I love this app ! I been using it for a little over a year but recently some problems occurred. What haves been happening is that I would finish making my video and when I'm done saving it I go to view it and it just keeps lagging. I tried deleting the app and making a new account but the problem keeps happening. I've also tried to update the app but the problem occurs again. This is a really good app. Fix the problem asap!!

I truly enjoy this app due to the fact that you can make fantastic and interesting edits even without purchasing Premium. However, I rate this 3 stars for a specific reason. Earlier today I was working on an Edit and I was testing out effects with the Texts. I had put alot of time and effort into it. I prepared the final touch when suddenly my screen turned white. I frantically tapped back on and it said I could resume. When I clicked 'yes' it had deleted all of my progress and effects!

Absolutely love this app! I use it all the time, wish it was like video star but its amazing in its own way. I have a ton of suggestions, i suggest making brand new transitions every month, and brand new eye popping effects. But i love that its easy to use, makes great edits, and its timesaving. Giving me the same crashing issue, i start an edit and then when i put in the transition it starts freezing and crashes.

This app has amazing features! unfortunately when I do my video, it's always on time until I export it. After that it plays like a sec of music I didn't want in and it makes it off time and annoying fix. Even when I get it right, it still has annoying skip sounds that ruin the whole thing. And lags extremely bad when editing. I'd recommend Kinemaster 100% to anyone looking for a good Editor.

I gave it a 2 because it could be better. it was pretty easy to navigate if you use an app like Tik Tok but the editing tools are kinda weird. I had trouble adding in transitions & text to a 15 second video. the app itself is decent but you have to have patience to work with it. it also sets pictures for slideshows to 1 second & you have to manually change it all. would not recommend.

The app is good in general and great for beginner editors. However it is very laggy sometimes. When editing a video, you can't see your transitions and how good it is until you publish the video because it's so laggy. Also you have to pay for so much of it! And its be cool for voice overs. Funimate please fix the laggy issue. However like I said, it's good for beginners but I myself used this for a year and moved on to Alight Motion.

So, while I was editing, this is my first time, First of all, you should be able to play music and hear the background noises as well, but you can't, Secondly, when I added transitions (which were nice) it made my edit lag, and lastly, when I transferred the final product to another app, the video was off by alot, the people speaking in my edit didn't follow the video, rather it was ahead, on the bright side it has nice transitions.

Funimate is a great app for editing. I really like it but lately when ever i put music it won't let me. I thought it was because the beginning of the song was silent so i tried again. And still didn't work. I tried mutilple songs and still gives me the same result. Also a lot of the transitions are now pro. Its not fair i don't want to spend my money for transtions. You guys should take a few off of pro.

I had to edit my review since they changed how to use a sound. It used to be so awesome! Now I spend a half an hour looking for a thirty second song and then another half an hour editing. Plus, the coolest editing feautures are on pro version, which you have to pay for. Everything else was so great, I wish they wouldn't have changed it. It's still a good app though.

Great app, I love the new transitions they added! My only problem is some of the transitions are kind of messed up now, like skew, which reverses or flips the picture,, this didn't happen before so please fix this. Also when I am making my edits, they're on beat, but when I save or post them it's off beat. Please fix this too if you can. Otherwise great app.

I love funimate, it makes editing so easy, I'm using funimate pro but it doesnt have all the features like it does on the iphone. Like I can't crop my edits, or they're just more filters, and transition options on the iPhone version. A big problem is that I can't move my photo to another slide in the edit so I would have to start over and carefully reselect my photos again and that's really annoying. Update it soon so that those features can be on android as well PLEASE do that!

This app is very good in my opinion and am on Android so I don't know how it is for others but for me its pretty good. The only problem is sometimes you can find bugs and they last a while but they do get fixed. One of the bugs makes it so you can't see your followers and how many you have. Its very annoying please fix funimate. Edit: this got fixed and am so glad it did same with other glitches I forgot to mention thank you, this app is great! There's no reason to not try it yourself :)

Hello funimate team. There's a bug I'd like to report on this app. Whenever I go to the very bottom of the my 'liked videos' section in my account (the videos I heart), it creates a black screen, then it kicks me out of the app entirely. If you're able to, I hope you fix this issue as soon as possible.

I'm SO close to removing this app. I use both capcut and funimate to edit but it's more harder on here because it keeps freezing my video clips.. like.. why does it do that?- Not to mention there's ads everywhere I go. I make an new project, there's an ad, I accidentally close the app and go back in there's an ad, ITS GENUINELY EVERYWHERE. Honestly the main problem is my video clips freezing so just fix that please💀

I honestly would give this a 1 but that would be too bad. I had no problem posting videos from my camera roll but when I try and change my profile it says that I need to allow access to my photos from my camera roll. It's getting me very stressed because no matter what I do it won't allow access. I keep closing and opening the app after going into settings, but nothing changes. I wish this app could let me change my profile, so that's why it's a 2 other than other reasons.

completely updating my review to say i'm beyond frustrated with this app. the amount of time and effort i lose to it isn't funny. and it's not by a fault of my own. i save my progress. but occasionally funimate just decides to break and bar access to the edit i'm currently working on. when i try to edit that specific project, the app will close or reload on its own. i've had this experience happen over a myriad of new, perfectly working devices. i have a dozen other issues as well.

It's extremely laggy and almost feels impossible to edit without ads popping up each moment. I went on to add a FREE filter and had to go through 4 ads. Its lagginess is terrible, I can't even add one animation of a cube without my whole video freezing. *update* My last rating was a 1/5, but now I'm giving you a 4/5 because it's good when you get to know it, but still, the number of ads is insane. It's hard to export without having to watch 2 minutes of just ads.

I could write a whole chapter book on this review, but I won't. I have use funimate for almost five years and it has never been this bad. Constant crashing, ads every two seconds + much more. I work really hard on my edits a funimate has also been my designated app to do it with, but recently with them updating the app all the time it glitches, crashes and gets rid of my edits. I am done with funimate probably for good. Funimate, fix your app .

it would be great if it didn't glitch, freeze crash, render incorrectly more often than correctly and could play without being off beat or glitching before rendering so i can tell what im doing while editing. I've spend at least $50 on this app and it has gotten worse and worse. I'm really sad. it didnt work right on three of my phones and the newest is a pixel 7 with 100 gb so idk what's the problem. please make this app actually work where it's supposed to thats such a basic level of standards

i really do like this app, it makes it really easy to edit as someone who has always struggled to understand the user interface of more complex apps. but there's just so much about this app that's also frustrating, so many glitches. sometimes it removes the audio even when i save a project. and also ive been having trouble uploading videos to the app's feed. i can download them to my phone, but still. also i can't have multiple video clips in one project without one of them freezing
