I payed FULL PRICE for my NVidia Shield, and have ZERO TOLERANCE for ANY kind of ADS on a premium for device like this.

INSTALLED IT BUT DID NOT FIND IT ON MY SONY ANDROID 11 VU1 SCREEN.SINCE I UPDATED MY SONY TV SOFTWARE, NOTHING WORKS RIGHT.GUESS THAT IS WHAT I ASKED FOR BY UPDATING THE GOOGLE AND TV SOFTWARE AT THE SAME TIME.MY TV LOOKS TERRIBLE W/O THOSE LOVELY APPS I HAD.

Overrides any preferences on NVidia Shield TV and loads ads on home screen. Disabling updates and removal is the only solution so far.

Since the last update the voice command on Google Home Speaker to play youtube on android TV (Sony Bravia) returns an error. This feature used to work before that.

Latest update (2021) ruined my ShieldTV by shoving ads at me for services that I don't even have installed. I'd moved from a FireTV to the Shield precisely to avoid this but that didn't work out.

Took a perfectly reasonable app and used it as yet another vector to push ads in my face on a device I paid a fair amount of money for. Stop this behavior and fix your overstep, or lose many, many customers.

Very, very disappointed! It is listed as already installed on my Xiaomi Mi TV P1 (55 inches, Android 10), but there is not any option to launch it. I wrote an E-mail to Xiaomi and still waiting for their answer.

Used to work well until update. I used to get relevant, useful search results, it was amazing. After updating I have yet to get more than a couple useful results. Please stop using this search app to push Google owned sources, (YouTube, etc.).

I bought my Shield and Google TV to be able to stream the services I opt into. I didn't buy it to splash advertising on my TVs. Nor did I buy it to be reminded of which holidays and "months" Google decides I should know about. I own a calendar.

In there greed to force as manty ads on us as possible I will be using a different launcher so I never see their ads again. If they had of kept them small and not using to top quarter of my screen I would probably would of been ok with them. YOUR LOSS!

Auto download is disabled on my TV except for software updates. I will not install a streaming App update that I don't pay for to watch. The only App updates I'll install are the system & Google updates that keep my TV running great & this isn't one of them. It offers many movies on Apps that I wouldn't install on my TV. I disabled Google Assistant as I don't want to be spied on. I am intelligent enough & can navigate my TV to find my own answers w/o asking Google's Mata Hari's idiot box.

After the last update, Google Assistant completely stopped working on both of my TVs and permanently says Google Assistant is unavailable. TVs are Skyworth 55SUC9300 and Skyworth 65SUC9300 Please can this be rectified as these are the newest models available so it makes no sense that an update breaks functionality.

Seems to be installed on my new Shield TV, but doesn't appear to actually do anything (doesn't even show in my apps & doesn't start from Google Assistant). Been searching for a web browser I can use on it for hours (first attempt was Firefox, but can't find that in the Google Play apps on the device), assumed this would be a web browser, but doesn't seem to open as a stand alone app, so giving a minimal rating until I see that the app actually has some use...

After last update my android TV's assistant stopped working normally with languages other than English. When I asked "what the weather is", instead of showing the weather, the assistant suggests watching a video from YouTube over the past year about the weather.(( and e.t.c. I had to roll back to the previous version there everything works as before ok.
