More About Geekbench 6

How will your mobile device perform when push comes to crunch? How will it compare to the newest devices on the market? Find out today with Geekbench 6.
Test the performance of your Android smartphone or tablet and compare your results with Geekbench – a leader in CPU and GPU benchmarking.

Test Your Devices
Quickly test how fast your tablets and phones are with Geekbench's trusted CPU and GPU benchmark tests.

Compare Your Results
Geekbench shows benchmark results in an easily-understood set of numbers. Your scores are automatically uploaded to Geekbench Browser where you can share & compare your scores against the newest devices on the market.

New and Updated Real-World Tests
Geekbench tests reflect how people use their devices. Instead of just crunching digits of pi for an hour or doing 80 different versions of the same task, Geekbench's tests measure tasks like how quickly a device can load an example website, render a PDF, add filters to photos, and process HDR. These tests are precisely crafted to ensure that results represent real-world use cases and workloads.

In Geekbench 6, we've added several new tests, including:
* Blurring backgrounds in video conferencing
* Removing background objects from images
* Processing text within a development workflow.

CPU Benchmark
Test your processor's single-core and multi-core power for everything from browsing the web to editing photos to playing games, or all of it at once. In Geekbench 6, new tests measure performance in popular application areas, including Artificial Intelligence, Augmented Reality, and Machine Learning, so you'll know how close your device is to the cutting edge.

GPU Compute Benchmark
Test your system's potential for gaming, image processing, or video editing with the GPU Compute Benchmark. Test your GPU's power with support for the OpenCL, Metal, and Vulkan APIs. New to Geekbench 6 is support for Machine Learning and more uniform GPU performance across platforms.

Cross-Platform
Compare apples and oranges. Or Apples and Samsungs. Designed from the ground-up for cross-platform comparisons, Geekbench allows you to compare system performance across devices, operating systems, and processor architectures. Geekbench supports Android, iOS, macOS, Windows, and Linux.

Trusted by Experts
"Geekbench is one of the easiest and fastest ones to run and will show you how your device stacks up against the competition in a few key areas" - The Verge

Awesome benchmarking tool!

Always kinda fun to run the benchmark, but the scores, though they claim its accurate across operating systems but it's clear it's not as apple made silicon (not even m1 but a series) always gets an larger score even when compared to a high end ryzen cpu.

For some reason this version does not show the Benchmark history like in version 5. Is this a bug or planned? It's nice to see the history of my device to compare across various major and minor updates of the Android OS and overlay. Thanks.

Not compatible with device on 4 out of 5 devices, benchmark apps should be compatible with as many devices as possible, used Geekbench forever but seems the newest version only works on flagship devices, guess I'll try sideloading an older version and see what is compatible

Should be called Applebench, they changed the rating system when other processes starting catching up with Apple mobile processors just to give them an edge again! Not to mention the difference in the app design! They font even bother with that on Android and PC anyone who has an eye can see that. Would give it a 0 if I could

2024/04/23. Nice app. Most of the negatives in the reviews are unfounded. To address some.of the negatives raised... 1. History is in the menu ... If it was taken away, it's back now. 2. The app stays in the foreground because you're not supposed to be running stuff in the background while doing benchmarks (SMG, really guys why don't you understand this???). No negatives.

Everything about the app is almost similar to geek bench 5 but the score shown are higher on this version also one important thing is that the there is no history option like on geek bench 5 which personally I use that option for comparing the scores hope the developer team brings it back soon

Ok gives me benchmarks and a few phones to compare. Few. As in top level phones which I know FFS I don't have. No linking to web page to compare other phones that are the same like with my laptop bemchmark app. So run this app remember/ note the number, remove app. Look online.

Best benchmarking app on Play Store. It doesn't always tell the full story but it gives you the ballpark figure of your device capabilities

Where on earth is the benchmark history? I've accidentally closed the finished run which took almost ten minutes and it's gone? Are you kidding? Where's the login button to attach the results to my account? When will you finally implement any sort of charts or comparisons? It's like you've spent 2 years doing nothing to improve this app features.

It's fine. The app is HEAVILY biased towards apple products. The 8 gen 3 scored equally or higher then apples 17 pro when it was first tested and now it seems me and others are getting scores that are 500-1000 points lower than the originally tested ones. Once it was found that apple lost, I guess there was an update that purposely made it harder for recent androids to run it. The app is heavily optimized for apple, so seeing any other device beat their scores is a genuine achievement

Usefull if you are testing brand new top of the line hardware, for anything else the score will be useless. These tests are geared towards certain devices look great. I don't believe that any of them are made fair across the board. It's too easy to bias a test like this when the testing is done I the background.

There is no history option now. Geekbench 5 had it. I tried Geekbench 6 on four phones and one tablet, and it only worked on one phone. They released this too early. I give this three stars, but if they add back the history option and this works on more phones, it'll get 5 stars.

This app must be good as all the pro power users have it to 'benchmark' various devices and only when it has finished testing the devices do you know how good they are. The app gets all the 'scores' and specs of the devices and publishes these online for all to see.!! Good application.!!

the other devices scores are very weird and inconsistent. why I can only see other pixel devices rather than every phone? Why the average scores so low compared to the videos on youtube? why pixel 10 series still don't listed despite there are thounsands of people benchmarking it?

Great app now, and well it's got history now I've only tested once so far but it's there.. and shows my p7p scores slightly better than the average p7p on both single and multi core CPU scores my GPU scores were somewhat average for my phone but yeah happy days didn't take long either like 10 mins for both or something? And all just at the click of a button happy 😁

It helps you know your phones relative performance in comparison to similar devices, however, it should show more devices from different brands with scores at the end for a better understanding. It lets you see benchmark history but not log in, but when you choose to view online, your results are automatically added to your logged in account. I don't know if it prioritises apple devices, but if that's the case, it's a shame for this app and the tech community that trust, use, or recommend it.

Let it run in offline mode!!!! This is just stupid that you NEED internet, I do not always have internet, give me a break with the rubbish.

Please add a history tab(like in Geekbench 5) and more granular settings controls. This in some ways is a downgrade from Geekbench 5. Also integration of user results from your webpage would be nice. Not sure why that's never been done. I feel like integration of global results from users would be very intuitive. Also the ability to upload results while in the app itself. Not a complete experience at all. Version 6 seems to pull it down further. The actual benchmark part of it is great though!
