Horrible service. Cashed out of one crypto and couldn't use balance to purchase something else. Tried to withdraw the money and the system wouldn't let me do that either. Said I wasn't verified yet. I have completed all the required steps. It's been over a month and still nothing. I reached out to Gemini inquiring about the issue......no response! STAY AWAY FROM GEMINI!!!!

AVOID THIS CEX. What a horrible experience. Customer service is non-existent. After a month of waiting for verification (I'm verifed on all the other major exchanges) I'm over it. 1 auto response from "CS" After 30 days. Of course they let you buy right away, but you cannot transfer, or sell & withdraw until you're verified. You cannot close your account until you have a zeroed balance. At this point they can keep my first purchase if it means they permanently delete my info USE BINANCE/KRAKEN

Gemini is solid, secure, and has lower fees than Coinbase. The main reasons why I'm not completely switched over from Coinbase is because sometimes my fingerprint reader doesn't work so it asks me to enter my password. After entering my password correctly, the screen doesn't go anywhere but stays on the login page. There is also a noticeable 1-2 second lag when tapping on selections.

Worst crypto app I've yet used. Every update seems to slow this app down. It started off decent enough. Seems polished at first but as you use other crypto apps you find its rather simplistic abilities more and more of a negative. But the worst part is that it freezes, its unresponsive, its sluggish, and just downright clunky even though on the surface it looks polished. While perhaps the most secure/safest (allegedly), the lack of functionality and awful responsiveness makes this barely 2 stars

Terrible interface - glitchy buttons with over heightened touch sensitivity. The app logs me out while I'm logged in and seems to forget that I've already set up fingerprint ID and a pin (repeatedly asks me to set it up). Worst of all - i bought about $90 worth of ETH and it shows my balance as such everywhere but when i go to transfer it into my wallet! Absolutely avoid. I'm still waiting to hear back from customer service as to how i can get my ETH out with it showing a zero balance.

This app is good the interface is good, user friendly and visually good but I would say they don't provide live chart and its very basic it doesn't give you any advance data its a simple graph that refresh very slow i would say that they should have an option where users can select basic mode (where its just normal basic information) and an advance mode (with an advanced graph/chart with more information) i hope Gemini add this feature in future update soon would be better. thank you!

I have been using this app for almost 2 years now. Had most of my funds locked up because of the Earn Program back in November, and then i've been trying to pull whatever i had left for more than a month now to no avail. Really liked the app initially but it's been horrible ever since. Support was contacted multiple times with minimal action from their side, very disappointing

Horrific app. Easy to add money to but impossible to withdraw funds without jumping through hoops to do so (including sending them a wire transfer to verify an account). I'm already using another app and still haven't been able to get my funds back. Avoid at all costs! Update: Finally got my money back after wiring funds (cost an extra $30, though). Tried to close my account and they won't do it without contacting support. Please, please, please go anywhere else for your crypto needs.

The new price alerts subpar and are glitchy. This app was awesome before the recent update. Now the push notifications don't always show up, and the toggle switch for them some times switches itself back after you change it, or it won't change at all. This app is extremely slow. Can we get push notifications when a limit order goes through, please? Your portfolio chart is extremely inaccurate. It shows my balance fluctuating by hundreds of thousands of dollars, when I have nothing but cash.

The UI can be very slow, if you are looking at the charts. The app also seems to be unresponsive when opening at first. Gemini is not very transparent about transaction fees. You will only see the transaction fee right before you confirm the transaction. After that you won't be able to is it again. Only way you can see the fees is if you download the transaction history spreadsheet. They go out of there way to hide the transaction fees. It's better to use some other service.

Fees are some of the highest in crypto. Might be okay for hodlers, or if you get their credit card, but not if you want liquidity. Shop around. App is buggy and slow. Transactions take multiple attempts and by the time they go through the price is lower that was displayed. No limit function. Linking bank account is very difficult. I was already synced in plaid, however took several times logging into my bank, restarting both apps multiple times to complete today, it is now not showing up again.

Does not even show total purchase amount. You'd think that would be one of the main features of an investment app. I'll change my rating if they fix it. But so far you have to total everything by hand still... that's super time consuming. They probably do this because they do not want you to see the huge amount they charge you for each transaction, is my guess. And everything is extremely slow, which is extremely annoying when you want to actually trade.

Nothing but a proprietary portal to buy/sell various cryptocurrencies that allows them to make money off of yours, through fees, interest, and other financial gimmicks, just like any other bank, but even more convoluted and less helpful. Give me a secure wallet, secure access to cryptocurrencies, and the ability to send/receive securely to other wallets, vendors, etc.

If you long for the days of waiting for dial up, this app was made for you! It's so slow it's nearly inoperable, and good luck verifying your identity. If you can get it to accept photos of your ID, you'll move into limbo, where you'll wait indefinitely, with no updates or indication of when you'll be verified, or why they're having such a difficult time doing so. You can't add a bank account until you're verified, so they'll enjoy your fees if you choose to use a credit card. Garbage.

Poorly optimized in regards to the photo ID part of account setup. It only allows you to take a photo, not upload one from gallery, then gives an error message because the file size isn't small enough. I have compressed versions of the photos it is asking for in my gallery, but I can't upload them if there isn't an option to. Not buying into anything with this service if I can't get verified for withdrawals. I guess now they just have my bank info for whatever they are planning.

Do Not Use! Theft. The accept your money instantly. They refuse to release the money citing "account verification pending" AFTER 46 DAYS THEY STILL REFUSE TO RELEASE MY MONEY! I provided all required documentation as well from the very beginning. The app sucks as well. There is always qyite a lag when signing on and switching through the tabs. It also does not display correct current trading prices. Zero stars not an option, and I actually rate them in the negative. Horrible Company and app

For developer: My review says everything you need to know. I won't email you the same thing! Great service. Love the interest rates. But the app is garbage! Lag problems, freezing, wreaks havoc on cellphone OS processing. Expect your phone to freeze, lag, delay responses and constant restarts will be needed. I download the app once a day, check my portfolio, immediately uninstall it then check again the next day. You really need to find some good software developers to clean this mess up!!

This app is incredibly slow. I've tried uninstalling/re-installing to no avail. Slow as in every interaction, every touch, every tab will take seconds and seconds to resolve. Slow as in the dawn of humanity's development of electronics slow. I've never used software, including financial software in the modern world that was this slow that there wasn't something glitchy going on in the background that will eventually cause big problems. Beware.

This app was great when it started, it is now unusable. They make purchasing crypto very easy but pulling your money out after a deposit is a nightmare. The app "glitches" and fights you every step of the way. Then they only let you withdraw with major banks like Chase, Wells Fargo, Citi, etc. If you have a different bank you are SOL. Attempting to manually insert account and routing numbers results in an error message.

Currently has a really annoying bug where if you look at the settings on the Gemini Credit card, it will force Samsung Pay to open repeatedly and get in the way. I'm not sure why this is happening but it makes it impossible to change my settings. Also the available credit is extremely slow to update on their card. Other than that it's great.
