Books are great. Most books first few chapter's are free then you have to pay. Some series you can read all the way through others you can read one or two books in the series and then have to pay for the subscription for one year. And once you hit that point you can't continue reading even if you have points, which you paid for. Frustrating.

Glitches. Unable to obtain some points. Good books Update: 10/29/23. The glitches I had before have been fixed. I no longer have an issue with download freeze. Love the books. I am planning on getting a subscription when I have the extra funds. Easy to get points to read chapters and you can usually read a new chapter in six hours. I don't like that my one book takes about 32 hrs before I can read again. Update: I increased my rating to 5s because of the great selection of stories. I'm addicte

Really enjoying the books -- both reading and audio. Since there's a timer for each new chapter, I'm reading about 6 books at a time. The common timer is 6 hours, or using 10 points to bypass a timer. We receive 1 pt a day and 30 pts every 7th day. We can also watch up to 10 ads a day, receiving 2 pts per completed ad so that's 2 timers bypassed. On the other hand to read unlimited, there's a yearly subscription. The 3rd option is to buy points. I did run into one book with a 21 hour timer. FUN!

It's fun to read with music representing each paragraph. I appreciate that the music isn't over the top, either. The story so far, is captivating. A real "page-turner" as another reviewer said. Whether or not because it's my first read of a 'were'-book. doesn't matter, I don't think. It's just well- written. Alright, I gotta get back to the story. More when I'm finished, perhaps.

I love the books. The wait between chapters, Some have a 6 hour,up to 36 hours between! That's a little much. By the time you get the next chapter you have to read the previous one to remember what's going on. Then if you want to read the 2nd book you also have to have a subscription 👎and it doesn't tell you this until you start reading. The 1st chapter is free but then you have to pay! What's the point of this being a free app? I would find another app if you're not interested in purchasing!

I love the option for background sounds to go with the reading , it really adds to the experience. New update..... I changed my rating to 5 stars , every new story I read is better then the last. They have some pretty great writers that keep your interest from page one on. Absolutely love it.. just wish they gave you more ways to earn points to read.

I've downloaded a handful of novel apps and have ended up deleting them after a while because the amount of money I chose to put into reading, it can really take a toll on the wallet. Galatea makes it where I have a little more control and I like it. I can watch the ad's and have enough points to get through a few chapters and wait a decent period for another chapter to unlock. It helps so much. Plus a lot of the stories are pretty captivating.

Really like the selection of books. Would be nice if there were more ways to earns coins(without paying). Would also like the time frame shortened from 6 hours to maybe 3. I would rather read a good book than a movie and I have come across a good selection. I just only pick the completed ones, cause nothing more aggravating than waiting for the next chapter.

There are many very good books. Thank you authors! The downside is they removed the ability to watch adds to gain points and you have to wait 6 (several books have many more) hours for chapters to open. You get usually only one point per day for reading, but intermittently there are more points you can receive. I dread updates because there seems to be things that make it more challenging for the reader. They really are trying to push you to spend money. I do recommend. But it is best to read se

Long wait till next even if you purchase the next chapter. I liked the stories . But all the ads kept crashing and spamming my system. So I had to run install it. Too bad if they could do a $19.99 subscription and it open 5 episodes that would be worth it. Also each episode is extremely short. I can read them in less than 10 minutes. 🫤

The books are great and I love all the ones I've tried to read but with 10 points or 6 hours to read each chapter it makes it difficult to keep reading without spending a bunch of money. If the points you need per chapter went down (since you only get 1 per day for the reading streak) to something that made a little more sense like 2 or 4 (even 6 for longer chapters) and brining down the amount of time you have to wait for the next chapter I would be more inclined to keep reading from this app.

This app is a scam. You buy points to read a book but the book ends up costing almost 30.00 to read in full. As you go along, the chapters cost more and more points and the chapters get shorter and shorter. Also, they falsely advertise free points but then don't pay out all the points advertised. Instead of 10, they only give you half, expecting you not to notice. I will be filing a complaint on the false advertising and payout. Currently waiting on their support team to respond to my email.

The stories are good. But the app is immoral in its costs. Lol You get the first few chapters free. Then it costs 2 points. Fine. Then for a few chapters it jumps to 10 points. Now all the sudden its 16 points per chapter?? An it feels like the chapters are getting shorter and shorter. While the stories are good, they aren't publication level good. Just go to wattpad.

This site is app is truly mercenary. Its bad enough that each "chapter"- what translates to roughly two pages of a regular book- costs you, the further you get in the story, the cost increases! It's a sad option for readers; maybe better for emerging writers. I wont be sticking around long-term; this was an investigative foray. There are some decent stories. That gets lost in the chapter-points/money dynamic. Kindle's FREE books are plenty without membership and it's not a hostage situation.

It's not my least favorite reading app. At least it has a counter that eventually gives you the next chapter, unlike some apps that just become impossible to keep reading without a top up. But if you don't want to wait 6 hours between chapters, it's basically impossible to collect points/coins. I think they should definitely beef up that department. Give me the option to watch videos or something.

3rd:Use 40pts to unlock free book didn't work took pts. 2nd:Overall still good. When comes to the free book for the day doesn't always stay the same. One day, it will have certain books listed free, and then the next different ones will show. Today closed app went back free books gone. 1st:Overall good. Don't like the wait time on some stories but it's doable. The main issue I have had is it froze on me and lost 15 points, not much, but I could have read three more chapters. Stories are awesome!

the chapters are very short. I hate that it takes 6 hours to unlock a new chapter. if I could pay monthly I would unlock unlimited reading but the only option for a total year payment keeps me from doing it. there should be multiple levels. id probably even go for like 3 months but a year is just to much at once. please add more subscription options. not enough ways to earn extra points and points are way to expensive to buy enough to try and read a book through.

This is one of my favorite audio apps, I just wish there was more bonuses. The review is lower than before because on the audiobooks it doesn't show new releases, recently uploaded or books coming soon. It only shows on the ones for reading. Also there are books for reading that I can't find in the audiobooks. We need other ways for points also.

I'm using it on an Android phone and I have some observations . When buying chapters with points, you have to wait 6 freaking hours to get the next chapter? Really? I almost deleted the app. I went ahead and signed up for the subscription service. It still takes way too long to load the app or transition to the next chapter and 30-40% of the time, the entire app crashes during the loading of the next chapter. This app is very frustrating to use and drains your battery quickly. Don't recommend.
