This phone app, paired with Google Contacts offline, works perfect. as soon as you fix the alphabetical issue with Fossify Contacts, ill get that to use with this.

i cleared call log and suddenly my messages were also deleted to top it off. all my incoming call got voice message that my number is busy. how can clearing call log cause so many issues? edited: i am writing here how i solved it. i mistakenly dialed ***** and then instead of deleting from call log i blocked ***** these stars. and because of this both sms and incoming calls were blocked.

Very amazing yet minimal caller. And i don't even need to worry about my privacy because of it being FOSS. In my opinion, the only feature it is missing is a built-in call recorder.

Should add recording feature to the app because in many countries it is legal like in India. Otherwise a very good app.

It is a simple and nice app but don't have options to specify preferred sim card if mobile has dual SIM. Please provide support for call recording and options to specify sim1 or sim2 for specific contacts without confirmation every time.

This works very well. Do NOT uninstall Google Phone. When installing Fossify, select it as the default. Voicemail and missed call icons will appear at the top of the home screen.

Great calling app. I really love the modern UI! It's a good replacement for the stock calling app that came with my Pixel, except this one isn't full of trackers and AI. A big thank you to the developers! I will be checking out your other apps ❤️

Minor graphic bug: Mute button lits up when a person we call picks up the call as if we have activated "mute" button. It remains in this state the whole time of conversation. Rest is excellent. Keep up the good work. Thanks

re put on hold and conference in another number .. disconnect from original call doesnt work .. was left hanging and had to reboot cellphone to disconnect re the phone inbound vs outbound arrow color many people are green-blue color blind change the arrow color of one to eg bright yellow ADDITIONALLY .. the GROUPS folder is completely missing when looking for someone to call .. it would be handy to have this located immediately below favorites

I got this app because stupid Google updated their phone to something really childish, space-wasting and awful. I hate developers who keep changing and complicating interfaces to justify their wages, keep it as it was! A phone is a phone. The phone app should be simple, clear and straightforward: this one absolutely is. Well done Fossify.

Please provide support for multiple SIMs. I wanted to link and assign all my business contacts to one SIM and all other contacts to my personal SIM and this is not possible now. This feature could be useful to many others. And it would be useful to change the swiping of Green icon to upside to answer the call which is common in most mobiles else it is confusing to swipe to the right. At least give the option to swipe up or right.

Full 5*..but need to add some really handy features like block private numbers.. Currently only option is block unknown & hidden numbers... Also need to add spam blocker automatically(with auto reject) .. Can't you guys add auto caller identity like True caller(needed in current time) .... Also phone must lock after we end any incoming or outgoing calls just like default phone app for security... Ui clean but little slower when switching ootions.. BTW great app.. Love from bharat (India 🇮🇳)

It works well except for one scenario which for me I'm going back to my previous dialer. If your in another app and then answer the call as expected the dialer comes to the forefront. Once the call ends my expectation is that I'll be back at the app which I was previously using. Not with this, after finishing the call the app remains open and I have to switch back to my previous app. No thanks. Also don't like you can swipe the popup notification away when recieving a call to answer..

Unusable. When you receive a call, if you have 2 sim cards installed, the popup to select which sim to use doesn't show up, which means you can't send or receive calls, which is the main function of the app. DO NOT INSTALL IF YOU HAVE 2 SIM CARDS. Also the scroll function for each letter on the side doesn't work for me. It just shows a question mark. Disappointed because the interface is really good. I wanted my grandma to use it

I like it a lot, except for one major gripe: if someone calls and doesn't leave a voicemail, I get no notification that I had a missed call. I would have to go into recent calls and see it myself (but would have no reason to look, since I didn't know anyone called). Notifications for the app in my phone settings are turned on.

There's no visual voice mail support. The call screen UI looks very dated with its chunky icons especially compared to the dial pad, which looks crisp and has small characters. There's also no audio emoji support but that's not a major factor. The contact screen looks strange having the alphabet grouped on the right side as opposed to the left, which is there your contacts name and photos are. It's not bad, it works, but it's not practical to use when there are so many other choices out there.

Ooof.. I.. used to like this app.. until I found out that it hasn't been notifying me of incoming calls, hasn't been notifying me of voicemails to the point where it maxed my inbox to where I then could not even receive any more voicemails.. It resulted in my trash services being terminated because there was a billing issue and they couldn't get ahold of me to let me know. 👍 Just found out today.. after months. Uninstalled, sadly. Just going to stick with the stock app for a while.
