it's called France identité, because only local ppl or who has nationality can use it ! sad that we(foreign) can't use it even with a new card !🥲

Wanted to created one france identité to login to amelie, etc Though ive not my new carte identite format as its still valid. Ive a valid passport too And i cant do anything in this app Why not supporting old french pièce identité or passport or sécurité social or. Birthd certificate -_-

NFC doesn't work with ID card: "unknown error". I usually have no issue with NFC.

Doesn't accept passport. Aaaand Laposte app is trash. I am a French Citizen abroad and I am forced to ask someone else to sign my document or use a paid service 60€ That being said it's good that the system evolves as we do KYC for banking for 10 years now - no joke.

App too slow to open. At the moment, useless: you can't use it in the trains, in the shops... A good idea but businesses are too slow to adapt

I'm trying to set up my online space for impots, I have to prove my identity, tried to register for the service but it wont recognise my carte de sejour or my french driving licence. Given the fact I've managed to register for Ameli and exchange my licence, this process is not very accessible or clear. Uninstalled. Will try poking my tax office a bit more via email.

Less use than a chocolate fireguard. God only knows what it thinks it needs it just says... No, your device hasn't got what I need, not sure if it's secure element, NFC or what it just doesn't tell you. Pain as you need the app to do anything in France. Says on website needs android 8 (yes) and NFC (yes) but still doesn't work

This App does not accept passport or driving license or Carte Vitale or any non-french id that I know of. There is no list of ids it will accept, anywhere. If someone has given a European passport and European driving license as photographic id for a French driving license application, then why tell the applicant they have to use an App which they cannot possibly use because of the Apps restrictions?

I would give this app 0 if I could. The old system was insecure and bad; the new system is insecure, bad, even more complicated to deal with, especially for French people living abroad, and probably makes recovering from identity fraud even more of a nightmare. Any excuse is good to increase surveillance, but apparently, the tradeoff of at least making bureaucracy simpler by knowing everything about you isn't in the cards for France's mandatory state apps.

So I can't get my France connect+ to work because they ask for a 5 years titre de séjour, and I can't use this app because it doesn't accept titre de séjour. I can only laugh when the government talks about foriegn investments when they take every step necessary to make it hard and backwards. My passeport talent allows me to go work anywhere in Europe. Ive been seriously considering that option simply because of the French administration being so baddly organized and chaotic.

still needs a lot of work. scanning of (non-french,but European id didn't work, manual input doesn't work either due to malfunction (other app (presumably the scanner) in foreground) of the app. if this is the beta version I have hope for the future but right now -while the idea is great- the implementation is a shame.

the QR code doesn't work and it doesn't let me connect even though I have the new generation ID card. and it always says France identit service 'unavailable' when I try and connect. so annoying!!

So far so good, I could register my very old driving license. and car/motorbike registration (carte grise). However car registration with many first name still an issue: if you registered with your second or third first name, car registration failed. I hope that will be fixed soon, it is so convenient to travel paperless.
