Requires a login account for freely accessible public IRWIN and other Wildfire data doesn't make much sense to me unless there is something special though I kinda doubt that. Making folks register for basic wildfire data seems like a marketing ploy to me. Seems useless for the majority of people unless they actually have the Frontline Wildfire defense system. Reply comments say it's a different service and application. Wildfire map on the website is only basemap and otherwise blank on 7/14/2022.

This thing is SOOOOO SLOOOWWWWW I'm on a Galaxy S10, which is not exactly an old and outdated device by any means. This app is sluggish and unresponsive to a huge fault. Menus take 10-15 seconds just to open, 30sec to open the map, button taps not doing anything, etc

Do not sign up for this. Updates for fires are hours behind and it will not let me delete my account.

I appreciate being informed that there is a fire within 1.6 miles of my home. I also appreciate that the app indicates that fire status updates are available. The fact that the updates occur periodically but there is absolutely no way to link to the updates and get vital information makes this system a curiosity, but nothing to aid in determining whether or not to evacuate AGAIN and ensure safety. From a real-world user.

I love the concept of this app! It's a simple and quick way to do research. But, this app would be so much better if we could easily send photos or map variantions to friends and family. I screenshot a lot of what I find researching. I would like to be able to capture those things easier

Absolutely ridiculous. The fire perimeter does nothing but glitch and doesn't even show 85% of the time. This morning I checked and it said there was a fire less than a mile away from me. I panicked only to find out it was put out early this morning. I am appalled at the audacity you must have to make an app that people may depend on for their safety and then not keep it updated with VERY NECESSARY INFORMATION. Do better.

Horrible app & interface. Can't get past address page and it won't highlight what is wrong.

Took 5 attempts to even make an account, then once I was successful all I get is black screens then crash.

So far, so good. The app works great and has no issues on my Samsung Galaxy Smartphone.

Why am I required to create an account to try out the app? Watch Duty doesn't not require an account. I am uninstalling Frontline Wildfire Tracker due to this initial requirement.

Seems like a decent app, but I am currently being rained on by ash from a wildfire and possibly going to need to evacuate soon. This app shows no fire anywhere around me, but one that was put out the other day. There are currently, from other sources, 2 or 3 fires nearby. I would be in grave danger if attempting to use this app to save my family! That is NOT acceptable for an app claiming to be any sort of aid in an emergency!

I installed this app because I live in the mountains and want to be notified if there's a fire near by. Today I noticed smoke and a red sun before I received a notification, wondering wth I opened the app and had to search for a fire that was less than 5 miles away, then a notification popped up with the name of the fire and an option to get more info so I clicked on that only to have a disclaimer page pop up saying that the information contained within is not reliable and nothing else :(

At a cursory look, I couldn't figure out how to set a particular fire to track. I looked through all the pages, but saw no way to set up to track a current fire. The app says it has a tracking. It would be nice if the app had some instructions. Could develope into a very useful app.

App can not be relied on to open. I opened it last night, went to sleep, and when I checked this morning it still hadn't loaded. And when it does, if you change locations or maps the refresh lag is insane. It's a shame. Great promised features and functions but poor results.

Nice layout and UI. Pretty easy to set up for fire alerts. Two annoying things that bring down the rating: + Can't customize notifications, so I am constantly getting alerts when fire danger level changes. I don't need this, but there's no way (that I can find anyway) to turn that off without losing actual fire notifications. + Email address for support is dead text - can't tap on it to open an email, can't even copy it to the clipboard.

I am excited for the potential of this app. There are some kinks still to be worked out. Notifications say there are updates to fires but doesn't say what the updates are even when clicking more info. The selected overlays don't stay on and have to be constantly re-selected. It allows for multipul addresses. It did seem to have trouble validating some addresses but once I put in the zip code that issue seemd moot. The app is very nicely designed and once working properly will be a great asset!

I've used this app for the past few years, and it was wonderful until the last update. Since the last update, even though it said that it fixed bugs, I've had 10x more issues with the app. If anything, I might be underexaggerating a bit. I'll have fires on my watch list, click to view on the map, and it either tells me it doesn't exist or it just shows my home location without any of the fires that I know are in the area.

After I've uninstalled to reinstalled app multiple times, it consistently refuses to open, but instead prompts error msg, "FRONTLINE FIRE DEFENSE HAS STOPPED. CLOSE APP" although it never opened to even get started. Ironic, don't u think, considering it never even opened?! Plz fix this dang thing if u want 5 stars. In the meantime I'm uninstalling it and will chk bk in 90 days or so. In the meantime I'll find another funtional one... Thx in advance for fixing/upgrading it; that is if u do...!

While the fire notifications are helpful they don't seem to update soon after they start and when contained for a few days after checking various news sources. And some fires disappear entirely from the map while actually active and I can only see them in notifications for them rather than being able to find where they are on the map.

This app has great features, however, It is very slow on updating information about fires. I've been using another app and they are better at updating more current information about fires and show clear fire lines not just hot spots and are great about updating evacuations and other important information. And also has wind direction and other features that are more useful. The best thing about this versus the other is that you can customize it a bit more.
