Used to use this all the time. Today I could not get to my home screen without being forced to choose a subscription plan. Really sad, too, because I downloaded this years ago and had really enjoyed it. Hopefully I can re-install someday. Edit: there is a little white x up in the left corner that lets you click out of this ad, and then in the go settings you can turn off notifications from the app.

Too many ads. In the middle of writing a text message I'll be cut off by an ad. There's a widget that always stays on my screen, in front of whatever I'm doing. I checked settings I can only move it to the right or left corner, either up or down, and can make it transparent or visible. Constantly clicking on it while browsing online and it's extremely annoying. The only I reason I keep Go launcher and Go SMS is because I like the 10 second delay for text messages. When another messaging system has it I'll drop this. Ridiculously frustrating that they want people to buy "Ad Free" so badly that they would bombard them with ads every 10 minutes of being online. I timed it.

I used to love this launcher and had been an exclusive user since 2011 on Motorola, LG, HTC, Nokia, and Samsung, but it started to freeze up my phones (Lumia and S8,) and after long periods of rest, it would take 15-30 seconds to "wake up" and allow the phone to be used. Subsequent updates failed to fix the glitch and I decided to uninstall. It is too bad because I loved the customization options, but not being able to use my phone when I want/need because of the delay is unacceptable. If this is ever fixed, I will gladly reinstall.

Best Android Launcher Ever!!! I have used Go Launcher and it's various forms (S, Z, Ex and 3D) for 10 years. I have also tried many other launchers to test user friendliness & see if they have better features. None come close to Go Launcher. It is by far the best in terms of how it's set-up, the variety of features & customization options and the vast number & variety of themes. This is strictly my opinion based on my experience & preferences .

I have used this launcher app for a while but recently it has been very inconvenient and annoying. About 4-6 months ago it updated and I was inundated with adds to subscribe to the premium version. They went away after a little while, but with the latest update I have been bombarded continuously. I tried to make it go away by choosing the free 3 day option and then canceled later but they changed me for a years subscription. Will not recommend in the future.

The most recent update is trash. For some reason, it is now hiding 80% of my apps. I used to have 5 or 6 pages of apps, but now I have less than a page and a half. When I go into my settings, my apps are still there, but I have to launch them from there. Something very wrong happened in this update, and I've uninstalled Go Launcher in order to get back easy access to my apps. (they show up just fine with Go Launcher uninstalled)

I used to like this app a lot and I even paid to not have add a while ago. Now however since they changed how ads work they also changed it to a subscription of $15 a month. That's completely ridiculous. To pay more than Netflix for a simple theme app. The ads literally show up every time to go to the home screen, and it's two ads ex cert damn time. The second is a video that interrupts everything, and I can't stand this garbage. They now has more ads than freaking cable television and it's getting to the point where I can't stand this launcher any more because every so often you "reinvent it" then change how to pay for it do more money gets dumped into it. Make your money but quit being greedy jeez.

A lot better UI as the original from the phone! Update - 6/17/2022 For over 8 years and 10 phones I gladly paid for the prime version. All of the sudden it deleted all my icons and a way to access any of my apps. Uninstalled and all the apps came back. So sad, but will have to cancel subscription and go a to a different launcher. Unless it gets fixed, there's no point to this launcher.

I've used GO launcher for years now due to its customizations and it seemed to be a very smooth launcher. More and more it seems to be buggy and now the ads are simply overbearing. I get that English is not your first language but there are plenty of ways to verify grammar. The are several places in the apps notifications and settings with poor grammar which for me really takes away from the quality of the app. Bottom line - there are better, comparable and free alternatives.

I've used this forever and always loved it, but since the last software update to my phone, it's not working properly. I have the Samsung Note 10+ and it was fine at first, but since then, at least 50% of the time that I exit an app, it will go to my wallpaper and freeze, all icons and clock and pages are missing. In order to get my GoLauncher back, I've discovered I can lock my screen, then unlock it and wait for the force close option, then reset Go as my default. Pls fix, it's getting old!!

1/2020-Edit: trying on new phone years later and it's now junk. try and install and you quickly reach a point where you can NOT go on with install unless you give them credit card info and either pay or sign up to pay after 3 weeks. It's now junk software. Too bad. I really liked it in the past. End Edit....Title says it all. Fast, clean, and of looks awesome. Very well done indeed.

INCREDIBLY PROBLEMATIC on the LG V60. Crashes widgets, prevents some widgets from being replaced, shows up in the app management screen, squishes things together when rotating the screen orientation, constantly brings up the settings screen about which apps can draw over others and therefore interrupts anything else being done, and probably more I can't think of right now. Also, what happened to the Go Locker app? I've been using both for a good 8 years. They're fine when they actually work.

So creative and fun. A little addicting because there's so many options! EDIT: 3 years later in 2020 I still have it but there's an annoying pop up that tries to get you do monthly payments or a three day trial and it won't go away unless I restart my phone. I can't access any other apps unless I go to the recent or open tool bar. If I press the back button nothing happens. If I press home it goes to my homepage for half a second and then the ad pops up again. It's VERY annoying. So 3 *** now

I've been using this launcher for YEARS but today something went wrong. The app drawer is only showing a few of the several dozen apps I have and the dock lost its contents too. All of my custom widgets have disappeared too. Deleted/reinstalled the app several times and everything returns for a moment, then stops working properly again. After reading some current reviews, it seems others have the same problem. I used this and loved it for more than 10 years, I think. Oh well...

Had this app for several years and was completely satisfied with its customization ability to make my phone work the way I wanted it to. After installing it on my new phone I was bombarded with splash screens and pop-ups pushing to get the Premium version. Customization was clunky, it kept freezing, and certain features were removed or part of the upgrade package. Would pay for the upgrade if it's worth it, but others say it's pretty much more of the same. Sad end to a once great product.

I had to jump through a lot of confusing hoops to even get to the page that had the themes. Most of them didn't load a preview, but the ones that did were ugly. It's the type of art style that appeals to conservative grandparents from Florida. It forced me to select a background that it immediately applied without my permission, and would not let me back out of the app. BE CAREFUL!!! THIS APP IS MALICIOUS!!!

DON'T DOWNLOAD!! I've had this app for the past 7 years and it's been working great. I even bought the "Pro No ads" version and it's been working fine. But now I factory reset my phone and downloaded the app again and it started showing pop up ads all over the place. BS how they want me to buy it again even though I have all the proof that I already bought it. THIS IS A SCAM!!!

This used to be my favorite launcher app, helped me make my phone look and feel like my own. It's 6/5/2024 this app is utter garbage now, nothing works the site is down, no chance to get it fixed. I had to reset my phone back to factory to switch service provider, and now it says not compatible with my device, after being on there and working fine for the past 5-6 years. Please fix this, or give it to someone who can. I guess I'm off to find a new launcher...sad!

Pretty upset after having this launcher for 10yr and laying for the pro version with no ads. I've never had a problem when getting new phones. I just got a new phone and it did not Transfer my settings like normal and now wants me to pay this ridiculous subscription not happening and I refuse to deal with the ridiculous ads. I will be uninstallling for that reason.

I highly recommend this launcher. I have used it for years. I love love love the way I do not have to leave the screen I am on to open another application. My favorite application icons are on a scrollable dock located at the base of whatever page I am on. I also have side dock capabilities since I purchased the upgrade. It is easy to use. It offers a lot of customizations, themes, wallpapers, and PowerPoint styled screen transitions . It even works well with the latest model Google Pixels.
