In Frostpunk: The Board Game, in order to survive, you will need to constantly balance your decisions between managing and growing the city, and maintaining the morale and mood of its citizens. After the apocalyptic global cooling, the only heat comes from the Generator in the centre of the city. If you neglect it, everyone will freeze to death. The people who rely on your decisions are all that remains of humanity... Many lost their loved ones, and all of them were ripped from their previous lives and thrown into this new, harsh reality. They are the survivors, the ones that made it, but this does not mean they are dispassionate machines.

I don't find it useful, unless they add markers. It would be a way to save space on the table.

Its nothing like the console version all i honestly saw was frost punk same theme i didn't bother to look at the pictures nor the description thought that pass over to mobile this is not for me unfortunately i think its a board mobile game my rating has to be submitted in order to write a post sooo im giving the game 3 stars no they did absolutely nothing wrong two is just for my assumption that was completely wrong but because play less 5 min I can't give you full stars

This is absolutely the perfect companion to the board game. Gives it even more atmosphere making everything near perfect. Well done glass cannon well done.

Works great for what it is. A companion to the boardgame and not a game in and of itself. Seems the bad reviews are from people who didn't realize what they downloaded. So here's 5 stars to balance that out.

Great add on to the board game. It's nice to have one less thing to manage and the Trade feature can be a real life saver in some games.

I merely love that this exists! It's great to see board game companion apps. I too would wish for it being able to replace some of the tracker boards.

The app is basically a glorified player aid. Primarily, I want an board game companion app to save table space and simplify book keeping. How about adding some of the trackers to the app?

Very nice Companion App. Only things I wish would be included are more advisor lines (new order, new faith and new law) and maybe the storm sound effects. And it's unfortunate to see that most negative reviews are from people, who don't know what this app is for.

I tried my best to like this but I just could not like it even after lowering my expectations for a mobile app. This is just a plain city builder with a light Frostpunk theme and pay to win elements. I hoped that I would discover more lore to the series or that the gameplay would be what I like and am familiar with, but it failed in both categories. If you are craving Frostpunk and can't wait for the sequel, play the PC/console game or wait, because this app is a disgrace to the series.

App works well. It's good as an aid to keep the group on track. I haven't had the chance to try the trade function yet, but the music and design are quite good and fir well with the theme.

Edit: It works again, thanks! Original review: This boardgame keeps rising above my expectations. This app was EXACTLY want I wanted it to be and more. I wanted the soundtrack,l and a soundboard. Not only does it deliver that, it is a rulebook, guide you through the turns, takes over the weather deck AND trade. 10/10. I love you guys

I swear the room was warm when I started this app. As we played, however, people started shivering impulsively. Put on coats even, just because the music and sound effects are that good. Very informative and well put together. Love all the info markers and help during phases it provides. This helped a lot while playing TBG, for sure. Noticed that it dose not seem to run in the background. I was hoping to have this going while driving, or while working around the house, just for the music.
