CANT UPDATE MY WATCH ANYMORE. BEEN WEEKS NOW. 🗑️ EDIT : Your "fix" to get the watch to work does absolutely nothing, I finally figured out how to get the watch to work again (no thanks to Samsung) I reset the watch entirely, uninstalled all the Samsung apps. Reinstalled everything as if it was when I first got the watch. Then go to the app store and TURN OFF auto updates for both of the Samsung apps and plugins. I'll wait till they do another update, so I can make sure It actually works 🤦‍♂️

Works pretty well I have a Galaxy Watch 4 and Pixel 7 Pro. Everything works fine for the most part, but everytime I get a call, the notification on the watch says "Emergency Call" as the callers name. This is while connected to LTE on the watch and my phone, as well as the connected to each other. Not sure where the problem stems from. Other than that everything seems flawless.

I am also experiencing the app interfering with every single other app that I try to use. It shows a white screen and then goes away. I never had this problem until last week when I had to completely start all over again with setting up my watch with my phone. It said that I got a new phone and I actually hadn't. I know it is this app that's causing the problem so, I tried uninstalling the app and now, I have to go through the entire setup process again. Very frustrating.

Every few weeks, my phone (LG V20) randomly disconnects from my Galaxy Watch4, and won't reconnect. I can manually connect my watch to "call audio" in bluetooth, but this app says it can't connect to my watch. I've tried disabling call audio, unpairing (which resets the watch and you lose all your data), rebooting phone and watch, turning off and on bluetooth on both devices.. nothing works. It gets in this "stuck" state. Restoring settings is incomplete. The default watch face sucks.

Please fix whatever glitch is causing the smart watch to randomly disconnect and not be able to reconnect without completely resetting the watch/reinstalling the app. Fortunately i had all my needed data backed up already. The watch and features are otherwise pretty cool and this is my first smart watch. As a P.T. readings aren't 100% accurate but close/consistent enough that i like using the sleep/O2/fitness tracking to help me keep track of activities that produce the best quality sleep.

Thanks for advice to return Galaxy Watch 4. My experience was just like the others, except it was worse. After 5 weeks of OK usage, somehow the watch and phone would not reconnect. In this case, Samsung REQUIRES reset watch. So you will lose 100% watch history. when I attempted to do a clean reconnect, watch fails to communicate with phone. And if that wasn't enough, Pixel phone seems to be affected, upon rebooting phone won't restart, misreading % of battery charge.....

1/28. Update last week didn't work. It may have decreased it a bit but it's still opening on its own repeatedly. Same issue opening over other apps that others are having. Permissions and uninstall/reinstall don't work. It is now messing with the keyboard in apps not allowing me to select characters or inputting something else after the flash. Is this a way to push to newer models?

Constantly dropping and requiring resets. Have to uninstall and reinstall the plugin and the app in order to get a stable enough connection to perform a setup. It seems like the new Android Update was the start of the issues, or whenever this app updated last. Absolutely not worth owning a Galaxy watch if this is the performance the consumer can expect. Worked great for almost a year until this.

Constant failure. The watch inevitably disconnects from the software and makes you do a fresh install. Even the fresh install is a gamble, with the app sometimes unable to sync Google accounts or even Samsung accounts. A great piece of hardware that's inhibited by programming incompetence—bordering outright negligence. Sadly, this is the same story of almost every Samsung device I've ever owned.

App fails to open even after multiple restarts, installs or updates. It's been like this for a few months now. Samsung is really disappointing the Galaxy Watch users now. I am unable to connect my watch for a long time and at this point I having second thoughts of switching to different brand. And also, "Fixed the error"- what kind of software engineer writes a description like this? The error existing after a fix probably explains that.

I keep having the same issues that other people are stating. The app will flash open briefly with a white screen and interrupt other running apps. Turning permissions off doesn't seem to help. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall and it still is happening. I hope there is a fix to this issue. I have uninstalled the app and can only use my galaxy 4 watch to tell time. Very disappointing.

The plug in keeps popping up and then it vanishes. It keeps interrupting what ever I'm doing. It happens in 10 sec intervals, my phone is not fully functional with this. I am aware that Samsung what's to follow apples steps with the whole ecosystem, but come on be equal. Samsung should have purchased android when it was offered to them, lost the change so get with the program. Fix this, fix everything you make, make it compatible 😡

Terrible watch and app. The battery only lasts about 7hrs and then I have to recharge it. Ever since daylight savings it won't update the time and everytime I try update the app it says error, error fixed and then it tells me to enable the watch to update the app. Which it refuses to do. Thanks for the expensive paper weight. Switching to the the IPhone. Thanks for making this a simple decision Samsung.

1-10-24 The issue is NOT fixed. 12-30-23 The app is opening over other apps. It just randomly pops up and then goes away but leaves a notification that the app is open. When you click on it there's nothing there. Close out the notification and the app and it quickly flashes back up again and stops whatever app I'm using at the moment. And it does this repeatedly over and over and over again in a short span of time. Apparently ppl have had this issue for months with no resolve.

I had a Galaxy 3 watch that was great. Updated to Galaxy 4, but stopped using a Galaxy phone (too buggy). Watch support for Galaxy 4 is not as good as the Galaxy 3. (Even Samsung phone users report this.) The watch stopped syncing with my Google Pixel many months ago, but I was still able to use it. Updates have left it less functional, but now it is useless: won't connect to the phone anymore. This update won't even install on my Pixel 7 Pro.

App keeps crashing and disconnecting. I'm not sure if it's a glitch with the recent update because this hasn't happened to me until now. I keep getting pop up messages that this app has crashed, then it connects, then disconnects, and the pop up comes up again. It shows for like 0.5 seconds, and happens again and again. Ive tried restarting the phone, clearing cache, and hard restarting watch. In 20 mins i lose 10% battery power

Massive failure. This plugin app is needed for the new Galaxy Watch 4 but it continually crashes when trying to connect to a mobile plan. Just the fact that the whole thing is set up so that the only way to activate the mobile plan is through this app/plugin is a fail. And then not having it ready to work with the phones that are supposedly compatible is even worse. Very disappointed in Samsung.

Constantly disconnects and I have to reset my watch to go through the entire setup process all over again EVERY time. Absolutely ridiculous, I never had that issue with my Active 2 and this phone (Motorola Z stylus 2021). And on top of it, the backup doesn't even correctly restore the settings to what they were, so you have to start from scratch. Every. Single. Time.

I think it's kinda poor that there are certain features and readings that don't happen on non Samsung phones. Also I had a really difficult time initially starting the device. The installation would stop and not progress further. Also, I cannot install new watch faces now because it says I have a "network problem" but my connections are working perfectly. I understand it's a new OS but I expected better from a "co developed" Google and Samsung OS.

Not sure if it's the plugin or the wear app, but something keeps interrupting actions on the phone with a white screen flash. It does it often enough to be annoying and when you open up all apps, it's always the wear app running trying to interfere with everything. I've heard others say it's been doing it with the 4classic, and that's what I have too.
