This game holds your hand in the worst way. You can't even look the board over without it flashing hints at you. Let me play for two seconds without telling me where a match is. You also can't disable the *extremely* and *annoying* repetitive voice lines. It's also very heavy-handed with the power-ups and in app purchases. You don't even need them. Game gets two stars instead of one for the clean art and lack of bugs.

I used to love this game. I've been at it for a couple years. The game was updated and revamped I believe earlier this year, but not a fan of it as much. Lots of ads that sometimes freeze. Also, with the changes, I am always in this elite mode challenge, but there are never any new levels. It has me replay ones I've already completed. The game can get boring and repetitive because of this. I do appreciate all the opportunities for infinite timed lives and power ups. Bring back the map, too.

It's fun for a while, but once you get to the part with the jumping snakes, it's not even fun anymore. You can play the same level for hours and it's not about skill, it's random. It sux. I deleted it because who wants to play the same level for hours. And the screen would freeze so that i couldn't play but would have to exit exit restart, which of course took another life. No other apps would freeze and my screen would still work. Just not the game.

I completed Level 16 challenge, the green check showed on the treasure chest, and I had 29 moves left, but the game froze and wouldn't accept any more clicks or advance to level 17, and I had to close it from the recent apps screen. After I restarted the game, it had not saved the Level 16 win, started the level again, and showed that it was my 2nd attempt. If your game freezes, then it should restart the level with the count as the first try since it didn't properly advance after the win.

I am absolutely in love with and hooked on this game. It is very addictive and challenging. I have it on three different devices each one at a different level. When all of my lives are done on one device, I just move on to the next device. It has crashed a few times which was annoying, but I still love it! Thanks for a great challenging way to pass the time! I played this game on my Samsung Galaxy Note5 for years. In January I went to play. All of my progress had been erased. Support was lousy!

Fun but glitchy. The game constantly freezes and I have to force stop the app just to unfreeze it. But then you lose a life. It's pretty frustrating. I even clear the cache and force stop it before I play and it still doesn't help. I don't think I should have to do that for a game. Otherwise it's fun and addicting. Cute graphics. Challenging levels.

Would be great if didn't freeze so much. Lose alot of stuff due to freezing. Otherwise would be fun game. I also lost all my boosters and customer service asked what happened and than basically just ignored me. Very disappointed....they since did reimburse me for lost items. The freezing freezing up has improved too. I do really enjoy the game. It's addicting! It is worth trying!!

The game use to be fun and fair, but now the only way you're advancing is with coin (that you have to buy) or power-ups (which are useless and barely does anything). Don't even get me started on the useless butterflies and small radius bombs. I also noticed that no matter what, the game will make terrible drops to ensure you quickly burn through your moves. On many occasions, I was stuck clearing the same three pieces all through the match. All 30 moves wasted just to get me to spend money.

This game used to be fun and relaxing. But now I get a 30 second long, annoying,, noisy commercial after EVERY level. I watch TV apps as I play, and these commercials freeze up my phone so I have to restart the apps over and over and over, missing my shows. I've had to start the game over at level 1 numerous times because it does not store my data in Googe Play, apparently. Its just not worth the stress and irritation any more.

Please consider putting a reset in this game. I'm at level 2250 and the game keeps getting buggier. I wouldn't mind starting over if I could still have the competition and rewards. Are you kidding me! Level 4142, not even a hard one, I played for 4 days, finally won and the game froze. I'm back. Now my problem is level 5450. It crashes when you hit play. It gave me an option to clear the cache. I did and it still crashed. It told me I couldn't go on until the developer fixed it.

They've sure made this game less fun. I've played for 8 years now. It was so much better before they changed it. The music was way better, the animation was INFINITELY better, and there weren't all the gosh-awful events and challenges to click through. I don't even understand all that garbage they've added. I still play, but it's not near as fun. And for heaven's sake stop making Jenni's skin darker. She's a red head! It looks wrong. Take her & Trixie back to the way they used to look!

Used to be a good game. But I think it just wants money now. Multiple times this situation or very similar happened- few moves left, and need 1 thing to win. Make and have 4-6 butterflies that are supposed to go where needed, and they go and make useless moves. So you get stuck on a level for a while. No longer fun. Too many other options out there. Uninstalled.

Just challenging enough to keep me interested, but not so difficult I lose the desire to play. Update 5 stars to 3: I started playing this game years ago. I never remember having any ads at all. I've been playing every day, several times per day over the past couple of weeks and suddenly, I've started getting ads tonight. I found it odd, but was still willing to keep playing. Until I realized I was receiving ads after each round. Honestly, I'd rather just pay for the game than deal with the ads.

Originally I gave this 5 stars because the game play was so amazing. Very challenging but do able and still so much fun. Ive changed my mind after being stuck on a hard level for over a month. The daily spinner is gone, and with it, any advantage I could get without spending money. Also, my game never loads while I'm connected to wifi. Ill get the jam city screen, and then it freezes. I might get lucky and get to the loading screen but zip after that! W/o wifi it loads perfectly, super annoying

2016: Challenges along the way. I think those bubbles are the worst obstacles! Had to reset my Android for tech issue. I was at level 234 or so, yet starting over is still lots of fun now that I'm no longer a novice! Thanks for a great game!!! 5/30/2021: I'm so happy to have found Genies & Gems again! I wondered where it went. So much has changed in the game since 2016! Wow! I love it even more! New challenges and graphics are cool. I can play this game for hours. Thank you Jam City!

I previously rated this game 5 stars. I have edited that down to 1 star because of the redesign. It sucks. The new music is THE WORST!!!!! I have to mute the game to play it. I LOVED the old theme music. The character designs are ugly. They don't even look like a decent artist rendered them. The progress map is gone. You can't see what's coming up, such as bonus levels and hard levels. The beautiful background map is gone. The background is now supposed to progress through the story of the genie and Trix but after a few panels it just regurgitates prior panels and there is no more story. The only change I like is the pick a card bonus. Also, where is the score? Why do you still have "magic time" at the end when there is no longer a score?

The game is fun, but there are way too many ads, an overabundance of asking you to join on Facebook and a high frequency of asking for purchases. I also found it irritating that the offers to watch an ad for more moves, only seemed to pop up when the goal was unattainable within those moves, like if you could finish the puzzle within 1-2 moves you would not get the offer. Instead you would get the offer (5 moves w/ad) when it would take 7-8 moves. Finally just decided to uninstall.

This is second time I down loaded game. I stopped for same reason before that I am thinking of getting rid of now. Your little fox does not count paws correctly. I have noticed when it gets a lot and one is 2 in row it only counts the 2 as 1. It's frustrating when it comes down to 1 move left and 1 more item needed. When it shouldn't have been that cuz it didn't count paws correctly. It does not correctly count "paws" it isn't that hard to understand. This is in response to your response

This is my favorite game but I'm giving a 5⭐ app 3⭐ bc I have reached a level that I see as impossible to win & I can't bypass it or haven't found a way to get helps that even come close to winning it. I don't want to uninstall but I don't want to play this level forever either & I have played some levels MANY times over b4 winning quite a few times. This one just seems to be impossible to me however. So disappointed as this is my favorite game.

There are so many issues. Passed several levels, but it just stays on screen with no movement to go to the next screen. I contacted support with no help. Now I'm on a level that requires paw prints to move the fox towards the end chest, but NO paws drop onto the screen. Literally can not win without them. I took many screenshots to prove this issue. Sent a message to support. If they do not help again, I'm deleting the app. I've been playing this game for almost 7 years. It's not cool.
