More About Game Creator
With Game Creator you can create your own games on your android tablet or phone.
It works just out of the box, you do not need to install third party plugins or other software.
NO programming or scripting is required.
BEFORE YOU BUY
Please note that this is not a professional game creation tool. You cannot create commercial games, and the app DOES NOT EXPORT APK. This is a simple but powerful tool with lots of great features and easy to use functions and a friendly interface. You can enjoy creating your own games, drawing characters, composing music, building your levels, interacting with monsters and enemies, etc. but if you are about to make a commercial quality AAA game, this might not be the app you are looking for. Please try the demo first.

BUILT-IN TOOLS
Game Creator has all the tools you need to build your game:
- Sprite Editor - create single or animated graphics items
- Object Editor - define the game objects or actors (enemies, monsters, etc) and set their behavior
- Level Editor - place your objects and craft the playing areas
- Song Maker - compose background music

SHARE
Once your game is ready, publish it on our Game Server, so other Game Creator users can download and play with your creations. Games are stored for one year. Demo games are stored for 2 months. If you want to move your demo game from the Demo section to the Live Public section, please delete your demo game from the Game Server , remove "demo", "test", "beta" words from the game title and re-publish the final game again.
It is NOT possible to export games as a stand alone APK.

I personally do not like this update I like the idea of trying to make the Sprites accessible for everyone via cloud space. By having access IDs and things and such. But that's the problem since I can't actually copy the ID. I have to actually remember what the number is.. and not only that it's insulting that it still looks through your files but you can't import your Sprites like the old way. I'm not using this app again until it actually fixes this.

It's great! The tools are pretty easy to understand, and the sprite editor is simple yet powerful! I used to use this a while back and even uploaded my own games. But, once I reinstalled the game on a different device a couple of years later, I couldn't find any of the games I made.I haven't seen any mention of servers deleting games. If anybody knows anything about what I can do, please let me know!

This app really needs a update 1. It's sometimes kicks me out for no reason 2. There are many bugs in it 3. The sound selection is limited 4. The looks out it look likes 2012 5. It would be cool if there was custom pallets and some you can download 6. The music maker is also limited 7. It also be cool if there was more fonts and custom fonts as well 8. I would like a feature where has advanced or basic UI and cutscenes 9. Last but not least the import images suck. But overall not bad

I really like this app, it's simple to make quick little games to play when you're bored. However, I have a couple criticisms. First, just get first of limits on things like health, there isn't really point to do it. Second, update the Tower Defense genre, such as adding things like damage over times or slowness effects, and definitely make it so you can send multiple types of enemies in a wave. That get irritating having to make a bunch of entrances. Overall a great app though.

Great, but you need to fix a bug... that whenever you type something, for Example, whenever I type down a amount of health in a (settings) it always freezes and it's a race for me back to the menu. I would also like more game genres, and better and more options for specific genres, for example, when you get hit in a platformer, you change into a different sprite until you get an item (key, collectable; etc) to regain your first sprite, or for example again, taller or non-injured. Please respond

Amazing app. Very Unique. Very Fun. But I have a few critiques. Since it seems like you guys are still actively updating this game once again, I believe you should add some stuff to tower defense. There is so much you can do with that genre than what is actually available. I think that you guys should definitely add different effects that towers can do to enemies. Such as slowness, freezing them, explosion damage, and even the ability for the projectile to hit multiple units on the screen. This would add so much game play ability for the creators and it would definitely help make tower defense the genre that it should and could definitely be. You should also allow us creators to send multiple types of units in one entrance. Placing multiple entrances to add a multitude of enemies can get extremely frustrating and is very time consuming because we have to scroll through so many waves. You should also take off health, damage, cost, and even the money caps on entrances. This will make gameplay so much more advances and unique allowing the creators to come up with their specific values they need for their games. If they want to have a boss that has a million health and a tower that does a million damage, let them do it. I can see this drawing so many more people to the tower defense subject and making some insanely amazing games. Keep it up guys. You have an amazing app here and it runs really smooth for being on a phone. You guys are a great company and this app is so unique. Keep on updating it to be the best that it can be and I promise you it will blow up at some point. It is so fun.

The game has been receiving awesome updates recently, but I do not understand how to use the "cloud image" function. Each time I click it, it says "Please activate YOU device." (Spelling error intentional.) Please go back to the original function, as the cloud image export is too confusing to go through. There is also an option to import games from old versions of game creator, but no such option is anywhere to be found. Thanks for reading.

