Basic Rules of Gin Rummy
-Gin rummy is played with a standard 52-card pack of cards. The ranking from high to low is King, Queen, Jack, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, Ace.
-Form the cards into sets of 3 or 4 cards sharing the same rank OR runs of 3 or more cards in sequence of the same suit.
-In standard gin, only a player with 10 or fewer points of deadwood may knock. Knocking with 0 point of deadwood is known as going Gin.
-If you initiate the Knock and score fewer points than the opponent, you win! If you score more points, the Undercut occurs and the opponent wins!
How to play Variations
Classic Knock & Gin: It follows the basic rules of class gin rummy mentioned above.
Straight Gin Rummy: The feature of Straight Gin is that knocking is not allowed. Players are required to play until one of them can go gin.
Oklahoma Gin Gummy: The value of the first face-up card is used to determine the maximum count at which players can knock. If the card is a spade, the hand will count double.

I love gin rummy but I was having problems finding an app that wasn't dark or overly serious. This one seems to fit the bill. I would have given it five stars but things move really quickly in this game and I haven't had time to experience or figure out how different things work. For instance, there's a gift that shows up by my avatar. I have yet to figure out what that gift means.

Whoever you're playing always ends up with gin almost immediately. Also a completely messed up betting system. Dont play and FOR SURE DONT SPEND YOUR MONEY!!!!!!! The game does look really good though, it just doesnt play fair. It seems like you're playing against bots most of the time seeing as how I played about 20 games and only played against 6 or 7 different people and those people always held on to the card I would have needed to get gin until they got gin. Awful game honestly.

Please would you make it clear what the Ad free version costs are? Customers will not pay for something that doesn't have a clear pricing policy. Your pop up window in the app suggests "ad free" and a figure of $4.99 but then a Google play window pops up warning the user that they are "withdrawing their rights" if they press the "Agree" button. Withdrawing their rights to what? It's confusing, it's not clear, I'm happy to consider a one off fee for an ad free version but not until you clarify

I really like the offline option so I can practice. However, lately after watching the ad between hands, the screen often goes black and doesn't go to the next hand. I lose the amount it cost me to play the game, even when I was winning. It is very frustrating.

Updated 16/04 thank you the issue is fixed I have changed rating to 5 stars. Keep up the good work. Great app. Not sure what's happened but the game has stopped working on ios and won't open at all. I've loaded it onto Android and the same problem only as I've just loaded it asks to continue with Facebook or guest but won't allow me to continue due to Internet connection problem. My Internet connection is fine. Please fix as I was really enjoying this game.

Could be 5 star but if you purchase any coins to play, which is extremely cheap for how much you get... I ended up with 500k, you can no longer play in the cheaper room because "your skill set is higher".... but how does the amount of coins determine your skill when you bought not earned them? Sus..... and there does seem to be some bot players that always seem to edge the win right before you do. Happens way too often to be coincidence. Overall it's an OK game play.

This is a wonderful game! I play it all the time! Great graphics! I have recommended it to my friends, coworkers, and family! The best Gin Rummy game and also great to keep your brain sharp too! Love the music and themes! You play against real people! They also have a lot of fun and special events frequently, so you can get some good stuff! The graphics are clear, colourful, and sharp looking! Cute animations! You need this game today for sure!!! You won't be disappointed!!!!

The worst game ever. I played straight gin. I chose total point of 100. Just started the game and then few seconds later the opponent gin and it happen too many times. Like how can the opponent gets all the gin cards where we're just getting started. It's unfair. It's like this game is intended to make the opponent wins. Don't make excuses saying that its the algorithm. Dishonest. Waste of time. Waste of energy. One of the worst game out there.

Good game play and not too many adverts. A bit too many super experienced players would benefit from having a filter for players to be more evenly matched. Still a good game but same problem and another one too make things worse... some players start but then don't deal the cards trying to psych you out. As if you quit you lose the non points for quitting...= so hard to keep focused.

I really love the game but opponent winning every hand is not cool I play ten hands and lose all but one it seems like the odds are against me no matter how well I play the game

This is the best Gin Rummy game out there. I wished I could get it on my Samsung tablet. It's nice to be able to put your cards together in the order YOU choose & not the game choosing. Only thing I'd like to see is letting me make the amount I bet. The other opponent gets to choose that. It gets annoying waiting for an opponent to bet what you want to bet. I recommend it to everyone. Lotsa fun & will continue to play.

Too many LOUD ads during the games. Games have been fun, love the auto sort feature. I play offline most of the time, can't seem to get enough points to play online. I don't buy anything from the games I play, so probably not going to amass points anytime soon! It's a great way to relax.

Something has happened to the app. I don't see where there was an update. It won't open. Says problem with internet connection. I've tried on several wifi networks and wireless data. I've reset, cleared cache and reinstalled. It has worked fine from February until today. So much for the 2.4 million chips I built up.

Just like all the other Gin apps...you start out winning more than you lose. I would win at least half of the games I played. Now, I absolutely can't win a single game. Opponents conveniently pick up all of my discards, and get Gin right off the bat. I'm almost at the point of deleting the app because it's no fun at all to lose every single game.

Rigged! You're either on a losing streak or winning streak. And I mean days long losing streaks. I bought the 1000000 coin special and went through it too fast & I'm not a high bidder. I don't mind losing, but not when they don't give a single set in your hand throughout the whole game. Happens too many times. Biggest glitch is their timer that, almost all of the time, makes you & your opponent wait until the very end before either can make a play. It's frustrating & makes playing 3x as long.

This is probably the best free Gin Rummy app I've found! Ads aren't too terrible, can skip after a few seconds (unless you intentionally watch some for free coins, then it's only about 30 seconds and gives 1.1-2k coins each time). I ended up purchasing No Ads, which was only like $5, and definitely worth it. I like that you can go into Classic and set what you want to bet, instead of getting random bet amounts. My only complaint is it eats batteries. Outstanding otherwise!!

Problem was addressed and seems to be working better. Thank you for your quick response and fair reimbursement. That is the kind of response and service needed in all games. Update: Game has started glitching quite a bit. I've lost coins because of it freezing and timing me out of turns or saying not connected to internet even though I'm always connected. Please fix bugs. It's great to wind down from the day. No I don't win all the games but that's part of it. Thanks for helping to relax.

I like the game, but it is designed to where you have to spend lots of money to get or do or use anything. It could be so much better. It takes too long to move up levels. And it is hard to get a game book full, and it will not allow you to move up levels very easily fast..side games that it does are designed not to let you win either. Better have money to play.
