After using a lot of different geocaching apps, this one is my go to app. With the ability to see lonely caches, county borders, the ability to use off line maps, and an integrated WheriGo player, this app should be the standard. Granted, it is setup different from the other apps but after some time it is very useful.

It took a while to grasp the concept, but now loving it more each day. As I use it almost daily and become more familiar with the app, I am discovering new features nearly each time I use it! I am sure it is gonna be my "go to" app for geocaching. The best of geocaching apps available to date! This app is feature rich, more are being added often. Ron Yost is excellent about keeping the app updated with new features. It is definitely the best app available for geocaching to date.

I started using Geooh after having issues with all other geocaching Android apps. I have never looked back! Geooh has been amazing. I love the functionality it offers - map automatically shows ALL cache waypoints, GPX tracks, wherigo player, map overlays, waypoint averaging, tb scanner, pic in pic mode, nearby notification, etc.....so many more! The developer provides regular updates. He is easily approachable and welcomes feedback. Thanks for developing the best geocaching app out there!

This is the best geocaching app out there for android, in my opinion. I love that you can see the adventure lab stages, the newest caches in the area you're in (with FTFs marked that are still available), it keeps track of your daily finds and so much more.

Coming from c:geo, I was concerned due to comments stating that c:geo users might struggle. So far, I like what I see. Lots of features, far more than I understand, in fact. For simple caching, it seems intuitive to me. No troubles finding the ones I've looked for. Dev has been helpful when I've had questions, both via email and Facebook. When I found a bug, he seemed appreciative of me letting him know. I have more good to say, but I'm near the character limit. Bottom line: money well spent.

So far so good. I am a huge fan of the official app and on occasion used C:geo. But with both apps i struggle to download Whereigo cartridges. I found this app that stated that you can play the cartridges. I took a chance and paid my money just for the whereigo feature. I wasn't dissapointed. Within minutes i had the cartridge downloaded. It was quick, simple and easy to do. I can see myself using this along side the offcial app alot more.

If you use Android and geocache this is the app for you. One feature that is great is the integration of geocaches and the wherigo player. No more trying to find the file to open. The developer is always working to make it better. There is lots of help on the Facebook group. The setting are searchable and there is a active tutorial the pops up when you 1st open the app. You can also turn this on again in the searchable settings.

Have been slowly transitioning from c:geo to Geooh GO, and the more I use it and get used to it, the more I like it. With each update, the app seems to get more responsive. The only thing I wish is there were some YouTube videos that were available as tutorials. For me, it's a much easier way to learn an app, rather than digging through forums. Thanks for all your hard work on the app!

Subscription based crapware. This should be disallowed. They are using another company's service to make a tonload of profit.

THE Geocaching app on Android! Very intuitive and friendly to use. App developer is quick at fixing any reported issues. Get the enhanced subscription it's well worth the 💰 spent.

Like others this took a bit of getting used to as it's not as intuitive as the normal geocache app. However, it's much more powerful and worth persevering with. It also used much less battery than the official Geocaching app, as well as the location being more accurate. The only criticism I would say is that there is little explanation of all the features. It would really benefit from a wiki of some kind. For instance, an almost unforgivable omission is the fact it doesn't include footpath maps by default, you have to pay a subscription to use your own maps. Bearing in mind a lot of geocaches are in rural areas that is a major omission in my opinion. That said, email support was prompt and helpful and so I am giving five stars. Hopefully it will improve over time.

We haven't used this app yet, but buyers should know upfront that purchasing this app does not give you access to all the features. You still will need to purchase a premium subscription to access the features, which is not a problem but should be expressed prior to purchasing the app. We will update the rating once we have a chance to test the app out, but as of download, there appears to be no benefits without the subscription.

out takes 3 to 5 presses to get anywhere. cache description from map, the presses. compass or other navigation from there, 5 more presses. and the whole time it keeps dinging telling me ids of nearby catches with no ability to find them or turn off the nag. and it keeps telling me every time someone in the world finds a cache!

Awesome, there are so many things to like about the Geooh Go, near the top is owner support, whether for help or receptiveness to new additions. He is very active on the Facebook group. I love the app's tools for county hunting. The integration of Adventure Labs means I can see the stops and not have to come back to the same spot when a different lab uses the same or nearby location. I use voice recording to log. It is not a tool for beginners. It is my goto caching app!

Trying to navigate the wherigo aspect of the app. Make sure to click "save" before going to the next spot. because i didnt and when i got to the next spot had to start over and don't exit out of the app either or it will prompt a message saying there's a "problem" spent a half hour trying to do a wherigo only for there to be a "problem " which I don't know why I can't just go back to where it was saved before.

Years on and this is still my go to app. The developer is very active and is always looking for ways to continue to evolve the app as the game evolves. I'm trying to remember how far back I started using it... Got to be going on 10 years I guess! Be sure to check out the county overlay map add-on (very small fee) which is essential for county challenges!

Usually give it a month or so of use before giving any reviews on an app but I don't need to do that with this one, I'm kicking myself for not purchasing it sooner. Took some time to get everything setup the way I wanted it but that was time well spent--there are features in this app that I never knew I wanted but now I can't live without. Editing logs in app, being able to see the last 5 logs on the map screen, higher accuracy, I could go on for an hour. Absolutely love it.

I bought the app thinking that it would give me access to some helpful tools, but without a paid subscription it doesn't seem to do anything more than the regular geocaching app. It's only slightly easier to use than c:geo and not as easy to use as the regular geocaching app. I wouldn't have bought it if I realized I'd have to pay a separate subscription fee to access the features I wanted.

This was my favorite app for geocaching, but just got an email from google play that they are increasing the price for their pro subscription from $0.99/6mo to $3.49/6 months, that's an increase of over 300%, so no, I will not be renewing. Edit: I can't wait for the developer to respond to this review with some catty response about "Increasing costs" on their end.

I would like to see a confirmation screen before exiting the Geeoh GO in-progress Wherigo cartridge. I'd be several layers deep in the cartridge, needing to back out many times to get back to the top-menu screen. Several times, I'd accidentally hit the Back button once too often. Once you're back at the main menu, the Back button changes to be Exit, so all work was lost. Geeoh should prompt with "Are you sure you want to exit", or some such in order to prevent data loss.
