the Feds are going to raid the speakeasy any minute. But before the raid all your chips are gone through random selection of cards. When computers (AI) are programed there is no random selection. Sure it's a busines

They obviously have no real world experience with their game. I've played around 100 hands, and aside from the tutorial, I've won precisely seven games. Does that sound like an even distribution? You will probably win a fair number of hands, but you opponent always seems to win with far more points, and thus win the game. But you can purchase more coins to keep playing!

It's fun and the interface is nice but a recent algorithm change picks the winner. There's not a lot of skill involved because you are either going to be the one that gets ALL of the good hands or your opponent will be. I play the 200 pt game and will either get beat every single hand or I will beat them every single hand. Not a lot of close games, which takes the fun out of it. Will be looking for a more realistic app.

Absolutely love this game but it's hard to play when it glitches so much. I've had winning cards played but the game will glitch and I'll lose my turn (lose my winning card). No it isn't my connection because I don't have problems with any of my other games. Would be better if they could give the free chest of coins sooner than 4 hours (that's the longest I've had to wait in any game). Other than these issues it's a pretty fun game when it works right.

Very standard & predictable approach. The game starts you out at the lowest tiered room. It gives you plenty of coins to play lots of games here, allowing you to win (build up the serotonin levels). During this time, it repeatedly asks you to rate the game because at this point, you'll give it 5 stars. THEN, once you move on to a more advanced room, it's lose, lose, lose! Prompting you to pay for more coins to recapture that buzz. Boring & typical.

Initially loved this app. The design is really appealing and I was immediately hooked. However, there are so many problems with it. Sometimes I experience a glitch in the game in which I knock but my opponent has no cards in their hand and I am penalized for an undercut. Sometimes this has happened when I have knocked with gin and I still lose the round. This makes no sense and seems to happen when I've bet most of my chips. I suspect the developers are trying to get users to buy more chips.

Prepare to be frustrated beyond belief, and even more if you can tolerate it. I won't spend anymore money on this. The cards are supposed to be randomized but I lose constantly. There's no way the person I am playing has perfect cards all the time and can knock so early in rounds 28, 29, 30. I rarely get good enough cards to be able to do that!! I don't even get a chance to play!! I lose 10-15 times in a row, not rounds, different people, it doesn't make sense! To lose so early every time.

If if you enjoy constantly losing you will really love this game! Recent changes have sucked what little bit of enjoyment there was pre-changes out of the game completely. This game takes far more from you than it ever gives back. And what's up with taking players trophies away? They won the trophies and should be able to keep them through the week without the game taking them back. Heads-up: If you would like to keep your trophies be prepared to shell out $20 + for "trophy protection" weekly.

Finally, a Gin Rummy game that surpasses the others. Update: Went from 5 stars to 3. Game chooses the melds and doesn't let the player to adjust the melds. Sometimes the game switches up melds resulting in reduced odds of winning, especially when the card needed has already been played. Update: and 1 star. Unloading. Can't stand not having control over your own melds.

This is the best live player v player gin rummy game out there in terms of design and concept. But its heavily pay to play because you need tokens to play and the dealing algorithm is so off that 80% of the time your opponent has a winning hand within 3 turns. So you lose all your tokens rapidly and the free ones you get every 4 hours is only worth 1 game. So you're forced to buy more and then lose them quick because of said algorithm. Edit: Point is others winning fast and draining tokens

Graphically, and 'story'-wise it's very well done. Impressive. As stated in other reviews the play algorithm is off, I'm assuming this is due to a lack of actual players and that I can tolerate. What I can't tolerate is the constant freezes during my turn which result in random discards, oddly I don't experience this when I'm losing and I've not seen this phenomenon with the other 'player' once. Happened today with a 90/0 skunk comin on. Not the first time but it will be the last.

UPDATE: I really wanted to like the new one but I just can't. Gameplay is drastically slower. It is so incredibly confusing with: trophies, gems, boosters, promotions / demotions...too much stuff which has nothing to do with Gin Rummy. Too convoluted and too confusing. I just want to play Gin Rummy guys. Currency transfer was decreased by 729%. You simply tinkered too much with a good thing. Version 1 overall is just more fun to play than version 2. Remove the fluff and version 2 will be great.

Far, far too many ads. If it's not an unskippable ad after one or two games, the in-app shop will be pushing something in your face. The chips system is very cheap. If you have a bad run and lose all your chips, you have to wait 4 hours for enough free chips to play one more round. Ouch! If I wanted to gamble pretend chips, I'd download a poker app. Credit where it's due - the design is gorgeous, and the general UX is excellent, but is outweighed by the heavy-handed freemium model.

This game is conflicting. The UI and experience are amazing. Card randomization is absolute trash. I play several rummy games and have never had so many losses in a row. I've also never seen so many games where my opponents knock in the first three rounds. After dozens of games, I've never been close to knocking before round 3. On any app. It seems like it constantly pushes you down so it pressures you to buy chips to be able to play.

Games start really fun and you actually win a few times. But the more you play the less you win. You lose all your coins attempting to force you to buy more to play, which I will refuse to be forced to do that. If the game was fair and you actually won a few occasionally, then I would probably purchase something. But after you start losing its constant losing and you cannot win no matter what because your cards that are computer generated, are never as good as the other player. Uninstalled.

**UPDATED REVIEW* This game used to be fun. It is rigged to keep you from winning so you'll purchase coins. Discarded cards reappear in the draw pile, and it is nearly impossible to level up anymore....been playing for months and haven't leveled up once! Graphics and colors are beautiful. Something has changed. Rarely win anymore. Hardly ever get promoted in the league because I keep losing all the time which lowers the free coins you get every 4 hours. Just not fun anymore. Will be deleting.

I really like this app, but there's one thing that bothers me, real bad. When playing, a hand of cards, after the hand is over, there's a point line that goes across, you get 1 point if you lose the hand and 2 points if you win. Until you reach a 100. Everytime it gets close, like the 80's or 90's it barely gives you anything for losing the hand and maybe one every2-3 hands you win. That's very wrong, considering how long it takes you to get to that 100. Especially how many hands you have to pla

A lot to love, but also some significant issues. Pros: - Graphics. Incredibly pleasing layout and animations. - Player pool. Most are competent, some are really good. - Usually can find an opponent right away. Cons: - Inability to block players who are really obnoxious. This is my biggest issue with the app. - Incentive structure. Yes, they want players to buy chips, but the app requires a win ratio of 66.6% just to break even. That's nearly impossible with the variance in this game.

I really loved this game, but once I got beyond level 10 I was dealt nothing but deadwood hand after hand while opponents knocked in 2 or three draws. I went from 800,000 coins to next to nothing--having to wait for the few free coins each day. It was not enough to play long enough to advance in rank so I have never been able to a point where I can afford to lose more than 2 rounds before running out of coins to buy in. There is no "watch an ad" for extra coins, so I'm just giving up. Too $$$
