Beautifully illustrated, perfectly voice acted, and overall a wonderfully imaginative combination of silly and serious. This game is wonderful. It's controls translate well to a touch screen, and the puzzles were the right level of just challenging enough to make you think but not so hard you get frustrated with it. I definitely enjoyed it and recommend it to anyone who enjoys puzzles, platformers, or a light anime.

This looks and sounds amazing! It is a great idea for a game. If only it wasn't bugged to high heaven. I've seen the background disappear after going back to the main menu then reloading, The intro cutscene starting and stopping like stop motion and the worst of all, If you enter the watchtower again after you get your wings then you will lose your wings which effectively softlocks you. And this is just the demo. So, what does that say about the full game?

Impressed A really great story. The story is so imaginitive and really draws you in. The choices can cause different outcomes, so there's a replayability factor- which is always nice in a game like this. There are a few cinematics that are a little too long, and no way to speed them up or skip them, which would be a nice feature for those who are only interested in thd game-play. Aside from that, it's truly an amazing game. Well worth the play time and the few bucks it cost for the full game.

Pretty nice change up to your "Everyday time killer" of a game you're used to playing, that's for sure! "Forgotton Anne" is an immersing game that draws you in with both interactions as well as environmental controls. Great soundtracks, imagery, and animation are just the icing on the cake! Plop in your favorite headphones and you're instantly immersed. The storyline is pretty good as well. Way to think outside of the box with this one!! Great job!!

I really enjoyed playing this game, I loved the interaction. There were a few times that things glitched and I had to restart the scene again. The part where you're trying to get the lost pieces to help you was a bit frustrating because at one point they completely disappeared but they came back after I closed the game and started again. I also wasn't able to make the last choice... it forced me to go with the old guy to the Ether. Overall, it had an original interesting story & lovely art.

I really love the concept of this game. I love the art and the flow. But the controls took a little bit getting used to. I dont really progress faster than a snails pace. I dont really want to wait for things to happen while i am holding onto controls for an indefinite amount of time. I mean, right at the begining i dont understand why i am still holding past 30 seconds for the reverser to load. I dont see any change to know something is happening.

This is a really great game and the art, music, and voice acting is amazing. There is one thing though that I am upset about. On a certain part of the game (the left and right mechanism with the lost peices) it seems like there is a bug somewhere. Everytime when I'm close to getting out there isn't enough lost peices on the thing or there are no lost peices at all. I watched gameplays to see if there's did the same thing, but the peices would usually go away instead of shoot up somewhere.

Incredible story, animation, and maybe the best voice acting in gaming. 2 complaints: touch controls don't do the physics any favors. For a platformer, you really feel Anne's weight when jumping and running and stopping. Without physical buttons, it's sometimes extremely frustrating to move precisely. I also found that if my phone screen shut off while the game was paused, I would be kicked back to the main menu and lose as much as 10 minutes of progress since the last autosave. Otherwise 10/10

Haven't DLed full version yet, but I plan to! Even from demo I can tell, this game is a masterpiece... Except that the controls are quite imprecise, as many reviews mention. It's a shame bc this is clearly a magnificent game otherwise but controls on a platformer are such a critical part of the experience. Mostly I was frustrated with walking vs running input & since speed affects jumps it makes things challenging & not in a good way. Still, great game & clearly very deeply thought out.

Amazing game. Beautiful graphics, it's very unique and immersive. Easy and relaxing to play (but some of the puzzles are difficult). It's not super high stakes so you won't die from jumping off something tall, or not completing something in time. Nothing you do will end the game early and you won't "lose", so you don't have to worry about that. You just need to make choices, do puzzles, and progress through the story. It's a good story, lots of content and definitely worth a play-through or two.

The graphic style is amazing. I felt like I was in a Miyazaki film. Voices and sounds are amazing. This should have been more point and click. Seriously a 5 star game that has clunky platforming, at least on mobile. That's my 2 star complaint. I spent more time trying to jump on crates than puzzles. Maybe not make the gaps so unforgiving. The world is great keep it up, probably the best looking and sounding adventure game on market. Fix some of the early platforming maybe.

I first found out about the PC version on the Unity website years ago, instantly fell in love with it, and bought it as soon as I could. I love the well-written characters and story. The animation style is beautiful. The style allowed for a nice control scheme (tip: jump when going down stairs). Overall, a beautiful game and highly, highly recommend it.

Perfect graphics & voice acting. Intriguing storyline from the get go. BUT the controls are absolutely maddening! I haven't been this annoyed & frustrated in a LONG while, I had to uninstall it for the sake of my sanity. Impeccable graphics, storyline & voice acting mean nothing if you can't actually play the game. Hopefully they tweak the controls to be better suited for mobile devices, the way most "point and click adventure" games do. Fix that & I'd pay whatever for it, it's worth the price.

About an hour in and I'm loving it. Graphics are gorgeous and the animations are beautiful (magnum's walking animation is brilliant). One of the few games I've played where I'm actually excited to meet each new character. Voice acting is really well done for everyone I've come across. Controls can be a little wonky at times but still spot on most of the time. Well done guys, very impressive! 👍

I almost gave up on this game bc of the frustrating controls & infrequent checkpoints. BUT I still have to recommend this game now, after finishing. So immersive, & quite touching. My main gripe is that it doesn't save regularly enough & kicks you out if you switch briefly to another app - you will lose all progress since the last checkpoint, & you can't skip through dialog you've already watched. But...it's so gorgeous, with phenomenal engaging voice acting/music/story..I strongly recommend it.

The controls are a bit evil at times... But the game is so much fun, that it makes up for it. Sometimes it would piss me off so bad, I had to stop. When I returned later, the controls seemed more compliant. All in all... The story, graphics, the mind trippy imaginative scenes (esp. in those odd time caves...) dude... I've never dropped acid, but I would imagine those time loopy caves MUST be what it would be like! A total mind fk! I was very impressed!! 😄🤙😄👍😄👍

A wonderful game, with an intriguing story. I always really appreciate a game that has no ads or in game purchases. The story was really interesting, the controls felt good once I got used to them, the art style is anime. Theres even replay value, as your actions change the story, and I believe their are 2 different endings. If you're on the fence about trying this game, just do it. You wont be sorry. I hope to see more games like this from this developer. About to start me 2nd playthrough. A+

I finally finished this game and it has a good number of bugs that require a forced-restart from the beginning of a level in order to get it to work correctly. I reported them to the developer but never heard back despite his comments below. It's very frustrating to know what to do but be unable to accomplish it simply because this generated-level didn't generate enough of pieces in order to work properly. If I was rating this game on the animation, I'd rate it 5 stars. I'd give it 4 stars for the platforming aspects, when they work. The story is 3 stars until the end, when it's a 1 star. This is definitely a nihilistic story, and it does a disservice to anyone who's been adopted. The large number of bugs within the levels, and the lack of being able to save other than at save points also rates it a 1 star for me. 3 stars average?

This would have been a 5 star but there were minor game mechanic problems- navigating stairs was sometimes a problem, and platforming was just plain annoying at times. Other than that it looked great, the story was good enough to keep me playing, but sitting through long dialog sequences was my least favorite part. You couldn't efficiently skim the lines if you're a fast reader because it only allows for a weird fast forwarding feature which cuts some lines and leaves in others.

Beautiful game, but there are some issues with the mobile version. The main issue is with the controls. They are far too sensitive, and cause issue with gameplay at times, especially when needing to do rather finicky jumps, or trying to walk to just the right spot to bring up an action. Other than this, the game is beautiful, with a great story, and high replay value
