I disagree with the reviews that complain about having to sign up for something or requiring a keyboard to download a gif. I've never been required to sign up for anything in order to use this app. And I'm unfamiliar with the keyboard function someone wrote about, but there's no need to exit or copy/paste in order to use it where you want to. Just like any image you would want to download from a website or someone's page, hold the image and then choose save or share. Btw, ❤️ this app!

Love the app! But recently the create your own gif feature doesn't allow you to use the full camera. It shows in a square and distorts features, and when you save the gif there's a black block on the end where the gif should have extented to. If you want more detail, I have a gif that didn't have this issue and one that does if you'd like me to email them to your company to exemplify the issue

Update: found support email via app store page. Should be listed in-app though. Still 2 stars. 1. As far as I saw there's no way inn-app to make a gif from a youtube video, which is literally the only reason I downloaded the app. 2. When I go to the support page and enter something in the search bar then press the search button, nothing happens. 3. The app says no internet connection, no matter if I use 4g or wifi, but I'm not having any connection problems for any other app.

USED TO WORK !! I used to be able to preview what the gif would look like but after the latest update.. (i assume) they just look lile images and i have to physically hit the send button to see it in motion. ALSO, the gif will at first move at a normal speed but after i send, it goes 80m/hr that you can't even understand the gif or the words get lost.

the jury is still out since I just installed this yesterday but so far I haven't been able to send many of the gifs with my text messages because the image is just too large! I wanted to send one of the dragons from Game of Thrones along with a text and I can't do it. I can't see where there's a way to minimize the image. And I feel like they're ought to be information on the gifs as to what size the file would be if you tried to send it. I do like all the choices you have to search

I just installed this because I was having problems with tenor gif and I had some other one installed but had too many advertisements, and then another one I had naked women every other picture, so I tried this. And so far it's perfect. No advertisement, many selections for my searches, sent the gifs quickly either via text. So it's only been 30 minutes, but so far five stars

Too many clicks to get to the search. UI has you clicking the bottom for search, then multiple times at the top to activate the text box, then back to the bottom for the keyboard. There is NO good reason not to activate the text box and bring up the keyboard with a single press of the search button. Very poor design. Also tired of it censoring my search results. Give us an "allow NSFW" results option. Easier to just voice search google at this point.

There's a new feature to the app now; if you try to create a gif with a photo selected from your device files, the screen just goes black and remains that way indefinitely. Is there a point to this? The app for Android has been rendered useless, as it has no input bar to upload URLs. The only thing this app does do repeatedly is access my device's camera and flash.

The issues that I've been experiencing is that with many softwares, downloads, updates, and internet service (WiFi) it will buffer for a certain amount of time, same with it freezes randomly or when it crashes the software to automatically shutdown at random times and say check Internet connection (or WiFi). That's a common thing, it means that there's bad connection with the internet connection within WiFi and ithernet cables, etc. That means find a secure and strong internet connection. 🌐

Whenever I attempt to make a gif, the quality is destroyed and it stutters incredibly noticeably. If that doesn't happen, there's still the constant unresponsiveness to deal with. Half the time when I press a button or attempt to load something, the app just gives up. This includes trying to upload directly from giphy to another site, such as Instagram. This app only works once in a blue moon on the 13th day of every other month.

It was unbelievably frustrating and time consuming to create a GIF using this app. I ran into different issues along the way due to having to use a different app to capture my screen. After finally cutting the video, I went to put words on the screen but that hardly worked as well. It wont let me move the word at all or let me place it at the correct time in the video. I have seen some awesome GIFS on this app and I'm dissapointed that I cannot make one that is half as good as those.

Hate it! Ever since the update the copy link 🔗 has not work. When Someone view the copy link gif it just shows the homepage of the app. If I can't share gifs then what is this app good for. Also all my saved and recent gifs were deleted. All that saving gifs for nothing. Also the new interface is completely confusing. When its not broke don't fix it. I wouldn't recommend this app to anyone. Very disappointed!

Okay, SO- Instead of getting the stickers when you tap on the option, when you enter what you're searching for, you now have to add "#stickers" to find the stickers. Explaining this to us when the app was updated would have been nice. The glitching others have complained about is easy enough to fix- reposition or resize the sticker, or add a few stickers, save it, then add the others. Still a FANTASTIC app. I couldn't find a replacement & I TRIED.

It would be a five star app IF you were able to add it to your keyboard on samsung. It doesn't appear as a keyboard in the phone's "manage keyboards" settings, yet iPhone users are able to add it to their keyboard. And there aren't any real settings in the app itself. I hate to say that it's inconvenient to switch over to the app to find a gif...wait for it to load into your text, and have to type out who you're sending it to....but it is. Make an update!

I just updated the app so I can correct the glitches of not being able to change colors of the letters, because it was only changing from black to white when touching each color. Only to now not be able to do anything including change letter color. Whole screen keeps freezing and I've closed out the app twice already and restarted it. FIX THE GLITCHES...That should have been fixed with the update, as you've stated, you did. Smh

Good -when- it works; IF saved as video then turned into a GIF on my phone. When saved as GIF it's poor quality with an annoying gap before image repeats. I have a Note 9 which may be a factor but doesn't seem to cause problems with other editing apps. It has been frustratingly inconsistent and glitchy with no way to know what I'm going to get each time. Also, limited text options and layers just randomly disappear or an item gets stuck and can't be moved or deleted. I'm done with it. 😑

The content and setup is great, but every time I have tried this app it runs so slow it's unusable. No other app has this issue on my phone. The search page loads but when I click on an app it stays a solid color, and if it does load, it freezes. When I click on the app icon I use to share, that just blinks dark and light and never does anything. So unfortunately, even though the app seems great, it is one hundred percent unusable for me.
