it was a lot better before you "fixed" it and "improved" it. Go back to the previous version. Now it zooms in whether you want it to or not - makes it damned hard to locate a station, especially if you are on the road and trying to find fuel - you have to stop to deal with the "improved" version

App does not act right when your searching for cheapest gas prices. You scroll to look, and the map takes you back to where you were. It also omits results for no reason. I have to close the app and restart multiple times before I see the gas stations I want. Overall, I'm unsatisfied.

Prices are 5 days out of date. No longer lets you scroll along your route without constantly having to refresh to get all the prices. Getting worse with every update. Won't display prices based on my location any more and when I try to zoom it changes location and zooms back out. Now giving prices from 152 days ago. May as well free up the space on my phone.

I travel frequently by car for business and find this app invaluable. Information on pricing is almost always accurate or very close. Very excited about the new filter by brand as it will save me a lot of time. I try to fill up when I can at stations where I belong to their loyalty program so I can save a few cents per gallon. It's been a challenge sorting thru options to find one.

Not bad, but prices are not updated often enough!!!! When you get to the gas station, prices have changed!! It's frustrating!!! now if they updated the prices every hour, THEN they would have a 5 star app. Also closed stations are listed, even though they are closed for construction and not even open for business!! lol

The gas station near me, with the lowest prices more often than not, was missing, as were others. And the different grades need octane numbers ... after all, the meaning of terms like midgrade can change (and have done so locally), but it's the number that matters when getting the right gas to match your car's timing (as specified in the owners manual).

I'm not sure where (or even if) we as a customer, can change the prices of gas because the listed prices listed are false. And prices listed are from 2 days ago, so either app is asleep at the switch or slow in seeing the price changes. I expected to get gas at a certain price, only to see it had changed 40 cents higher than posted. Some assistance with this would be appreciated.

Update: Changing from 4 stars to 2. Very buggy if location not enabled on phone. Raises privacy concerns. ***** Decent. I just uninstalled GasBuddy, which was great in its heyday, but grew unusable. GasGuru works pretty well for finding cheapest gas. It lets you enter a town or zip code and move around the map and see prices for different fuel grades, which is probably what most of us want. Some prices a bit out of date.

App worked great until a few months back. For some reason all of the prices are inaccurate and do not reflect my local market. I'm not sure if this is a bug or what, but the software is definitely broken. I am in the Denver CO area. It's sad because this app used to be great. One day all of the prices in my area were reflected as .40 to .50 higher than what the pump is actually offering. Hopefully the devs read this and fix it up.

1. INACCURATE. E. g. 1.95 when real price is 2.17. 50% of time it reports LOWER than actual 2.Broken feature, unrepaired despite MANY reports:when you tap on a station it places address in Google Maps so Maps can navigate you there. Magnificent in theory but if you are already navigating in Maps just gets error message. It SHOULD allow "add stop." Because the programmers for whatever reason do not act on this, you have to visually read fine print and type it into Maps. While driving! Incompetent

Better than GasBuddy, less Ads, and truly sort by price if I choose this option(not keep sponsored brands always on the top of the list like GasBuddy). Do NOT give it a higher score is because it lists a Sunoco near me on top of the list as the "lowest price" which was last updated 206 days ago. I will definitely give it a higher rating if it can move these gas stations with data older than 2 or 3 days to the bottom of the list.

2 times in 2 days, you have misdirected us, and thankful we weren't desperate and fully relying on you! Besides the fact, that when someone tries to enlarge the map a wee-bit, you get sent to a completely different state! All this, not to mention how many times the app keeps crashing, one would think you were working out of a 3rd world country!! You should NOT be allowed have this app accessible to anyone, since you are misdirecting travelers!

App controls it's self, does,not like you to move around the map or zoom. It recenters it's self away from the area you wish to look. Then it stops loading gas stations when you are finally able to get it to the area of the map you want. Won't allow you to move around on the map view to look at gas prices in the next town ahead while trip planning.

It's good lots of the time, but there has been several times that it didn't do me any good at all. Location wouldn't work. Has taken me to places that didn't exist. Nothing was at the location it took me to . The interface should work faster and more fluid also, I've tried to " update " the prices and it doesn't change. I'm at the location, looking at the price written in numbers that are 5 feet tall 2.359 not the 2.22 as shown in the app.

Circled blue dot icon in map (to reposition to your current location) doesn't do anything. I move the map across the state to check an on-route city but tapping the blue circle does not move the map to my current location. Have to enter a location and then pick "Current location". Some stations show regular price when listing is filtered to show premium. Also, no settings, so had to disable all notifications in OS for this app to get rid of this app's notifications spamming this app.

As of 2019-04-23, this app is the best for finding gas prices... it's to the point and it let's you save favorites... then, simply click on your favorites button (the heart icon) and immediately you see the best prices among them. Other apps offer too much (like Gasbody) and relies on user imput for gas price updates. This one gets the latest prices on it's own. It lets you select the brand and quality you are searching for too... clean, fast, free, easy to use, logical... the best.

Works fine for its intended use, which, is finding out gas prices at different gas stations near you. The app crashes every time I try to manually enter a different location though; it might be my phone, am running Android 7.1.1 Update* App seems to be working fine now, although, am now running 5.0 loli on my gs5. While I don't remember seeing any ads in the earliest versions of the app, they have implemented ads on current versions now. App is great and works as intended but addition of ads =-2

This app needs 2 things: 1. A reload button on the maps screen. I hate having to zoom out or move the map to get it to reload. 2. It needs to compare the lowest pricest in the whole area of the screen when you zoom out. Zooming out just showes you gas stations in the middlen of your screen. Instead it should increase the radius that you search, showing you the lowest prices on the map. Please make these improvements!

The one nit for this awesome app first: wish the app opened on your current location rather than the previous...little hard sometimes to find "the blue dot" if you haven't opened it for a few hours. Otherwise, This is the little app that could. It has saved me a lot of dough and it does a great job with current prices, which i actually think must be kind of hard to do. Anyway, I'm not dinging any points because this is absolutely one of the most useful apps you can have on your phone! 👍👍👍

This was my go-to app for gas prices since 2016 and I had at least 15 -20 stations in my favorites list of that I frequent across 4 states. But sometime in Sept 2024 the app lost all my favorites and now won't allow saving a station - the add (heart icon) doesn't work no matter which screen you tap it from. I sent message to support but never received a reply. I'm really disappointed.
