----- WHAT IS THE INSPIRATION -----
Just like doors of perception, glitches are everywhere and all around us, even if you can't perceive them:
lagged digital decoder signal, TV screens in metro, broken DVD players, bad mp3s or old and damaged SD cards.
Thanks to cyberpunk and sci-fi movies, this concept created and evolved in subcultures and music influences.

Really good selection of Glitch art effects Sadly there are some effects locked behind a paywall. It isn't bad though since you do get a decent amount of good effects and there's no intrusive ads. It's a good choice for glitch art and photo manipulation.

This is by far the best app for glitch. It's so far beyond all the other glitch apps. Its the only one I've used that offers fully configurable real time touch responsive effects, and also has some beautiful effects that I've never seen anywhere else. I pretty much addicted.

Really good app, quickly becoming one of my favorites for making glitch art. my only complaint is that there is no way to zoom in or out as far as I know, and it'd be really helpful as I keep accidentally pulling up the menu or it won't detect my finger when I try to modify the sides of an image.

At first glance, a simple photo editing tool, but after a few minutes of use, this is actually an extremely powerful photo manipulation application. With careful editing, you can create entirely original content. Immensely impressed! :)

Fun and well executed.. sometimes the left menu pops out when too close to the edge. Also when reseting an image instead of keeping the tool you were using it reverts back to the first one in the list and thats a bit annoying. Still recommended! 5/5

I definitely enjoy using this app. Have created a number of nice pieces with it. It shuts down while using certain graphic styles. Purchasing the Pro version to unlock more graphic styles is worth it except for the fact that I have to be online for them to work. Weird. It's like why did I pay for this if it's not going to be fully unlocked.

Downloaded because a gorillaz member used it, it also looked tentatively lightweight and fast. It's a bit heavier than expected but it truly runs smoothly and it's really cool to play around with. I'd pay for premium features if i could, but sadly that's out of my range. No excessive intrusive ads, that's also very neat!

Off and on, I've been using Glitch! from one phone to another. And although some effects require payments (dude, I'd rather not have the effects though), most of them are usable and are actually fun to do. I'm enjoying playing with the glitch effects because it takes my personal taste to find the perfect glitch for my pictures. Thanks a lot!

So much fun to play with photos on this app. I really enjoy glitch art so this app is great for it. Would highly recommend to those who want to kill a few hours playing with photos, or those who want to create glitch art without having to pay massive amounts for software to manipulate photos. The premium features are worth it imho as they're great looking. They're also one payment so no need to worry about having recurring costs.

I haven't found a better replacement for this, you can quickly put many glitch effects on any image. But the way you save and load images is redundant, there's also no "undo" button. Instead you can only completely reset your image which is kind of annoying. This app will probably do what you want, but not very smoothly.

I did really enjoy it, but now it seems that the undo feature resets everything and takes you straight back to the original image rather than back single steps. This is really infuriating as you either need to save after every single touch of the screen or risk a tiny thing going wrong and having to start again. Regretting the purchase a bit now.

It's not really different from how it was when it was first released. I don't see a new ui or many new effects. Really simple app with simple functions. It's weird that it's asking for an email at the beginning now. I'm NEVER going to purchase the premium but you will always have my email. Seems like just another way to scrape personal information and it's nonsense when it comes from an app that just edits photos.

A flawed masterpiece; if one for instance layers the 3D effect several times over to create fractals, the picture that is saved in the gallery often has different colours, even different designs from what is shown in app. It can cope with using several different effects but it struggles using the same effect several time in the same picture. Also if you buy the premium edition (which I did) it cannot be accessed if you have no data. I'm travelling at the moment and it can be very frustrating having to go back to the basic version if I have no data. I've made some really fun glitches with the app but more often than not I have to screenshot the end product rather than exporting it in high resolution. If these issues were fixed I would give this 5 stars straight away.

gahh I want so badly to give more stars, because the app truly has potential. firstly, I purchased the Datamosh filter, and enjoyed using for only a couple days before the app reverted back to blocking access, despite informing me that it knows I already purchased it. so pretty bummed about that given it was the main selling point for me. but still this is one of the only ones for Android which even comes close to giving the sorts of effects one can get with Hyperspektiv on iPhone

I'm really proud of this apps selection of effects and the respect of the artform in general. Id love to experiment more with this and see what happens. Unfortunately the premium version won't let me purchase infact, I either selected a single effect by a fat thumb mistake when trying tolo push the premium button, or I was routed there instead. I don't want one though, I want them all.

nice app, with over 20 nice effects for pictures. you are able to control effects with your finger ( making more or less of the effect on your picture )I would enjoy if you created this app for videos also though. I do love the 3d effect. one thing that I did not like was, cant try some glitches, only options are:buy the effect or buy pro, which I didnt want to do since I didnt know how it would look but not bad price. This also says videos now,video part doesnt work on samsung galaxy Note 10

Edit 2022: Still use this app as it's definitely the best glitch app I can find! Don't seem to have the issue I mentuoned in my original review. I love this app! It does seem to save an image that doesn't match what I created from time to time but I just screenshot if it's giving me issues. I like the effects and especially the gif/video feature!

The title is accurate, the app glitches and has a lot of bugs. Applying multiple filters vs just a single one causes poor interactions, such as stuck UI elements and improper step reversal if you don't like your edit. The app will also not correctly save your photo sometimes, showing old effects that were removed, or old steps that do not align with your current edit. Basically it will save your picture with steps you undid. When it works its good, but majority of the time it doesn't.

Still no undo feature since the last time I used this app and mentioned in my review in 2017. There's a reset button (which doesn't even work sometimes), but that only goes back to the original image. Also it won't load PNG images. All that aside, some of the effects are cool and easy to use, but many are too drastic and destroy the whole image with a single tap.