Hey Silent Works! The app is great for making simple games on your phone! But, editing levels can be a struggle while trying to avoid overlapping tiles while moving the screen in order to continue making levels. If there were a way to make the leveling process easier, that would be great! Also, the sprite editor is the best I've seen on the market. If there were a way to export the sprites to image files, that would allow for adapting your game to other platforms. Hope to see export options! TY!

The app is great! Really fun and after tutorial videos it is easy to use. As of right now though the app is crashing with an error code and hope this gets fixed soon. Here also are a few things I would want to see changed before I give it a higher rating... The sound selection is quite limited, please add more sound selection. The limitation of points for certain objects should increase. The ability for a block object to also move up and down and not just left to right.

there is one problem. I once was almost done making a game and I was going to type something. Somehow I pressed the font options but surprisingly it worked. Then the game froze more than usual so I exited the app and came back. The game deleted all the sprites and objects. There were no levels (not even the preset levels like the title level) All of the colors were black. Do you know what error this is because it never gave me a error code. But its a great app. I use it until I get a real engine

Nice and easy to use, but I have suggestions. These are some of them. 1. More movement options for enemies and monsters, like jumping. 2. The ability to make slightly more complex enemy behaviors via adding more than one attack or projectile. 3. Water tiles. 4. More player movement options, like crouching, climbing and maybe a grappling hook or a dash attack, that could help spice up the game play. 5. Parallax Backgrounds. 6. Metroidvania genre. 7. An expanded music maker. 8. Ice tiles.

It's perfect. I've done alot in it over the past year however I took one star off just because recently it has been crashing a lot. It's strange. It mostly happens when I'm editing sprites but it does occasionaly crash and kick me out when I'm on the menu or playing the game. I hope this gets your attention because I love this engine and this weird bug is making it very hard to work on my projects! Thanks! Much love! UPDATE: I'm starting to get impatient. It"s impossible to do anything. FIX IT

I love the app, But currently there is a bug that is heavily effecting my ability to create. Whenever i have a large amount of blocks/objects, The game starts to get laggier, I would usually expect this but the lag from one level carries to the next until eventually the entire game is so laggy i cannot be played. Also unrelated to the lag, The create side of the app can crash at any time, Usually after i tap something, But sometimes it will just crash on its own. Please fix it, Silentworks.

This app is the best for making games on mobile, but there's a bug where the background moves when it's supposed to be fixed in place. Also, I would suggest adding a parallax scrolling option. The biggest issue with this app is everything temporarily freezing whenever text is edited or values are changed. Is this what you meant by the sprite refreshing issue? Minus 1 star because the tilt option is way too sensitive, and for some reason, double tapping doesn't work anymore!

Wow! Such a good game engine! No coding, and some people push the limits of it, (Like myself, my GC is Amazonite Game Studio) but what really bothers me (Why I rate it 3 stars) is the new report and warn system and that the engine crashes at random times, (Most specifically in the sprite editor) which annoys me a lot. Please fix the crashing and I might change my rating to 4 stars.

I've downloaded and used this app for several years, off and on. I always hoped it would be improved and updated. I am glad the team has been putting some love into it lately. With enough improvements it could be something great. At the time being, it is passable and fun, but not quite great. I have had a lot of good times as well as frustrating times using it, and I don't plan to stop.

Very good way to let out some of your creativity, however, there are a couple things bothering me. One, is whenever a text box is opened, the game freezes. A lot of people have been talking about this problem. But another problem I ran into seemed to only be happening to me. Some of my objects I place in levels will randomly shift diagonally, but when I fix it, they shift the other way. I don't know if other people are experiencing this, but it isn't that big of a deal... Still a really fun app.

I love this app except I'm very frustrated with it now. I was creating a knock off version of SNES gradius that had over 800 sprites and then all of the sudden for no reason all of my sprite data was gone. I backed up my phone multiple times but it won't let me access the files at all I'm destroyed inside. All the game mechanics are still there, but none of my original art... Deeply saddened. Also made a Tower defense Game. Problems aside, otherwise I love this App.

Awesome game creator. Loaded with great features. I have 3 suggestions: 1) Restore the original import images feature app had. Currently can't search device folders for images. Internet access required to import from server. Can't update now because I will lose the original import feature my app has. 2) Make switches that can be reset, so they can be reused. 3) Add a switch or block that allows monsters to appear randomly on screen (like Gauntlet's monster generator) thxs!

This is the best beginner friendly and advanced game creation engine I've ever used, but there are some setbacks. Platformer: Allow us to make alternate characters so we don't have to make multiple levels where you play as said alt character. Allow us to make simple cutscenes by manipulating the camera. Racer: similarily to platformer. Allow us to make more playable cars, as well as actually defining the ai paths and checkpoint ourselves by just drawing them. Music: Allow us to export it.
