if you a have a non-Samsung phone running Android Pie 9.0 and a Galaxy Watch, you are likely to have major issues with this app and synchronisation with your watch. The hardware seems to work OK (ie Bluetooth.....but drops out regularly) but the app has issues staying connected: rebooting the phone works for a short time but app stops "talking" to the watch after just an hour or so (even though connected via Bluetooth). Also possibly related is my watch OS has updated from Tizen to newer UI One.

After the recent update of this app my phone battery started draining very rapidly. I restricted the background app usage on battery, still no use. If I stop the app the I no longer get notifications. The new UI is also bad, it no longer shows the watch battery status, storage and RAM usage in single view. The older version was stable. SAMSUNG, PLEASE FIX ASAP.

This app is simply useless. The phone keeps on getting disconnected from the watch every now and then. And when I try to connect it again it shows error messages. Seems I have wasted a ton of money on the watch. Most of the functions of the watch cannot be used when it is disconnected from the phone. A serious bug in the plugin or product image it seems.

App has become unstable, screen comes up to update, goes to Play where it just states "uninstall" as that only option, do you do that and scenario starts again in an endless loop. It does seem that Samsung have a lot of app issues because there's often problems uploading data from my watch and then the sync to Strava is somewhat variable too, working sporadically. What a shame because I like the Galaxy Watch.

In the past everything was OK, but today, when I start the APP, I had 2 options, 1st is closing the APP, 2nd one is updating, I selected updating, and the play-store expresses that the app is the last version. How can I solve this problem without losing any data? I think a 3rd option should have been available like "Accept the risk and continue with the current version"

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. After the latest plugin update, I got a notification that kindly reset your watch before connecting on the same old phone. I thought that I will lose my step data. It won't let me connect to my phone at 11:00 pm in the night. But instead of resetting the watch and lose my 1.5 year streak, I decided to download a previous version apk from Google and guess what, it synced all my data immediately and the error message was gone. Updated: all issues fixed

My galaxy watch keeps disconnecting from my phone the moment I open any app on the phone. It cannot stay connected whatsoever. This can't be right... I have tried unpairing, closing-reopenning bluetooth on phone a d watch, factory reset for the watch, deleting and re-installing all the relevant samsung apps. Nothing works, it will stay disconnected for the most part of the day. Should probably switch back to good old reliable swatch watches and leave those smart devils behind.

Since latest update my phone battery is draining really fast and the plug in is causing it. Shows at the top of the battery usage list. -------------------- The above review was left over a year ago. Phone is still disconnecting from watch regularly and when it is connected the battery is draining so quickly the phone is unusable! I loved the watch but this has really ruined my experience with Samsung devices. It isn't as if I'm the only one. Read the reviews Samsung and fix these problems!!!!!

I absolutely do not understand what is going on with this app. Nevertheless I am updating an app regularly, the second time in a row the app just shuts down and tells me to update. When selecting an uptade in the store, there is no update, just a button to uninstall an app. A few days ago I just uninstalled the app, then reinstalled it, done all the watch pairing and so on. And now again the story repeats, the same crazy message for an update and completely incomprehensible stuf.

The app doesn't keep the watch connected to the phone. If you step out of the Bluetooth range, your phone will disconnect from the watch, and once you come close to the phone again, the app wouldn't reconnect automatically so you will miss your notifications without knowing it. This was not a case with Samsung S8, so it looks like Samsung wants you to force-buy Samsung phones to use with the Samsung watch. Not a good practice.

Does not work. When I launch Galaxy Wearable from my phone, it forces me to update the app. I press update, then Google Play states that it's already installed. It keeps going round in circles. But the Bluetooth connection appears to be working. I just can't do anything with it. There are many complaints about this iteration of the app, it requires an urgent fix.

App has worked flawlessly for me until the latest update which broke SMS notifications. Still receive email and voice call notifications, but new text messages are now only displayed on the phone. Have uninstalled/reinstalled this app , related apps, and reset/reconfigured watch twice with no improvement. All required permissions are allowed. Help! - edit - Fixed by uninstalling this latest update, then rolling back to the March 28 2.2.05.19032551 release and resetting the watch. Issue still needs attention.

8/29/22 Twice in the last 3 days the app has failed to open saying I have to update, but selecting the update button only gives an option to uninstall. I did that the first time and reinstalled which then forced me to have to reset my watch and reinstall everything from backup. I'm waiting to hear from customer support before I try fixing this again. 8/31/22 Added additional star to my review because they seem to have fixed the bug. No notification given of the fix or I would've rated higher.

ANDROID 10: App crashes on Android 10 & causes MASSIVE battery drain on both watch & phone. Watch battery used to only lose 10-15% per day. Now, the watch drains completely in just a few hours. Watch & phone battery performance returned to normal after deleting app. I also get Android pop up notifications that the Samsung Pay app has crashed, over & over again. The other day, the altim-barometer tried syncing for several hours. I had to finally force kill the app. Hope it gets fixed. Please fix!

Switches between 2 watches, but that is all it does well. Can't fix the Watch4 battery drain issue because the directions online don't match with the app choices. And, why would I turn off health features that were the reason why I purchashed the Watch4 to begin with? Bluetooth connections have a will of their own, not responsive to my turning them off.

This worked well with my Google Pixel 2 phone. So stupid me I assumed it would also work when I upgraded to Pixel 3. No dice 🤬. I can't do any of the watch faces that I bought and can only use the default settings. And the app keeps crashing and closing. Contacted Samsung and their response... This app is only rated for Pixel 1. You know, the phone that was released at lease 6 years ago. 🙄

I've reconnected my phone, constantly update the software. Now I get an annoying notification that my session has expired and that I need to log in to my Samsung account. The thing is, I'm already logged in. I go through the fitness programs and try out the meditation and it tells me I need to log in. I have to enter a verification code but every time I try to put the code in, the log in window just disappears. I kept trying, now it says I can't get anymore codes because I requested too many.

Seems to disabling itself all the time. 3, sometimes 4 times a week. Not even sure when this ever came on or why it's required. Not at all impressed with whatever this app is or what it's supposed to do. It tells me I have to have it in order for my phone and watch to be conected, yet it keeps disabling itself all the time. Find a better way. Not sure if this is a Samsung issue or what, but it sucks. Haven't had any significant issues until this thing popped up all the sudden. Anyone else?

Super janky. The app on the phone is constantly crashing or stopping. Weird behaviors from menus not loading to watch applications downloads never finishing. About a year ago the app worked perfectly, then it went from totally functional to practically unusable. Have tried everything from uninstalling and reinstalling the app to reformatting the watch and signing in and out of accounts, nothing has improved the situation. Thoroughly disappointed, and wish it just worked ☹️

Constantly disconnecting from phone. Over the last couple of week, it's been constantly draining battery like crazy because it's saying it is no longer connected. I'll have periods of the day where it will disconnect and reconnect just to disconnect again, over and over, 5, 6, 7 times in 10 minutes. It's been buggy the whole three years I've had it, but it's getting to the point where I'm about to leave the Galaxy watch world.
