The latest update gives me the option of creating an avatar. I don't want to do that, but even if I try to create one, the screen stays frozen. I cannot access my photos because the screen is frozen on the avatar command. Help!!!

Edit: My favourite app gallery now! No ads, no lagging, easy to use, minimalistic and good quality of video (refresh rate). You can improve by adding features to sort the album because it is hard to find a specific album.

After update it was working but when clicked on MagicAI it stopped working. Also if there is a debug version then please let us know. This will help you track down the error.

I've been looking for a good gallery app and tried many. Some don't have the simplest things like cropping and some cannot play all types of videos. Eventually, I came across this one and at the first sight it can be understood how rich this app is. Install and enjoy!

Since the AI update, it has become useless. I can't do anything with it. I already contacted the developer, and they suggested that I should clear the data and cache. I did that, reinstalled it, and restarted my phone too, but it still doesn't work. I don't need AI in this app. Today, I received a warning from my phone that this app is draining my battery. I will uninstall it until the developers remove the AI and solve the problem. I will change the rating later. Too bad.

What have you done with this once easy to use, awesome app? I've been a happy user for years now, but over the past couple of weeks the editing functions are all messed up! You've jumbled crop and rotation in together and now neither works. Keep getting sent into a loop of choosing a location to save it, but nothing is ever saved. And then instead of opening your app to seeing my photos, I'm stuck in the file manager trying to find your usual layout. It's no longer simple or good to use. 😕

Some nice features like sub-catagorizing photos within each folder by date; however, none of the folders are in alphabetical order nor is there an option to do so. It's a bit jarring moving from my other gallery app (which decided to drop a freakin' paywall for their "free app"). Other than that, so far so good! 👍🏼

This has got to be the worst gallery app ever! It constantly makes duplicates of my photos, it constantly redownloads all of my pics that are backed up on Google after I've deleted them, it puts timestamps on some of my pics anywhere from 1970 all the way up to 2120! If that ain't bad enough, now it freezes every time I open the app after 30 seconds! I've tried doing a force stop on it, clearing the cache and data, it still freezes! I would give this app 0 stars if I could. THIS APP SUCKS.

Glad to have the prob fixed. A happy user. :) APP UNABLE TO SELECT ROOT FOLDER, NOT SAVING EDITED PICTURES. I sent email of the problem. The name says it, best and ad free. I'm enjoying this app great job, a simple practical gallery. Haven't had any problems or seen any ads, editing pics is easy and you can retrieve deleted items from trash IF you haven't cleaned out that folder, that has saved me often.

This has promise. However, it's missing a number of critical features. For example, you can't rotate images. How is this possible? This is a BASIC requirement for any gallery app. In addition, thumbnails are cropped so that they're all square, but I want an option to show complete thumbnails so that I can properly see what each image is without having to open it. Also, as of the time of this review, the app hasn't been updated in more than a year.

A major bug was introduced over the last month for this program. I love using gallery, but this bug is so bad that it's causing me to use other programs. For the developers, the bug is when you want to edit an image, screenshot or photo, the editing feature opens up a split screen of another active window. You are unable to manipulate the image at all even after closing that window of the other application. So in effect you can't edit it...

This was just what I wanted when I installed it, however it is currently unusable. In the last few weeks the edit feature has stopped working. Now when I try to edit a split screen opens with whatever other open apps I may have and then I can't get out of it or make edits. It is very frustrating. I edit most of my pictures for one reason or another.

I've been looking for a new gallery app and this exceeds all expectations, great job. It's smooth, the ui is great and I like how it's set up. The only thing I'd recommend is updating the transition when you delete multiple pictures at once, it's a little off putting first glance but overall this is an amazing app. I'd definitely recommend.

This is a perfect replacement for the gallery that was on my Droid Turbo 2. Has several different sort features and some simple editing features. Allows me to draw on pictures which is a handy feature for sharing illustrated photos with others. I tried many galleries before this one and this is the best one to meet my needs. I found that many galleries don't allow you to draw on photos.

Great ad-free free gallery going from Samsung's gallery to a Pixel 2 XL with nothing but Google photos pre-installed. An issue to keep in mind though is when playing videos from within the gallery, they start 1-2 seconds in every time and pausing and rewinding doesn't help (bad for short videos). It's annoying to have to use another app to play videos, which you can't do from within the gallery (another gripe). To get around this, you have to go into another app and find the video manually.

Great app; fast, sleek, and powerful. But, the swipe up function gets convoluted and annoying when used in conjunction with Android's navigation gestures. At first, I tried to ignore it. But time after time, that one gesture messed with my usage of the app when moving in-between that and other apps. And, trust, I multitask a lot, so this really messes with my overall functioning. I, eventually, just stopped using the app, and replaced it with a much slower, but simple app.

This is actually the only gallery application that I find very comfy and easy to use without ads or glitches. However, there's a problem with the videos' date. the app sets the date wrong and it makes my new videos disappear to my old videos which annoys me a lot as somebody who likes organizing and it makes me forget about these new videos because they're not in the front row, please fix this problem..
