Very interesting App, except that when one forgets the exact password used to open the app account, it creates multiple Golf gamebook Accounts for the same person. It becomes very difficult to delete the forgotten password gamebook account. One is then left with the option of creating a new Golf gamebook account with different email addresses, instead of editing the first/original Golf gamebook account.

Keeps throwing me out of the game constantly and doesn't allow me to return to the game. After I've restarted the game a couple of time it doesn't allow me to and the game... Then after a couple restarts it has forgotten half of the holes. "Official app for golf in Finland" glad it works...

Decent app for basic score keeping and putt tracking but nothing special that's worth paying for, the fact you now need to pay for the basic statistics is just greedy especially since there is no noticeable changes. If i have to pay, I'll go find a better one to use as the only advantage this app had was free with ads.

My society of 50(ish) players started using this app after the Covid lockdown so we didn't have to handle scorecards but it's now invaluable with all the features, particularly the in-round leaderboard, which has created some extra interest during play. My only criticism is that you need just one player in each group to enter the scores for all otherwise it jumps about and you find yourself scoring the wrong hole. Players then need to go back into the app on their own device and add their stats.

Ive been using the app for 3 years nowand I upgraded to be a Gold Member. I was introduced to the app on a golf trip (8 of us) and one of the guys asked us all to join (free version) and he set up the games, 2 x 4 balls but with a overall leaderboard over 3 days of golf was brilliant especially on the last day keeping an eye on what you needed to do to win. I have now gained a lot of knowledge on my game tracking my stats, fairways/greens hit in regulation, putts, chips etc highly recommended

The features on the computer seem nice but I cant get them to come through on the mobile app well. for example I set up a foursome for match play and it would only let me input the team score and not the individual scores. On the mobile app it seems like you can only track scores and not matches. I have only tried setting up matches twice. Will give it one more before moving in to try another app.

Play with a group of 28 every year for the last 22 years. The new Ryder Cup Game option is excellent and is much easier than having to create 3 separate rounds. Being able to track the overall score is excellent. As an improvement it would be nice once all the rounds have completed to have something go out to the all players in your player pool saying what the final score was and maybe some stats of the tournament i.e most points, stableford etc. At the moment it just ends with no fanfare!

Why did I sign up for my free 14 day trial and get charged a years amount immediately.. that isn't a free trial. Has left a sour taste in my mouth and no where on the app is there any information about cancelling subscription. App featurs look good, although course layout isn't as suggested in pics in app. Please advise how to cancel subscription and receive my full payment back, having used the app today its just not convenient enough to use consistently for me.

In this app it is simple to set up games, has different formats of the game, easy to score, gives live leaderboard and one can predict how the game will end. It is an app by golfers for golfers. Very happy with it. The challenge is having to redo the handicaps and not all names in the golf system coming up when setting up games.

The app functions very well, good being able to register statistics of each round. The downside is it not being usable with Samsungs smartwatches.

How on earth do you work out your price rises. Every time I see it it’s gone up by at least 100%. I’ll be using my annual subscription and moving on

This was a fantastic app 100% 5 stars. Used it to play many rounds with friends for the past 2 years, to track live leaderboards. Now to create multiple groups you have to pay to subscribe, which used to be free (and is still advertised as free in the app description). Unfortunately this spells the end of me using Golf Game Book. Such a shame.

I rarely review apps but I was compelled to review this one. I purchased a month subscription for a overpriced cost of 8.99, they are asking for $70+ for a year subscription for essentially an electronic score card. Went to play golf a week after purchasing to figure out my subscription was not active in the app anymore and I was unable to use the features I paid for. Was told by developer there is a bug in the app, still no refund. Look for alternatives and stay clear.

This used to be a good app to track scoreboards for golf days and be able to set up different scoring formats. Now all you can do is enter your own stroke play score. Everything is now behind a pay wall and the app is completely useless. I and many of my friends have used this app for years but we will all be moving on to something else. Total rip off merchants. Very disappointed.

Lovely app. One thing I would like to be able to do is to move the flag to the exact spot it is on the green instead of the default lt middle.

This was such a great app for scoring tournaments, leagues, etc... but then they changed everything. Now I have to give 1 start. The user interface for tournaments has half the functionality. It is all but impossible to purchase licenses or tokens for more tournaments (I only got to do thru a demo). I tried to buy a 10 tournament package and it's been almost a month since they last responded to me. The stand along, single user app is OK, but if you want to go that route, 18Birdies is the superior product. These guys have really dropped the ball.

I downloaded this app expecting to use it quickly, but was immediately frustrated by the mandatory sign-in process. There’s no option to skip signing in, which is incredibly inconvenient and intrusive. I just wanted to use the app without having to create an account or link it to my personal information. Please allow users the option to skip the sign-in process!

gotten better but still feels half done, same old same old with little new. no support for wearOS(would be awesome). Forced fullscreen is the dumbest thing ever, also location services dont work properly, every time I start a round it picks Albany course*guess thats first on the alphabetical list, even tho I'm in finland, and asks to check location settings(which are on everytime), have to go back all the way to main menu, start the round again for it to know where i am and get correct course.
