Actually, you are able to add text, it's in the decorations section. The app lived up to my best expectations of it. It works well. You have the option to compress your gif and send it through media or to people. For me--and maybe it's because of my phone quality, because I've had this phone for a while--, I was not able to set the gif as a wallpaper for my phone. But I only tried it because it was an option. However, I bet that if I try a lesser quality gif or a smaller gif it would work.

I love this app but it needs two minor improvements. The ability to use the same image multiple times in creating an animation, and in addition to stickers, effects, drawing, etc, it needs text as an option. Maybe I'm missing something, but I use this app a lot and I'll probably figure it out! Thanks for a great app!

Pretty good, has everything I wanted when I was downloading it. Except when I screen capture something to make a gif/video, that footage gets really laggy and looks like it's buffering when I edit the screen capture at all. Like I wanted to crop and trim my video but when I did it looked like a PowerPoint

Does NOT read webp files. I am most frustrated that the ad for this app came up when I searched for webp to gif because, as amazing as this app looks, probably worth paying for even, none of the functions I could find in the app see webp except the "image" portion and it sees it as static, not moving. This seems to be false advertising to me.

Im impressed, after looking for about a year finally found a gif app that works! With the other apps you have to download two or three different apps because they don't have all of the tools in one place. It's like they always leave out something like cropping or speed or color adjustment or something like that. But this app is different it has everything you want, it responds fairly quickly especially compared to most of the other apps which take about an hour to save your gif.this app rules

Favo thusfar, plenty of nice features to edit gifs... Thanks creators and please keep up the great work! Some issues with resolution upon saving projects. The clarity of the letter is just not there so I have to go back start all over from scratch. Bringing me to the feature that would help greatly. If we could save our steps or backtrack and edit as opposed to starting over that would make this app even more spactacular.

Simple and straight forward without loops. Video to gif? Options there. Wanna take just 3 seconds from a 5 minute video? Easy to navigate. Speed up or slow down for dramatic effect?? It'll do it for you easily. And there is so many other features I haven't tried yet. Currently just need video clips into easy to watch gifs. Making gifs with this app takes out the parts that make you dread having to do a task and makes you wanna make another gif immediately after completing your last one. Im happy

Is yet to use all the features wins in this app or yet to even have a reason to use any of the extra features to be honest. But as far as just using it just to turn videos into GIF, this is one of the best apps there are. I just wished it would work better with videos up to 10 to 15 seconds at least. Because I've seen get that long before. But in this app it speeds up the video so much for that that it'll literally start skipping frames and not look so smooth. I hope eventually we can.

By far one of the best applications on my phone. I don't know how many y'all are up to by now but, I think I'm up to like 328, 329, and this is by far in the top 10. If you use Google Voice, NECESSITY. If you try and send a sms attached to gif with Google Voice, and the gif is too large {1MB}, it will delete the gif and the message it has attracted to it. If you ever wanted to prop, resize, or change the resolution of a gif in any form+ much much more! Then this is the app u want. 👍💯

Ads aren't fun, but the tool itself is really solid, and the paid version is worth it if you're making numerous gifs, which gets rid of the add issue. The only other complaint I would have is not being able to snap text overlays to a grid, which makes aligning text a pain, but that's a relatively minor complaint when all the features necessary to make a video into a gif are present and work exceptionally well.

Overall the app is pretty solid. My only gripe is that you can't really do anything with videos past 1 minute. I can understand why only a minute is allowed of course, but I'd like the option to chose WHEN in the video that I'd like to make the GIF and not just get stuck at the beginning. I could be either missing something or maybe it's not possible. Either way the app is good.

Changing to 3 stars. i actually really like this app for what it does. However, when i make a gif file & try to share to someone else or through social media, it no longer performs as a gif, & comes thru to the receiver as just 1 still photo, the 1st one of the group of pics chosen for your gif. i love all the other options like the filters & cropping & other editing tools. this seems to be just a bug that can be fixed, & if that happens I'll put it back up to 5 instead of the current 4 stars.

I downloaded this with a fairly simple use case, I wanted to add text to a gif I already had. After a little while playing around with it, I got text, but I could not work out how to give it a border (so the white text showed up against the parts of the background that were white. It was easier to just do this with a website online. It seems like you can do a lot more things, so this app might be useful for other people, but it wasn't easily able to do what I needed.

There is at least one better gif maker in play store. There are a number of issues with this one. First and foremost, it does not show folders. All past gifs that need to be edited, are put in one folder. Good luck finding a particular gif if anyone has 2000 or more gifs in that folder. Another one is that it edits a gif to a lesser quality while at the same time increasing its memory. Figure that one out! There are other issues as well, but don't have the space to write about them.

I think of my device as an Aural/Visual tool that captures, edits, modifies, produces and broadcasts A/V multimedia. Oh yeah, occasionally I need to use it as a phone too. This is among the first apps I install in every new device, and I use it often. I don't know if it's the best. I'm sure there are better, but I haven't any real reason to go looking for any yet.

Works crazy good for a free app. And the ads are super non-intrusive. I don't think I've even seen one yet. It did ask me to watch 1 ad for 3 days of rendering at the highest quality, but I just rendered at "high quality" instead. It's still hi quality! Very, very happy the devs made a great free app without spamming me with ads. Good for y'all! You did a great job

I love this app! No watermark, it's easy to use, and is perfect for converting between video and gif. Perfect for putting all my motion photos to good use! I think watching 20seconds or so of ads to unlock the higher export settings is fair for what this app can do. Been using this app for a while and I absolutely love it.

For free, this app is pretty damn good. There are some paid features that are kinda rad, that I tried out in the premium trial. I only occasionally use this app, so I can't justify the cost of premium, but if you want to turn a video of your favorite band playing live, or your friend peeing their pants into a gif, and do it fast, this is the app.

Fantastic UI & great features. There is one major hangup though. It can't handle/edit moving WebP files, which are exactly like GIFs, just a lot smaller, & are very common. This would be a bit less annoying if it could even convert WebP to GIF, but it can't. Other than this, my only 2 suggestions are to include an option for opacity in the text function, and to also make it possible to reduce or increase the FONT SIZE there, as opposed to having to adjust the entire size of the text box.

The main menu could use a little help aesthetically, but it still works smoothly. This is the only one I had used for a few years. However, if you upload 12 frames and set the time to 1 second, it'll say it's at some different number of frames per second and it wouldn't look right. A little annoying when you're trying to basically use it to animate to avoid learning FlipaClip. That being said, after trying the others, this one is the only one out of two that keeps transparent backgrounds.
