After the second level a gear is placed next to the main one that is frozen unless you watch an ad. doesn't seem so bad except it slows your mind gear down like each gear touching it does but this means you play at a major disadvantage unless you watch and ad. Which is pretty much forced ads. A great concept brought down by greed.

Day 1, game was an alright time waster. Large enemies have a larger attack reach than your units so it felt bad until you could flood them in later waves, passives ranged from useful (faster gears/more money) to useless (hp, final wave boss 1 shots all). Day 2 the game "updated" to current version. Loss of skills which didn't even feel impactful in the 1st place. Can't even progress past wave three of current chapter since my units are being 1 shot by sword units now. Feels like time wasted.

this game would be fun. But it's ad based, and it glitches alot. somedays my archers won't shoot arrows and my abilities are unavailable. like the ability icon is gone and so is the icon to upgrade abilities. I changed it to 1 star because now it impossible to win without watching 4 or more ads each round. (This game has become a money grab)

Whenever you power your gears there's a chance that your entire array will be disabled. It is supposed to produce soldiers and it doesn't when it is disabled. The game also lags massive amounts and does not function as intended when you produce too many soldiers, reducing the framerate massively until it looks stationary. The game needs massive amounts of work for it to hold a candle to any other game. Do not play this game if you want to have fun, it causes more frustration than it is worth.

really fun game as far as mechanics go it's a great time killer. However my only major issue with the game is that on some levels it starts you off with a frozen power up gear RIGHT NEXT to the spinner. You have to watch an ad in order to make this gear usable and it is so in your face about it. it's not even a "oh watch this ad to get some more energy" NO it literally inhibits your gameplay and on some levels forces you to watch an ad to beat it. 2 stars fix this and you have a 5 star game.

The game is fine overall. The problem I have is: 1. ads. (However I've excepted this being the way they get money without customers buying currency. they're not nearly as bad as other games.) 2. the massive lag caused by having a lot of gears. 3. a major glitch that makes it so your troops don't spawn and your launchers don't launch. it's happened to me 8 times now. Refuse to play until the game is fixed.

My main complaint is that I cannot skip things that want ads, so I am effectively punished for working places with low signal. That keeps it from being a five star. Large chunks of ice make play harder unless I can watch an ad. but, a lot of times my network won't allow it. most games let you buy "skip tickets" of some kind, but not this one.

horrible taking away the skills. it was a good way to help with the bigger guys early on when you don't have many resources now without watching all the ads for buffs I'm always taking damage first 3 or 4 waves. being able to stop them for a second or 2 was extremely helpful. especially since they one shot most units and the ones the don't they knock them back and get killed instantly on the next swing. shorter ads. additions to skill tree like increase starting silver so you don't have to watch

Squandered potential. The game loop does not vary, and is incredibly predictable for the first 5/12 waves. I've played dozens of quests and they've all been nearly identical. Just as you build momentum, the quest is over and you start from scratch. There are no interesting choices. The only real challenge seems to be that sometimes they force you to start with your worse units, so you get demolished. The upgrade tree is wild. 100 diamonds for 200 coins is devious work.

The game started off interesting but quickly became boring. However, some of the upgrades and gears don't work, and the game goes from boring to suddenly to stupidly difficult after a while. I had tier three units getting one-shot by tier two units while my units barely did anything to the enemy. In fact, in most cases, my units couldn't even get close or get a shot off before dying despite all the buffs I gave them and all of the debuffs I gave to the enemy.

I like it a lot, no forced ads, all the ads are watch to get rewards; HOWEVER, once you get to the last level of world 4 the balance becomes extremely tipped in the enemies favor. There needs to be some MASSIVE balance changes. "Elite" gears you can get shouldn't be one shot by Big enemies, the big ranged enemies shouldn't be able to an AOE hit and knock back thus hitting everything in a group for 1900 dmg killing every soldier, including the elite ones. Will bump to 5 stars if changes happen

This game used to be fun to play. It was repetitive, but I still liked it. They updated it yesterday and now no matter what I do I can't win a level at all. It's no longer fun and I'm just getting mad when I play. Not to mention there's now glitches sometimes that the enemies run across the gears and my guys can't even try to hit them.

The game is relatively easy the first 3 zones, but the second you move into the 4th zone, it gets pretty difficult. It's kind of impossible to win without watching ads to get extra silver or extra gears, which is obnoxious because sometimes the ads are like two minutes long.

Meh? Right off the bat it's noticeable that enemies have a longer swing, more noticeable noticeable comparing big minions. Big enemy can swing a half inch to inch away while your big guy can only swing 1/4 to half inch. Enemy scaling is a bit wonky, certain waves in early chapters are much harder than waves later in that same chapter causing premature losses. Resource farming is a bit odd, would rather get xp per minion type to level vs using coins.

it was great until it updated today... it was my new favorite time waster, but they nerfed it and now I can't kill a single opponent in the first rounds. even if i do get past the first round by allowing damage to my castle, I haven't even gotten close to killing the boss. I do think it needed a little bit of balance, but this is just not fun. I keep opening it, hoping for a change, but I'll be uninstalling it soon

While I want to like this game, I have to agree with the ads and the balancing. I'm on (or was as of the time of this review) chapter 2, and so far, I can't even beat it. It sucks that you can't get unlock the other unit but be stuck with either infantry or the archer. With enemies popping our rapidly and bosses capable of one shot, there's no winning this without grinding. I will have to uninstall, unfortunately. Better games to play than this one.

It seems fun, but I can't even get through the tutorial because the ads keep freezing in between levels. the first one always works, the second one has worked a couple of times, the third one has never worked. It starts to load the ad, but then hangs on the loading screen with the spinning icon. There is no way to back out of it. Just have to close the game and reopen, and that restarts the tutorial. Can't even get to a point I can contact support!

I mean, meh? It's an interesting game with sort-of innovative gameplay, but it's extremely repetitive and there are ads EVERYWHERE. Ads during levels, ads between levels, ads for upgrades, ads for resources, ads for buffs, you name it. And the ads here are REALLY LONG. Many, if not most, exceed 30 seconds. Ultimately, this really isn't worth your time.

So this game is great at passing time and has a decent design. But I have a few issues that get more and more annoying as time moves on. The first is that there is no skill expression, maybe use more map patterns and add more unit gears to the shuffle. The second is that the units get so weak after you get the wolf rider it is insane. If you dont get him round 1 then you will lose. maybe buff the other units and make then more apparent.

The overall mechanics of the game is solid, and the lack of forced ads is a blessing. I always approve of games without forced ads. But the difficulty creep isn't a creep at all. I went from being able to easily handle chapter 4, quest 5, to being unable to get past wave 4 of chapter 4 quest 6. Like, absolutely OBLITERATED. I don't expect to win every time, but to go from absolutely DEMOLISHING to getting trounced THAT BADLY in a single level of progression is not good design.
