The gameplay of Franz is based on a text-rich story and tactile interaction with the character. Your smartphone is Franz herself, so you need to be much more careful with the device. Franz is unpredictable and touchy, but is very much into you. She is susceptible to physical interaction, just like any real person. The game so far is pretty good. I'm not too far in so I don't really know how much my opinion's worth though. From what I've seen, it's pretty unique, and unlike anything else I've played. I still have no idea what I'm really doing... Buy maybe that's just because I'm dumb 😅. Before I can determine whether or not I'd recommend this to others, I'd really have to play more; although it really just depends on the person playing: different strokes for different people I guess.

No response. No help. No update/fix. Uninstalling... Please help... I was enjoying the game until I got stuck in a loop. Keeps telling me she will hug me. I don't want to have to start over. Hopefully this gets fixed soon. Unless the loop is part of the game that I can't figure out? 🤷 Tried uninstalling and reinstalled, still stuck in a loop...

This is truly an amazing app! Franz is so lifelike and is capable of acting and even not letting me back in when she doesn't want to see me! I'm touching the screen softly, and she thinks it's rough touches, though. All in all, this is amazing! I got this for being a play pass member, and I absolutely love it!

I hate to give this a bad review since I'm enjoying it so far, but I like many others an stuck in a dialogue loop of Franz wanting to hug me. I've seen one person online saying they ignored her for a few days and she gave them a way out, but that's... really not very intuitive. I've heard other people talking about events that haven't happened for me so clearly you can get past it, but I'm seriously struggling here. Maybe it's only an issue with the Android version?

The long wait is suffocating and the touching system is tough , I don't want to hit her but struggling to touch results in a weird outcome. Having to be kicked out of the app and dealing with the app permissions and privacy policy was the last straw. I am here to play not to be bothered. I like the physiological aspects but the gameplay itself and the app aren't the best sorry.

Eh Uninstalled. I thought the game might be pretty good as I really enjoy the creepy and unusual games but this game was just tedious. The idea of the game is actually quite innovative and I think this could've been a really creative concept but the game as it is currently just didn't quite do it. Maybe I didn't play it long enough and it gets better the longer you stick with it but the constant flickering "eery" graphics just gave me a headache.

it's interesting enough that I'm still playing it but I think. There's a bug , cuz you get to one sequence that starts with her sayings she would hug me when she gets arms, and it just keeps repeating no matter what you do.... I tried sending an in game message to the dev but don't know if it went through or not.. ..I think it would be a lot more interesting if you could speak to her in your own words, like an AI, and have her respond.

Very scary if you play at night, but you get used to the frights with time. Main draw is understanding the mystery and learning about yourself :) Fun and engaging. Translated well! The art is beautiful and frightening. EDIT: i think ive gotten two endings so far, im never sure the game is over

It seems unique, but the speed of the text is not for me, I did not manage to read all, and some text isn't repeating, I actually didn't dive deep in this But it was good at putting the atmosphere right

So far, this game is simple yet complex, at first glance it's not much but as you keep on going you'll find that it has many layers, the game also is quite good at getting the player's full attention, from the music to the visuals it's all entertaining to the player, it gets them into a trance while the questions and thoughts provoke thoughts in the player's mind, the game is a reflection of who's playing it, it makes you confront yourself while also giving you breaks to think about your actions

I was enjoying the game. It's different and I was curious to figure out the mystery of Franz. But I got to a part where Franz says she wants to hug me as soon as she finds a pair of arms, then she says u want to hear you say and I have to do a puzzle thing to make the screen say take it all. And this repeats over and over and over no matter what I do. I close the app and open again later and same thing, I've done it about 20 times hoping it would change and move the game play along but nothing.

Bug being ignored, It's a shame coz I was enjoying the game and keen to keep going but there's a bug not very far into the game (the hug bug) several users have commented and contacted support (myself included) and haven't heard anything back. I gave it a few weeks before leaving a review because I didn't want to criticise them before seeing for myself if I got a response or if it was fixed etc but it's broken and the developers don't seem to be engaged with the app

I don't get it. it does have some creepy sounds and graphics, but I don't get the story or what it is I'm supposed to do. It doesn't seem like a game, but rather just interacting with some creepy ai generated artwork.

I really like the game it's a bit confusing in The beginning then you will get the concept the reason I gave her a 4 it's because I reached a part of The game I didn't knew what to do next it's repeated the sentence stake it is a bit small you have to clear some letters to make another sentence I tried a lot and it's just stay repeated I searched for how to step further but I haven't finde anything I hope if The programmer see my review help with my problem I really want to see the ending

I loved the game, but I'm stuck in the loop of her trying to hug me, after dealing with the sentence and getting "take it all" it throws me back to "careful you might scare her off". I tried uninstalling the game, played all over up to that moment but the issue remained. I really want to see the rest of the game, but I don't think I'm ready to be replaying it until it works :( I would love to know if there's any way to fix it

Well, this game is TOTALLY not for everyone. As far as I can see from the reviews, many people find it boring because they only see the text and the character - Franz, and have to wait a long time at certain moments. However, in my opinion, this game helps you think: about whether you are doing the right things in your life, what kind of person you really are ( you will also forget how to lie lol ). This is an interesting psychological horror, the tension - captures you. I liked it very much!

This is unique.The background music adds another dimension to this game. I really liked this game!!! If you love to enjoy challenging horror games but got bored to fight or do other fighting or assembling stuff then this game is made for you. It will challenge you but in a dramatic and metaphoric way. It will play with you with its words and of course, will offer you unexpected turns. But you need to be patient for enjoying its unexpected and wonderful surprises..!!

It's really interesting, but not something I think of as a "game." If you're looking for a game, this isn't it. This is what you "play" if you're patient and fueled by curiosity. It's creepy, unique, and almost certain to make you uncomfortable. My problem is the "ending." At a certain point, with no warning, there's just no more game. You open the app, can't do or interact with anything, and nothing changes. For a game with so much buildup and time invested to go nowhere... I'm disappointed

It actually was an uncomfortable but immersive game so far, that it's piqued a lot of my curiosity as I kept playing, but like other Android users, there's a bug that's been particularly ignored and not patched yet which is the part where she said she would "hug you," and there's a phrase she obviously wants you to say, but it goes back to where the narrator says "careful, you might scare her off" constantly. I do hope that the developers can get back to updating the game, but it'll be a while.

The concept and art are original, quirky, and dark. Great sound design. The jump scares work for a short time. The needy notifications fit the character and add to the experience of interaction. I think it gets a bit tedious after a while. There's potential to add more story to the game and adding a bit more "growth" to the character and interaction would be a possible improvement.
