More About Fuelio: gas log & gas prices

Fuelio is application to track your mileage, gas consumption and costs. Using this app you can track car expenses, auto service, your fill-ups, fuel consumption, car's mileage, costs and gas prices. You can also use our GPS tracker to save your routes automatically.
🛣 See the overview of mileage, gas costs for one or more vehicles. Supports different fuel types and now also bi-fuel vehicles. Can visualize your fill-ups on Google map.

Gas prices - crowdsourcing
⛽️ The app will also show you fuel prices and nearest gas stations.

Fuelio: Gas log & costs is using full tank algorithm to calculate fuel consumption. Thanks to this, the app can calculate how many litres/gallons of fuel you have used between fill-ups. When you buy fuel just enter the amount you purchased and your current odometer value. Fill-up will calculate your fuel economy/efficiency, maintain a log of your purchases, and display plots and statistics for your data.
The app provides statistics as total and average number of fill-ups, fuel costs and mileage in a nice-looking, easy to use interface and in visual charts.

Fuelio app stores your data locally but any time you want, you can connect it to the cloud (Dropbox, Google Drive) and make sure you won’t loose your data even after loosing or crashing your device.

Trip Log - GPS tracker

It would be nice to be able to specify the location of my backups on google drive. I see my Google Drive as cluttered now that there is a random folder at the top level. It is really helpful for users to organize that way. --- Update - I get spammed with reminders from an archived vehicle and I cant even access the vehicles reminder page. - No good way to leave feedback except give bad review..

I would like to see a chart for average mpgs. That way I can track the progress of any efficiency upgrades. Each tank mpg is nice, but overall average chart will be easy to spot trends. The rest of the app works very well. After the last eight months or so I have gathered enough data with this app to compare vehicle costs per mile to help plan trips. On the whole, a very well made app.

Great app and very easy to use. I can't believe it's at no charge with no ads. (please keep it this way) The only issues I've run into are that I can't find how to add gas stations manually without turning on GPS and no HELP with the file layout and uploading CSV files, but it's still a great app which does everything I need it to do and I'll continue to use.

Good app. Has all the features I wanted. No bugs or glitches so far. The only thing that I had any difficulty with was the GPS map did not show any gas stations near me when I live near a dozen gas stations. With a lot of trial and error experimenting, I was able to add gas stations to the map and my favorites. So that is the reason for 4 out of 5 stars. Other than that, great app!

It really helps to keep track of the expenses and being able to upload to Dropbox automatically is the a plus. I've seen my fuel consumption go down and the savings in money spent after getting a new job since the drive is shorter. I also keep up with every expense ie. oil changes, wiper blades, etc. It has no ads and is completely free. It's the best app in this category!

I love this app, however the auto backup feature doesn't seem to work and as such has caused me to lose first an entire year's worth of data, then a month after that. If I manually export to Drive it works, but selecting "sync to drive" continues to leave out anything more recent than 2019. As long as you remember to manually back up your data then this app is great

By far the best car cost and fuel tracking app I have found over many years and multiple platforms. The only nitpick I could state is I wish it was easier to share a common data file between two devices. There is a beta feature for that but I would love that to be developed further. The new report screen is a welcome addition and very clear.

Very content with this application. It does everything I need at the moment, keeping track of repairs and gas mileage, and reminding me of maintenance, and it does so with a mostly clear interface and no ads or popups. The developer is thoughtful about what she or he is making, and the app reflects that. It may lack a few advanced features but it is never frustrating or annoying or unreliable. It has become indispensable to me.

Doesn't work recording trips. Shows the trip on my status bar. When I click it to finish the trip it disappears and all is lost. Have tried it many times. Have issues with Sygic navigation premium also. Have emailed several times to get assistance without any responses. Very disappointed with the Sygic product and support. Paid for all the upgrades big mistake on my part.

I will be honest this is one of the best vehicle expense / milage tracking apps. I've been using for the past few years and it just works. It does not have a super slick interface, but everything works and the data is there. The multiple backup options along with the auto start for tracking makes this app worry free and consistent. The integration into Android auto is not that great because if you stop a log in AA for some reason it is not saved on your phone. Also some gas stations do not save.

I really like the app. It is waaaaay better than the on I used to use. It doesn't (hasn't) crashed, the controls are easy to use and well laid out, the reporting is all I need. I do wish it would also track oil changes and maybe other minor maintenance. It would make life easier to have all that in one place. Edit: Now that I've had my coffee and figured out the nice way the dev set up a reminder system for things like oil changes, I'm 105% happy with the app and highly recommend it.

WARNING: SYNCHRONIZATION IS OFF BY DEFAULT! It also doesn't restore properly when enabled, and can't find the files in the Drive despite existing where it's looking supposedly looking. Manually downloading and import worked, but missing the last 6 months of data? Also, the checkbox design makes it near impossible to know whether a setting is checked or unchecked. Honestly, regularly make your own manual backups if it's important to you. I really like this app, but man this part needs work.

This is the only app I've found in the vehicle trip log/maintenance space that does automatically "sync/backup" (read upload all your personal vehicle info and private customer data to their servers) your data, so I was stoked to find it. Then I discovered that you can't manually enter trip info. It demands access to location and (weirdly) photos! Trips only work "automatically". Nice try, but do better.

7.7.0 app update: was really disappointed that the statistics tab changed for the worse. Sure you get some pictures, but I much preferred the old format with all the info easy to see. Hope to see a option to choose which layout one would prefer. I'll be downgrading versions for the time being as I had put all the stats into Excel and don't want to play hide and seek for them.

Update: Still love the app, but I've started having issues with the Google Drive backup. Keep getting error of "Problem with file structure". The app does exactly what it's suppose to to help me track mileage and maintenance on my vehicles. The only issue I've had is that occasionally it will show kpg instead of mpg when I open the app, but then will correct to my settings after I select something and go back to the main screen. Everything else is great and I love the reminders.

Easy to use, clean interface. You can track fuel use for multiple vehicles if you want to, make notes for each entry (or not) and it even has a feature in case you forget to enter a fill up from time to time. I am totally happy with it. Update 2024 April - having used the app now for several years and through several upgrades I'm still totally happy with it.

Overall it's good and does the basic job of tracking fuel economy and fill ups. Some notable issues; * You cannot add a station if it doesn't exist. * Homescreen widgets have been broken for a long while now. Additions; * A "notes" section in vehicle info would be a huge benefit for keeping track of oil / fuel filter part numbers, tire sizes, oil type, etc. * A "personal or business" option for fill ups would be great for those of us who need to track miles and expenses for work.

It's cool option, but most likely use something else. Since have to pretty much in put my milage and everything every trip except for the milage range it tracts that on a recorded trip but nothing else and I want to record every trip. But the gas feature and cost along with other costs is nice too. Just needs some tweaks and would be an awesome app.

Best app to track vehicle and fuel data. I've been using it for years and app just keeps improving and staying relevant. Love the ability to see statistics and charts over the course of time. Great for record keeping. Syncs and backup data really well, used it across multiple phones over the years and it's been a seamless experience. Highly recommend!

App seems to work alright, but the interface could use some UX and UI improvements. i.e. Reminders do not have a way of adding an event instance when you have a recurring event/reminder so you can't keep accurate records unless you add the same thing as a one time expense. Also for me as of 9.4.0 the app will crash anytime I want to see a chart or graph of my data, would be nice to see all that. If that is fixed then I will update my review.
