Recently more and more issues.... the biggest part piece is recording when not requested... yes you read that right several times a day I would hot the blue button to record and it said failed to record. Which means it was already recording and but with a voice over of the video before. I have used this app for years but within recent weeks I want to delete it. No wants to be unknowingly recorded and have it sent to the group.

They need to change the glideme app back to the way it used to be in 2018. It was the best you can meet anybody around the world. You could search anybody around the world now. It's so hard to figure out you're not able to make new friends etc

Very bad after every video amassage tells me ur video is failed. So I have to close the glide and remove it from the screen then open it again . This lasts from 6 months on

My small Bible Study group has a Glide page. It's awesome. It's a members only Glide page, so we can speak freely on personal matters. Our Pastor will leave video messages for us and text messages. We can post our own video messages and text messages, Prayers. Advice. Prayer requests. Links to great sermons, Christian music, etc. Having Glide is a big bonus for our group. Our "Online Chapel". Our "Glide Family". Recommended.

Works good most of the time. But sometimes it doesn't send me notifications when I get a message. It takes anywhere from 2 minutes to 30 minutes for the app to notify me. And then it doesn't send all of the messages until after that

wowowow last I reviewed this it was 2016!! Man have things changed. my family and I use it still *everyday* no joke. It's especially helpful for the older folks in the family who find texting or video calls live too challenging. With reasonable updates and no real complaints after all these years in can definitely say this is my most used and most loved app. It just need a search to look through old messages. Thanks to the developers for the continued updates and usability!!

I tried out this app during an exhaustive search for a replacement for Marco Polo. It is SO CLOSE to being a viable alternative! The only features it's lacking are 1) the ability to attach a video from the device, 2) variable speed playback, 3) message forwarding (not a dealbreaker). If they were to add these features, EVEN BEHIND A PAYWALL, they could easily take ALL of Marco Polo’s customers, because they are SERIOUSLY dropping the ball right now. And I’d gladly be the first to sign up!

I've been using Glide on/off for 6 months, mainly with deaf and Hard of Hearing adults who don't have a smart phone with Voice-Calling. It works well but I'm about to quit using it (one more friend still uses it to contact me) because my eyesight is so poor. On my Samsung Note8, the video picture (and the ASL signs I'm trying to read) are in a 1" square, postage stamp area. It's to hard read fast sign in that space. I'd really appreciate it y'all could make a full-screen and landscape mode option.

For some reason, I am no longer getting notifications when a glide comes through. I have reached out for assistance a couple of times with no response. It's really disappointing. My best friend and I have to text each other to say check your glide, totally defeats the purpose sometimes. We have relied on this app for a couple of years now and it sucks that it has become so much less reliable. I HAVE ALREADY REPORTED THIS AS A BUG MULTIPLE TIMES!!

I've loved glide for YEARS...But as of recently, I've experienced nothing but glitching with a green screen, my videos rarely play, the words and the mouths of people don't match up...it went from being the best app to a huge inconvenience! I'm sad to let glide go...but my friends/family & myself are all experiencing the same issues! Glide is sadly not the same!

Easy to use & convenient. I use it everyday w/friends/fam. I dont have time to make phone calls especially while driving. Great for hands free convos & I talk uninterrupted for 5 mins I get to listen glides sent to me in my down time or on the go I can text response. Glitches come at the most inopportune time App shuts down randomly, video will only play half way, it plays the sound faster than the video, record button disables. My App is on auto update. I uninstall/install app in hopes it's fix

Update 5/24/20: not as glitchy anymore. When a video doesn't play, I just download it and then it works. Still use as a great way to keep long distance conversation going. App used to work fine. Ever since the two week archive switch, app always gives me error in playing videos. Have to forward them to email in order to view. Really inconvenient

This used to be a great app. I don't know what's happening now. My videos won't play over wifi.... ANY wifi (I've submitted a bug report but i'm not going to do it for Every video that won't play which is all of them.) The videos load out of order. I have to close and open the app to get new videos. It's just a mess. Feb 2019 ----> STILL can't play videos over wifi.

I have used this platform for quite a while now and I have loved it and marketed for it. HOWEVER this app has continually declined in quality. I put up with it for a while but at this point it no longer serves me. I cant watch my videos because it constantly says I have a slow connection even though I have a very strong connection other people that I usually talk to are having the same issue where they can't see my videos and unfortunately thats a deal breaker.

Update: This feature has now been implemented & the glitches are fixed!!! ... Previous: Overall, this app is awesome. One great feature would be to be able to download the videos that are sent to us. Also, the app has quite a few glitches that need to be worked out. It likes to just stop working sometimes which is frustrating.

This app has a feature in which you can make your profile public and discoverable to other people. The problem with that is, there are a lot of weird people who send inappropriate messages. I changed my settings so my profile wasn't public anymore, yet people still found me and sent crazy messages. When I emailed Glide, I got a automated message telling me to block those sending inappropriate content. That doesn't solve the issue, especially when it's dozens of people sending inappropriate things all the time.

i like it so far! It's far improved from when I first used it. My guy and I are in an LDR, and it's great for sending longer videos (most apps maybe give you a minute, but this one is five minutes!) when we're busy and can't chat. i would like the sending feature to be a little easier to navigate, but we're both not the most tech savvy so could just be that. Overall, really love this for keeping in touch!
