This is still that game we played a long time ago. The content has stopped really rolling out, but it's a fun game to return to now and again. That said, the ad button for powerups is fine, but there are also mandatory ads after rounds. You won't see them at first, but they rev up the ad volume as you play. Gross. You can buy Fruit Ninja Classic and go ad-free, but then you're looking at a game without updates. Gotta choose between ads and old content.

I gave it three stars, if I could I would rate it 3.5 out of 5. It's a cool game to play when you have nothing to do. But I miss the old fruit ninja, when you had to use starfruit to buy blades. And another thing, yall need to do something about the ads and arcade mode. The ads are mad annoying, you have to watch one after every game. And arcade mode. (Continuing on a new comment because they won't lemme type the whole thing here)

The game used to be a classic, but now it's become a money grabber with all the ads and needing to purchase 90% of the blades and backgrounds through boxes rather than challenges. The game has been made intentionally harder to push you to purchase powerups and such instead of allowing 3 mistakes like it used to. Sad to see such a great game fall to what it is now.

This game is quite good, and close to as fun and addictive as the original one, BUT, the ads are completely out of control; there is one after every game (game usually lasting a minute or so). You also can't really get cosmetics without paying for them, which is fine I guess, but is not good for the f2p players. The game is also TERRIBLY optimized, its laggy, and it sometimes deletes progress; you really need a Google play account connected to it or you will likely lose progress.

I adored this game in my youth. Now it's immersion breaking ads and maybe a couple rounds of gameplay here and there. Literally after finishing a round of arcade, I am faced with two options and a title asking, "Do you like ads?": one says "I love ads!" and has a watch ad button while the other states,"Remove popup ads!" and has a price of 2.99. There is no in-between. There is no other choice. Watch an ad or pay up. You can not leave this screen unless you pay or watch it. It's garbage now.

An amazing, addicting, and satisfying game that, has challenges and missions, as well as different game modes. The only reason I am taking off a star is because they recently took away a section with mini games, which was my favorite section. But it is still very fun, and if they added back the mini game section, I would like it even more.

The game itself is pretty good. There's just something therapeutic about slicing the fruits. My biggest issues were w/ the ads. I appreciate the way they're implemented(bonus xp), but there's alot of them. In addition, there were a few times when my bonus ads wouldn't work but the automatic ads worked 100% fine. Aside from that, there's so many "coming soon" tags. After a while there's just not alot of incentive to keep playing. Criticals seem to be disabled too. 0 in over a week.

I'm already at level 30, & I really like the different features the blades & dojos have. I previously complained about being unable to get the Yes Chef dojo, but that's been fixed. Thank you Halfbrick Studios! One request, though: I'd like to be able to view the different achievements, & maybe progress past level 30. I previously complained about the game crashing, but that was fixed in the most recent update too!

This game is super fun. I like that there are multiple types of games, like arcade and zen and classic and multi player. My only complaint so far is that when you have the water blade and you have the wave upgrade, when I get a wave, a bomb always shows up and kills me. It's so annoying because I'm not a pro at the game, and I always lose that way. Please fix that. Other than that, I really enjoy the game.

There are so many ads! I downloaded this for my 2 year old daughter on her phone because she loves it. However, it absolutely requires an internet connection because of the amount of ads. Every single other game she has I can run in airplane mode. But not this garbage. Every single time a round ends, there is an ad that requires exiting twice. Absolute garbage. Absolutely the worst ever. This game used to be so good when it came out. Now it's just a steamy pile of garbage with so many ads!!!!

Downloaded for the nostalgia, but all the other reviews are right. Its definitely a money grab now instead of the fun game I remember. The UI is not user friendly anymore, the game is very cluttered and laggy, and it didn't even save my progress. I played it right after I downloaded it and got to level 7, but when I opened the app today it says I'm only level 2 and it drained all my coins too. Also discovered there's no ads at first, but they show up after you've been playing a while. Shady.

The rating would be higher but there were so many ads and pop ups for either buying no ads or watching an ad. I also wasnt able to have anything going on in the backround of my phone. Overall though its really fun to play and the multiplayer option allows me to be able to form a better connection/connect with others. Arcade mode is really fun. Classic mode is quite a fun challenge. Zen mode is there when u want to destress. Too many ads and it gets rid of my stuff runing in the backround. 😒😡

Hello. Want to say that this game was amazing, and I used to play it ever since i was five, and i have fond memories with the game! However, nowadays, when i came back into the game, I found that it's now filled with ads, how many? A LOT. Everytime i finish a round, either an ad pops up, or the game makes me say "I love ads", and it's really annoying, i hope the game gets less ads.

This game gets worse all the time. Every time I review it, my rating gets lower and lower. The ads are obnoxious. I don't mind ads for power ups and such, but they go overboard making you watch ads for fake games. The game itself is way too graphics heavy for its own good, causing lagging issues in the menus that just look terrible. The whole thing is a real disappointment after all this time.

Decent game that I've played for a very long time. Only gripe I have is when I played the event mode, and the ending screen after slicing up the pomegranate, asked if I wanted an additional 10 seconds. I pressed yes, to do so with the 1 diamond. Originally I had 9, but noticed after pressing it a couple times after it froze, and thinking it didn't process, it went down to 7, when it was only supposed to go down to 8. Other than that, overall pretty decent.

Game used to be amazing a few years ago, and now it's just an empty shell of what it once was. There's several blades to unlock in the game, back then you had to complete a specific challenge to unlock a blade, nowadays you have to open boxes by watching ads or paying money just to do so. I've opened at least 30 boxes and have only unlocked 2 blades. Also the game will mis-register your swipes and you'll get a combo, but the game won't count it. The more I play now, the more sad I feel, shame.

It's not even that enjoyable anymore. It constantly wants to freeze and crash, and I know it's not my phone or wifi. Sometimes, it bugs out and doesn't register combos. The sword swings by itself sometimes. But the worst part is the ads that are constant and forced unless you pay. At this point, the game is only there to make money off of you. It's not nearly as good as it once was. Also, getting the dupicates to level up the sword is ridicnostalgia. it's not worth down even for nostalia.

I do not know exactly happened to how this game saves account data, but the capability to sign in easily and save or recover previous progress is complicated at worst and virtually nonexistent at best. I recently changed phones and lost every bit of progress I used to have, and I really enjoyed playing this game. I keep attempting to contact support to recover my old data, but I can't seem to get in touch with anyone. Very, very frustrating.

There is a combo event going on currently. I play for a few minutes and rack up a couple hundred combos putting me in 1st place. If I close the app and open it up later on, my progress is lost. I'm back at 0. It happens every time. Seems like another ploy to get you to grind more so that you watch more ads 🙄 all these reviews and feedback and yet no improvements. It's as if yall just want us to shut up and give you our money.

I'm giving 2 stars for the following reasons. -Rewards for moving up in levels are getting smaller and smaller - Amount of time and gameplay needed to move up in levels is increasing - Dojos can be upgraded, but for nothing basically. Always says "coming soon" for special features within the dojo but nothing ever happens. - it takes too long to upgrade blades As a result of the above mentioned cons, gameplay is redundant, timely, and blah. I loved this game at first, I was hooked.
