Worst predictive text I've ever experienced. I use the same title and intro for my FB group every single day and after 3 weeks, it still does not predict what I'm about to type. Same for other repeated phrases I use. Swiping is HORRIFIC. And it's not intuitive. The gifs are blurry. There's nothing redeeming about this keyboard. Most agonizing app to use. Poor UX, mediocre UI. I tried, but I'm giving up. Uninstalled.

I like the keyboard. I don't use the emoji. I use the Textra emoji because they have so many. After over a year and still have to tripple tap space bar for a period and the next letter to be capitalized. Small gripe, but every keyboard only needs two taps and after years of two taps it's hard to do three taps naturally. Update: devs told me they fixed it but it's not fixed. I have all the setting correct. If they can't fix this by now they never will. Update. Finally fixed itNow I will pay for it

Despite being listed as top recommendation on a popular website, they make you pay for auto correct. What a great way to money grab for a keyboard app. Would be okay with a one time fee. Not a subscription. Hardly any customization options for custom themes. Will be looking for a better keyboard that doesn't do it just for the money.

I used this keyboard for a few years now and I learned to love the keyboard layout. I even shelled out the money for the spelling and grammar checker with had improved over the years, but the word suggestions features is only halfway decent, and I feel like even though it hook up to my google account it don't keep any memory of my word suggestions across devices. Allow that data to sync across devices.

Why would you bury the ? and ! under the period key? Why not make them easily accessible, like where the + and - keys are? Granted, either way requires a long key press, but there's always a decent chance of slipping past whatever key you're shooting for under the period key. Also, if you're a one hand typist it's much easier to touch the middle of the keyboard than to crank your thumb back to long press the period key. Finally, swipe doesn't work well unless your path is very precise.

Facet keyboard. Word collection isn't that has, and for sure train, it didn't cumin words (like apologize). THE ABOVE WAS TYPED WITH THIS KEYBOARD. Now, this is what I really typed: Decent keyboard. Word correction isn't that great and for some reason, it doesn't recognize common words (like apologized). I've noticed it removes all tenses and plurals of a word, including the "S"s after a word, the "ed" after a word, etc. uninterrupted...UNINSTALLED because it became frustrating.

I really want a google alternative key board that works but it seems impossible to find. The swipe function is useless more often wrong than right, it can't be set to two languages at once only one or the other. And the slightesslightest touch makes it switch to other language keyboard. So many bugs is impossible to know where to begin. Absolute junk.

Decent app and less bloatware than many. But autocorrect is awful and the proofreading is wacky. When writing about work it suggested that "taking shots" was more appropriate for the context. Funny, but not helpful. There is no lag at all in this keyboard, but the extreme slowness of correcting every single word is no bueno.

Ok keyboard. It needs a few small tweaks, like auto spacing after using a comma or period. It would be good to change the long tap length for the alt characters. Auto cap would be useful when starting a new sentence. The ability to switch language via space bar nice. But if I pick a punctuation character, like an apostrophe, I slide into the space bar and change languages by accident. Also, I wrote this to get rid if the annoying Love Ginger review ad every time the keyboard comes up! 🤪

Ginger Keyboard works well but I did not like it because of the upgrade pricing. The upgrade subscription pricing is just too expensive. Having to pay a yearly subscription to continue using a feature makes no sense to me when there are other keyboards with similar features for free. I'm sure that I'm not the only one turned off by the pricing model for this keyboard. If you made the upgrade pricing a reasonable one time fee I might consider keeping this keyboard.

Ginger Keyboard must be one of the hidden gems among Android keyboard apps. Not as well known as Gboard or Swiftkey, I found this keyboard app to be very comfortable in usage. Predictions are as good or better than those two competitors. There are some features that are missing in Gboard and Swiftkey. Middle prediction box (with three dots) expands to include more choices. Grammar checker is very intuitive and is worth the subscription for long-term usage. I also like Create Theme feature, in which I can choose background and button color and contrast to my likings. I encountered an issue with subscription purchase, but the customer service was excellent and fixed the glitch with the latest update. Ginger Keyboard is a great alternative to stock or other third-party keyboard apps.

