According to dev, this is most advanced video player then where's option to play any URL like YouTube or from cloud like VLC has? I tried sharing YouTube link from my iceraven browser via sharing hub but FX player never showed up in it. Also add aspect ratio of video something like Samsung browser and cococ browser has via media features inbuilt. Background playback stops randomly both while leaving & closing display screen. Add backup option. Improve. I'll come back later after these additions.

Its the only app thats has controls on picture in picture mode. Good for hunting chest in genshin while navigating (pausing, rewind, etc) the video in pip. None of the other video player pip mode has control, most of the only have the basic (previous, next, pause). I usually don't rate app but I did on this one. I don't really notice the ads at all so it isn't annoying. This is now my current main video player for now, really good overall.

Very handy and easy to use. It shows all movies from the internal storage arranged in folders with the movie title detailing type size length of the movie . Very good to be able to define password protected secret folders... The best is that through a pop-up bar can easily change the speed of the movie. very handy when you want to preview and find specific sections of the movies.

I love this app. To be honest I'm not sure of everything it can do but I DO KNOW that sometimes my phone records video and ends up being sideways. and while I know I can always go edit it and rotate it 90° with THIS APP I DONT NEED TO. It does it for me when viewing it and that's the most important feature for me.

Perfect video player, it. The attributes are just a amazing. For example, While watching a video, you could actually view the list of videos you have already watched, without going off from the current video... Also, you can hide personal videos in a secret folder. In addition to this, the video quality, as well as sound quality is commendable as well. Really cool app .

So far it is looking very good, very well laid out, with easy and clear controls, picture quality is excellent, as is sound quality, certainly one of the best I have found. ONE request, would it be possible, as a setting option, to permanently show the "forward / backward" buttons, rather than guess where on the screen they are, this would, for me, ensure a 5 star review. But well done to the developer.

Lousy menu, stutters while playing files over the high-end local network so it's useless for me. Edit: LAN is high-end, including APs, phone Wi-Fi and SSD-Based NAS, strong and clear signals. 20GB 4k vids work like charm on other wired/wireless systems within the network and I only need the player to do that, so that's why my opinion is quite harsh. Need some improvements like... 1. Give 1.5x option 2. In landscape mode, when I double tap to forward 10 sec very quickly it not response properly. But in portrait mode it works perfectly. 3. Swipe to seek need to more responsive. Mx player has a very smooth swipe to seek. But in FX player it not so good. Improve these minor issues. It will definitely get a 5 star from my side.

This is the greatest looking video player app ever. Everything is good and works well, but there is one missing feature, and it's very annoying. We CAN'T sort videos by LENGHT; we can only sort them by size. A 2-minute video is below a 10-second video because shorter video is a high-quality video. A SORTING by LENGHT option needs to be added immediately. It's almost 2025, and a video player app doesn't have a sort by LENGHT option. I will change my rating to 5 STARS if this feature is added.

I've used this app for a long while now, and I've never had any issues until today, I normally use the Gif maker on this app to make fun shorts for fun family moments, tried using it today, now the app wants me to pay for add removals so I can continue to use this feature, this is some bull!!, I'm not paying for something that doesn't work worth a damn in the first place, I'm truly sick of google trying to force a purchase on people!!, it's freaking ridiculous!!!

I have been looking for a player with these exact features, except I wish there was an option to turn off the search feature. I plan to add a bunch of small video tutorials from youtube from when my kids want to learn something new. (That's why i need the slow and AB repeat). I am the one who find these videos for them because the internet is always inappropriate 😒 so please have a parental setting or lead me to one that does with the features included. that would be greatly appreciated 🙏

Lots of promise. Sometimes stops playing videos and needs them restarted and could use easy playlist creation through long press selection. Also needs to scan with a double tap while playing to skip ahead of in reverse by a user set number of seconds, and a dark mode. Keeping it, and will increase my rating over time as fixes and additions are made.

The controls disappear too quickly. Tricky to use. Dies frequently. No mp3 playback. Long ad before any use allowed at startup. Long ad thrown in during pausing. No audio sync to video allowed. Odd, since there is subtitle sync. Close to good. Usable, but be careful with it. Breaks easily. The audio sync SUCKS! No way to fix it. There is a button labeled for it but it does nothing useful. This is BETA quality software. Test it before paying for it. You probably won't like it much. Deleted it.

Works awesome. Love the UI. Kind suggestion(s): 1. Add some form of border around the mini player, blends too much with the black backdrop. Also a drag down animation (currently too static) 2. Add a next and previous button on regular player. 3. Add a toggle for all videos start in portrait Fullscreen view, regardless of aspect ratio. Great video player all the same.

I was looking for a player that had frame-by-frame seeking with frame preview—without having to play videos at slower speeds. This is almost what I want, but it's not precise. It does, however, allow for super convenient frame capture. Look at the way Samsung Gallery handles video, and that's what I want here. I'll keep using this one because it's close enough for now.
