I'm not a fan of the updated app. It doesn't show any pending transactions in the app, and the budgets don't reflect correctly. 1 minute, my account balance and amount available show 2 different balances, but then when I refresh, they align. I feel like i can't even trust the amount in my account and find myswld going to view the website. I miss the old basic app and wish I could go back to it. The only positive is that it looks more appealing, but functionality wise, I am not impressed.

I have had nothing but trouble with this app. It keeps losing the syncing to my other AK USA accounts, you cannot see pending transactions, it has not been showing updated account information when it says it is synced and I have not been able to turn the 2 factor authentication off. I should not have to receive and input a code every time I look at any of my accounts.

*Edit: After going on the computer and doing it that way, the app started working as it should. How the heck do I pay my credit card?! I swear I would hit transfer and I could move money from checking to credit but that option is gone. Only checking and saving is there. I'm so fricken frustrated. If there's another way, then this so is even more screwed up because it's obviously not user friendly!

New is not always better and just like many others here, it is very annoying to not be able to see pending transactions. This was a very helpful tab in Alaska USA app, especially when a lot of people don't use check registrars anymore. I like to view that my paycheck is also pending drop and it is almost frightening that the new app does not show this. We want Alaska USA everything brought back, not this one world banking "global" BS.

Terrible - does not show pending payments within the app the way every other banking app does. They will be taken from your balance (sporadically, without rhyme or reason) but aren't shown so you have little to no way to track unless you want to regress in time by about 30 years and start writing all of your transactions in your checkbook to manually track. I will likely take all of my banking elsewhere if this is not fixed. Definitely a downhill trend since changing from Alaska to Global.

Overalls the app looks more modern, but a few things that make it difficult to use compared to the original app. Scrolling is super clunky, i can barely scroll to what i want to see without feeling like i am stumbling around the app. Also, its harder to see things at a glance, the fonts are bigger and so i can see all the details of a single transaction at a glance, and i can look at all my transactions at a glance because so much scrolling is required.

Im not seeing any progress. Still an archaic app. !!!!!!! Transaction lines are to tiny, says withdrawal (I know it's a withdrawal DUH !!!! I want to see who my money went to not having to open the+ to see it )balance is like 6 inches away from the actual transaction so you have to use something to follow the line across. Constantly logs you out. Bring the old global app back I think the akaska customers will like it way better !! 😔 😟 🙁

The functionalities of the app are different than those on the website. For example when viewing the activity of an account it doesn't show the running balance next to each transaction. I like that the pending ACH items are put in line with the rest of the transactions. Happy it's a modernized interface. Haven't played with the 3rd party links, but it looks like it is a nice feature to add for those that aren't reviewing their overall financials in some other way. Pleased with the progress!

The app isn't terrible, but the lack of updates for purchases or payments makes one reminiscent of going back to a checkbook. I cannot even see pending transactions to estimate what remains in my account. The new app is a huge step back from the recently (as of 4/3) retired GlobalCU app. 2FA is another problem. I don't mind having it but to use it for every login gets extremely tedious.

Logging in requires 2 step even with fingerprint. Can only have one phone number so I have to check my email each time to log in. Transactions show up as "credit" instead of vendor name. You have to open the memo to see what the transaction actually is. I see in a reply further down there is no way to change the name of savings accounts. This makes things difficult as I will have to keep track of which savings is which as some accounts have similar balances but are for different things.

Obviously a new app will come with a learning curve, and this one wasn't particularly hard to navigate. My only issue so far is that it will not show pending transactions or deduct those transactions from checking account balance. What am I supposed to do, go back to pen and paper and math to figure out my available balance. Seems like this could be an easy fix.

When I started using the app. I was satisfied with what I can do with it although I thought somethings were missing, like deposit ing a check electronically through a photo. As I continued to use and learn about the app. All the features that I have wanted showed themselves to me plus some extras I had not thought about. Love it. It's beyond perfect for my needs. Biggest thing is that I don't have to go to the bank and wait in line to do most things. I really don't like waiting in line.

Double verification even after thumbprint is very annoying, and it doesn't send the code all the time. So I called in to transfer money, waiting 25 minutes and asked how long that will be going on, they don't know. If this does continue I could very well be finding another bank, which is a shame cuz I've been w akusa for well over 20 years.

Much worse than the Global app prior to the merger. Transfers between members are now extremely difficult to set up and to repeat. Pending transactions aren't showing up. Net worth chart is no longer available. A lot of transactions are showing up under the title of "Credit" and have to be opened up and viewed individually to be properly categorized. Etc. Please work on this app.

Two step verification. Every. Single. Login. Nothing I can do to get rid of it. It wants to text or call or whatever after I already not only logged in with my bank account number and password, but also registered my device and enabled biometric login. Every. Single. Time. I. Open. The. App. I WILL NOT continue to do this. I understand security but, geeez.... Excessive, an inconvenience, and a GUARANTEE to make me leave for good and never look back. After 10 years, I can't do it anymore.

The app has a newer look and feel but I find it harder to use. It has a lot of extra stuff that I do not want or need. When you open an account screen it has a balance history screen that just seems to be in the way. It is harder to scroll down through your transactions and now some of them require you to click twice on a transaction to get the information you need. I like the old app because I could see a single transaction in a single glance. I wish I had not uninstalled the old app.

Horrible new app. The previous app and website were easy use, even in rural areas without high speed connections. The new app constantly shuts down and will not update my credentials for other accounts inside the app. It is difficult to navigate and doesn't tell you simple information like your credit card balance at a glance (though it does show you how much remaining credit you have). I have been a global cu member for 24 years but looking to change banks after this. NOT USER FRIENDLY!

Worst banking app I've dealt with. Even with my fingerprint login, it requires me to enter a code sent via text message every single login. The app doesn't show pending debit card transactions. The "available balance" doesn't update with pending transactions. This is really hard to keep track of, I use the app instead of a check register! The old Global app was way better. The app looks fancy, but it's a pain.

The app is mostly okay, but the app sends notifications for transactions that can be wrong. I got a negative balance notice which prompted me to log in and call to understand why when it was positive, and I was told that sometimes happens because the system estimates what your balance might be. math is absolute. I was blown off when I asked if it was being addressed by their IT since it is a known issue. I've never heard of a bank that doesn't care if there are problems with accuracy.

The bank is amazing, I've used it for years but the app just refuses to let me sign in randomly for hours or even days at a time. I try to sign in and it just says "unable to sign in, try again later" I don't even do anything to affect my sign in but it still does it. I also wish there was a weekly or monthly spending limit and you can't use any more money for that time period. Also I have it on auto update so that's not the issue. edit: if you open it with your phone sideways it crashes 💀
