It's nice. You can select text and a menu option then reads it aloud in French. But it unselects the text when you do so! The bookmarks button is not on the toolbar.

It's "Bien" and very helpful love it! Now I can use it to find definition of some words I I see online or anywere else I write the definition of a word down!☺ I give it 5 stars because it it has almost ALL the words and detailed information I don't think the same to those comments that have 4, 3, 2, or 1 star!! 🙁 But, this app is very useful I'm happy you made it!!

Thank you so much. I love this app, it's free, no ads, simple explanations with cool examples. But I have a problem with text to speech, it's not working, even if I'm online. I'd truly appreciate it if you can guide me to fix it :)

I got this app because I enjoyed it's English counterpart, with the hope that it'll be similarly awesome. The interface is OK, and it's easy to navigate through, but I have a problem with text-to-speech: read-out-loud is just not working. Please help. Thanks.

Great great great app for learning French. Suggests similar words if you have a typo, includes gender, can find any conjugation, French definition comes first and if you still don't understand scroll down for the translation. And finally, no distracting ads.

So far it appears to be in working order without complications. You can teach a child or an adult very basic French words. If possible, I reccommend obtaining a book or recording from which to learn languages. Portable devices have too many distractions for all ages.

Excellent. Exactly what I need to assist my French learning. The application is fully functioning in offline mode with pronouncing of the word, reading passages and random words to learn new words. No advertisement found. No premium plan. I love it and love it!! Merci beaucoup pour votre superb travail !! 😊

Excellent. Just starting to learn French. This dictionary is entirely in French, to have it in English would kind of defeat the purpose. Provides voice for pronunciation. Gotta start learning somewhere and this will be an excellent suplementary resource. Probly should know how to read a little French before using though. Merci beaucoup livio.

Perhaps the most intuitive dictionary out there. But there is no way to view previous versions of updated definitions. Which is exactly how to easily kill a language over time. I personnaly won't update this app for this reason until this issue is fixed. Otherwise this is a very good app.

The best one you're probably going to find!! Perfect for anyone learning french grammar - you have the conjugations in different tenses and translations in english, with a few other languages as well, and whether a word is feminine or masculine - basically a very, very handy french grammar app. Definitely recommend.

Most awesome french dictionary existing. It gives accurate definitions of words with their translation in English and some other languages. It shows how to conjugate verbs in the 12 different tenses in French and can read definitions. The best part is all of this is available OFFLINE. You won't regret downloading it. It's way too resourceful.

Since the update the speaker function doesn't work and, therefore, I'm not able to hear the correct pronunciation, which is essential to me. I removed the app from my phone and reinstalled it. Didn't fix the problem :( I used to love that app. I hope you guys are able to fix it. BTW, your English dictionary app works fine. Awesome app. Supports IPA and reads the whole page out loud. Also translates words randomly either into English, German or other languages.

Excellent! Only drawback is that it lacks the speak button that the other dictionaries in this family have.

Ever since the last update the audio doesn't work anymore . The developers should work on this please.

Finally I found a French dictionary that has transcription (it's French, without transcription, I'm lost), a noun's gender, and conjunctions.

Works marvelously! for intermediate/advanced with in-depth definitions and literature sentences as examples for each word. *I needed to configure speech settings for my Android.* Click the 3 horizontal bars in the app's upper left hand corner > Settings > scroll to Text to speech > Enable Text to Speech and Read Aloud > in that pop up box click Text-to-speech settings at the bottom > Change 'Preferred Engine' to Speech Services by Google and 'Language' to Use System Language. Voilà! I love it.

Great app, with all the definitions you could possibly need. Never crashes. I have the English and Spanish versions also and can go back and forth between them as needed. Handy for travel and reading books and newspapers in the target language. Just wish there was a version you could use on an iphone or iPad. Highly recommend.

It's free, no adds, works great, lots of features, seems to be based on (French) Wictionaire or Wikitionary so very complete, nice features, conjugates, pronuncation including speaking the words, and customizations, just works. Seems vastly underated should be at least a 4.8 on average, maybe higher. I think it even works offline but haven't tested that. Get it, use it, see if it isn't one of the best. (Linguee is good too.)

This app is extremely fast, which I really appreciate. (Pro tip: to make it even faster to use, there's a setting to open the keyboard first thing when you launch the app.) The dictionary content is generally great - it's from the French Wiktionary. I have the Larousse too, but these are often more complete - plus this app is far nicer to use than Larousse's.
