This new update got rid of the discount feature, which is what I used it for. Now, instead of getting discounts on gift cards, you get "raise cash" and you pay full price for a gift card. If I'm paying full price, I'll buy direct where I don't have to wait sometimes days for processing. I'm really sad to delete this, but it's no longer useful.

Love Raise, BUT the app is HORRIBLE! If you have more then one gift card for the same merchant it tells you one card number that you may have used all the balance and when you delete that card you may in fact be deleting the one with the full balance!!! I have spent the past almost 2 hours on the website printing out all my cards and checking balances! I have many with balances that were erased due to this issue. I see I am not the only one this has happened to! SO HORRIBLE!

Used to love raise but the App & Website no longer work. Every time I try and place an order it says my cards been declined. I have tried 2 credit cards, 1 debit card, and 2 PayPal accounts. My bank has assured me my cards are fine. I've probably spent over 5 hours in the last 2 days trying to buy a gift card and save ~4$ total (25$ GC selling for 21$). With the amount of time I wasted shouldve just paid the restaurant full price. I also wouldn't have had to wait an extra 3 hours to eat dinner..

I've been unable to login to my account for weeks now. When I finally got a response to email it was just a brush off basically saying this was a "known" problem and that their team has made fixing this issue their "top priority". Their phone numbers have no one working them, it's just a recording referring you to a live chat that doesn't exisit or to send an email. These ppl are scammers who are will take your money and then lock you out of your account so you can't use your gift cards!

No matter how many times I order on here, they still take a long time to "review" my account & send gift cards. You would think that after using this app for a year, i would finally enjoy the benefits of waiting less than an hour for email delivery. Oh well, maybe next year I'll finally be trusted enough to get a card delivered within half an hour. One can only hope!

It doesn't always allow a purchase to go through. When I started using this app, I never had any issues. Now I never know what's going to happen. I had 1 Amazon card & 5 Target cards, but for some reason only the Amazon card was purchased & when I try the Target cards I get "Please check your account to see if your order went through before trying again." The AI was no help. So I have to wait 48 hours for a team member. It's strange that it picked apart my order to only allow Amazon to process.

They charged my card, but there showed errors on the app saying "try another card." But looking at my account, it had already been charged! I tried going to the help section but that was having errors too. Honestly, for 50 cents off, it's not worth it. Not to mention, how you can't choose a specific amount to search. You have to scroll forever to find the amount you want.

Hate it! It was working fine. Changed my password and now, I can't logged back in. Keep telling me my password is incorrect but I'm able to log in on the web browser. Very inconvenient!! Call customer service 2x and was told that everything is working "correctly" on their end. Was asked to uninstalled the app and reinstalled. Did it numerous times, and I'm still not able to log in! Very frustrating because I have alot of giftcards to use!!!

I have consistently used Raise for years now, and as another reviewer mentioned, even if you don't save a lot on one card, using regularly saves over time! However, sometimes a great deal on one card comes along, too. One downside is that they don't have the sales they used to have for extra discounts. The ability to send electronic gift cards as gifts is a great feature! I use Raise regularly for stores and restaurants I frequent, especially during holiday and birthday celebrating seasons.

Used to love this app. I didn't use it constantly, but always turned to it when I wanted to save some money on things like Netflix. I went to sign in today and am locked out of my account and told to contact them. So I come here first to see if maybe there is anyone else is having the same problem due to an update maybe and see that their reviews have dropped severely, and read a bunch of comments, and have decided not to bother contacting them, and have just Uninstalled the app.

Last week I read about Raise on a search to use PayPal on Amazon. I bought some Amazon gift cards and within 5 minutes I was able to use them, no problem. Then I updated Raise. Totally unusable, I can't sign in and am repeatedly booted or sent back to the start page. Even after reinstalling app and restarting phone I get an error message every time I click on app. Since it's holiday season I don't have time to mess with this. Wish I never chose to Update. Uninstalling for good.

I'm a long time raise customer. You need to do a better job at vetting your app updates. The recent update has caused a never-ending crash loop. Every attempt to open the app results in a crash. Now I can't access any of the gift cards that I've already purchased. This is unacceptable. I have uninstalled and reinstalled as well as cleared cache and data and nothing works. The app is now nothing more than a crash factory. #disappointed

Great Deals, but the app SUCKS! I buy Amazon gift cards at a discount every time I order from them, but especially recently, the app has increasingly become more of a headache to use. One really weird one is that it sends me a One-time SMS Code every time I open the app. Not sign in, OPEN THE APP. It is supremely annoying.

The latest update is causing the search bar to be in the top of my screen where I cannot click on it and the "use this card" button to be on the bottom of my screen where I can not use it. hopefully they fix the issues. Also charging a fee for every purchase is making me only use it for cards discounts that are higher than 15% and will cause me to have less and less use for this app.

I've bought over $20,000 in gift cards the last 6 or 7 years... and I just noticed today they added a platform fee which is just stupid.... it's not hard to include your fee with the discount... it's not rocket science and just makes the user experience worse and people like me not to buy as much. take an extra 1.5% off what you give to the seller.. or just easily add it into your advertised discount percentage... trying to be slick and deceiving never really go well with companies...

What did they do to this app, been using it for 6 years and never had an issue. Now they have taken away the group sort function of my purchased gift cards, the discounts since February are awful, and now they are charging a fee when purchasing. This is absolutely awful, it's the beginning of the end for this platform unless they turn things around quick.

They don't have any customer support other than an AI chat. After using the app for at least 8 years, for the first time, they all of a sudden decide that I need a verification code to login. Problem is they arent sending a text and according to the AI chat, it's my fault and i need to buy a new phone. (How about a phone call or email with verification code). Some incredibly stupid people are running this app. After emailing with support, it may be worst then the AI chat bot, completely useless.

As of 7/23/2025, to use a gift card, you have to turn on gesture navigation mode. Otherwise, the traditional navigation buttons block the "use this card" button. It should be fixed. A temporal solution is to click the blue and white boundary edge of the far left or right part of the blue button. Or, just turn on the gesture navigation mode to remove the navigation buttons.

BUYER BEWARE!! FRAUDULENT APP!! DO NOT DOWNLOAD!! They ask you for all of your payment and personal information during checkout when you try to purchase a gift card, then they lock your account when you try to pay. When you try to unlock it, they expect you to upload your picture id and sign an authorization for them to run a credit check. This also happened to a friend of mine. It's a total scam. This fraudulent app deserves no stars and should be removed from the PlayStore.
