Gameplay is great, controls are by far the best of any gin game I've tried. However, microtransactions are all over the place. I'm ok with paying some money for a well designed game, but there is not even an option for a one time purchase here, only ridiculously expensive features you can purchase for a matter of days before they disappear. Great design, but seriously fix the pay structure :(

It is very disappointed that i can't create an account without facebook. Playing as a guest all of the time has forced me to delete the app. It also takes FOREVER to find someone to play with. Maybe because as a guest i can't seem to build up enough points to do anything. I think the graphics are great and the option to organize the cards are nice.

Last time I wrote a review it was erased by the developer of the game. It isn't fun when commercials appear when the hand is done. If I want to see a promotional commercial I will elect to see it. Not be forced to view it. When it happens I just end the use of app. Well they finally fixed the problem with infomercial. Now you can opt. out instead of being forced to watch. NICE!!!

I actually enjoy playing this game. you win some, you lose some. of course when you pluck 8 cards and none seems to help you out is a little weird but whatever. I do find it strange that when you accidentally pull out from the table early, u lose your winning streak but when your opponent leaves the table for whatever reason it doesn't add to your winning streak then. please fix!!

I really enjoyed this game until the latest update. Now with a 30 second ad after every game, it's just not worth it. It used to be the only negative was the lucky spin feature, which was always a worthless prize or an impossible goal (top 25?!). Also it is more noticeable when you are playing against a computer bot now. These ads need to go or you will lose a lot of players.

While the game itself is fun, the cards dealt are horribly one sided. Time and time again some players are dealt hands that only need one or two cards for Gin. It seems very set-up. The game doesn't have much really to do with skill. I also think not having chat available and charging for it is ridiculous. And I noticed you keep telling people you want to hear from them... When you hit the help button on the application, there's no way to text anything because the keyboard never shows up.

I have played this game for a long time. It's a good enough app, but I have some issues; I dislike that when I go into a game mode(like rookies or sharks) I cannot click on the picture of who I'm paired with to see what percentage of ginner or knocker they are until I'm IN the match. I also hate that when I reject a match it takes me all the way out and back to the main menu. That's ridiculous. Also, custom games should at least be free after a certain level. Too much pay to play.

DON'T SAY TO CONTACT YOU IN THE APP... THIS OPTION DOESN'T WORK, LIKE OTHERS HAVE ALSO SAID! Bets havent been able to be changed in months. Contacted support 3 times and they keep telling me to submit through the app. I keep telling them nothing can be done in the app. The options are there but when you click in the area to add a comment...or when you try to change a bet, it doesn't allow that anymore. I cannot get any help with this.

This game could be awesome but it isn't. 1. Be prepared. The knocking is out of control on this format and you can't see a player's stats unless you agree to a game. 2. The game is extremely glitchy. The amount of games I have lost due to internal errors "needing to refresh" causing me to lose turns is ridiculous and you don't get refunded. They need to take care of these issues because the game could be amazing.

I loved this game, truly I did. Yes, it feels rigged most of the time but I didn't really care because i knew that I'd win a lot then lose a lot so it evened out. However, throwing all these ads during the game is ridiculous! They are all 30 second ads that you can't get rid of unless you close the game or suffer through the 30 seconds of stupidity! At least give an option to pay for no ads! Please fix ASAP!! I will update my rating if the ad issue gets resolved!

UPDATE: After playing for years and accumulating a substantial pile of coins alas it was too good to be true. After the latest "update" my how the game play has changed. When you lose 20 games in a row using the same successful strategy I can see a difference in the algorithms. I'll stop back from time to time to see if any new "updates" make any appreciable 'improvement' but unfortunately its time to move on. Oh and I love the automated canned responses, its so encouraging speaking to the wind.

Super graphics, runs well. However be prepared to lose many games in a row because the cards are not random. If your opponent gets a face card, so will you. I've had opponents go out on their first, second hand, more times than I can count. I've watched opponents get "perfect" hands over and over while I get difficult hands. The lower your chip count, the more you lose forcing you to purchase to play. Do not recommend.

I hate this game and have uninstalled it. If you buy coins, it basically forces you to bet higher. If you play against someone much higher or lower leveled, you lose. The program messes with one (like the card you needed showing up as soon as you give up and toss one of the related cards). Added to this, I've been in a position to go out immediately, but the button isn't presented and I've actually lost.

DON'T BOTHER. Game constantly freezes and causes you to lose your winnings and the current game. They state its not their fault. I have done as asked with no change. Multiple times deleting and reinstalling. No change, continues to freeze (been playing off/on 2 years). I have taken screen shots and complained and they just respond with "not our game/problem". Won't be installing again. Check other reviews, they say the same thing!!!!!! And I get an email that says "must be your connection" 😂😂

Updated: Used to be really good. Basic, simple, fun. Now, there's so many pops ups, additional things that outright force you through endless tutorials and extra side things that trying to just get into a game takes ages. I almost just closed the app and left. Then it tried to force you into a high stakes game, where you can only get out by closing the whole app down. Not sure if they're just trying to force coin purchases or what, but it is irritating.

Been playing this game for four years, and sometimes it takes forever to find a certain game mode. They have an option to search for specific tables, but it has said "Search Option Coming Soon" for FOUR YEARS. But they absolutely update the game constantly with pointless graphics and anything revolving around getting money from the micro transactions. If there was a better choice available, I would take it before choosing this one.

I loved this app... But it seems more and more money grabby. I know apps are for profit, but when it takes ten minutes to go through all the graphics trying to sell you the extra features before you can play... come on. And now I cant win one in four or five matches. They say its a fair algorithm. Maybe, maybe nor, but when you lose five or six in a row because the game deals your opponent gin in three turns, you start to think its just trying to force you to buy coins. Im gonna delete it.:(

It was great. And then after the latest install, I can no longer make in app purchases. I get an error message The play store was unable to process your purchase. Please check the settings and try again. I have no problem purchasing in any of the other games I play. I guess I will just play for free. And if you do t have Facebook, you have to continue to play as guest. There are no options, to sign up through email. Yes, there are people who don't do FB.

The functionality of the game is great BUT whatever system they use for random generated cards on the shuffle is rigged for weaker players. I understand the game is meant for "Fun" but if I wanted to play against the computer then I would have gotten an offline game. Another negative is that when the opponent knocks you cannot change your hand from the way you have it.

This weekend the game is having a coin sale. So bc I don't buy coins, the AI has somehow marked my account so that I can't get above level 16 on the Lucky Championship. I can't be so terrible a player considering that I end up averaging about 12-20 on the list in the previous championships. Also when the add pops up, it doesn't have a X to get out of it. You have to click on the buy button and then hit the arrow to go back to the home page.