Everything on this keyboard feels kind of glitchy. It doesn't seem to recognize a lot of commonly used words and will often autocorrect them into something that is nothing like what I said. The swipe feature, which I use exclusively for texting and typing on my phone, does not pick up letters properly. It also doesn't seem to have any type of memory of commonly used words or phrases. I give it's a 3 because it is usable, but it could definitely use some upgrades.

Been using this keyboard for a while new version seems to work better updating score. Id like to see more emoji and moveable keys, I often hit the period instead of the space bar. Updating review 2019 has simplified ui for spelling and grammar and seems pretty accurate, I wish it wasn't a monthly subscription though. I have used the paid service for a year and loved it. Just prefer a 1 time payment vs monthly.

for the most part Ginger works well but there are still some things that need to be worked into the program. such as being able to make corrections to what ginger considered an error or an improper phrase in speech. Even if the adjustments can be made to the individual's application and saved as a preference would go a long way towards helping the repeating errors that it may show in a piece of writing. All in all I continue to use the application cuz it goes a long way towards helping me edit

I'm trying to give it sufficient time to prove worthwhile. However, it has one of the worst spell checking capabilities I've seen in a long while. It appears to have no skill set to take a word and offer multiple choices outside of what the first letter. The flow function, where the finger follows for typing, is chopped and intermittently fails to function. I still can not find how to add the microphone to the key board. I'll continue to try but it really is proving to be a frustrating app

The suggested word selection is terrible. Frequently I find myself manually typing the word in instead of being able to select it from the list. Half of this feedback was manually typed. *EDIT* I used multiple times per day for 1 week. Simple words such as (food, them, done) wouldn't even come up in the suggestions when I went to edit the words that came out wrong. I switched to another Swype keyboard with GIF abilities, which is all I really wanted. Maybe 1 week wasn't enough, but my previous keyboard didn't have as many issues and my new keyboard seems to work better after only 2 days as well. I understand it's a learning algorithm, My opinion is it doesn't learn fast enough, or well enough then. I don't have time for it to take 6 months to learn my speech patterns. I will say, it was easy to install and set up. Once installed, it was being used in less than a minute.

This app was easy to set up, runs smooth; no lag when appearing on the screen, a fun way to personalize a keyboard, great for writing emails, resumes and even reviews with the auto correction feature! Just an all around great addition to any device. All I ask that there be a handwriting-to-text feature for the stylus. I use my Note 8 stylus even when I'm using the Qwerty keyboard but love that I can customize the background on your app! It'll definitely be a game changer if you added that.

I like this board out of a half dozen or more. It feels solid and is easy to type on for me. Space bar doesn't get in the way and isn't offset like some models. It resizes and the options work well for me. It doesn't lag. Users who prefer to disable both the popup on keypress and tactile vibration is also user adjustable. Best board for me personally. It just works and is fast without errors upon input. I do not use the swipe to text option however thus, I cannot comment on that aspect.

Ten star keyboard! Happy sending messages again. I've tried top rated ones, switching after disgusted to other ones. Typing slowed down, corrections would drive me insane an unending list of annoyances were appearing. I was at wits end. I did an internet check once again, this time Ginger Keyboard appeared as being an excellent choice. I love the sentence structure suggestion and I still can keep GIFs, etc., zero lost by switching.

I've used many keyboards before and frequently download this one to see how it has improved. Glad I did. Love the features it provides, the amazing corrections and the minigames. Unfortunately, it also lacks a lot of customization that could greatly benefit it. For example, since the smart bar is available, can you give users the option to move the emoji key to it instead of on the main keyboard? This would allow the space bar to be longer and help avoid hitting it on accident. Great app!
