This app was awesome for the first few months of my PAID subscription. I signed up for this app as an alternative to an app that went out of business last year. However, I've recently learned they have no customer service or tech support that will quickly address any issues that you may have with it. I just finished entering all my receipts for the month of December 2020, and then began the report process. I was able to create the PDF file in 3 separate files since there seems to be a weird MB limitation that doesn't really make sense, but that is minor and non consequential, then I tried creating the XLS report and somehow neither the app or the web version could create.. When I looked for tech support all I got was a 'feedback' form followed by an email sent to me essentially saying thank you for telling us there's a problem, and nothing else. I did like this app quite a bit and I directed 5 others in my company to convert to this app as soon as they could as it's functionality is very user friendly. However, now I may have no choice than to find another app for myself, my 5 co-workers and the 10 new hires that I was going to train on this.

After loosing 8 Receipts, I had to change my system and find a new way. I've used this app for only 6 receipts yet but, it's seems awesome. 👍🏻👍🏻 And I'm not 100% familiar, but, man, easy- peasy-Japa-neasy so far! The app offers great info to get extra on-line help with web page links. So far, so good. Thanks, The bookkeeper will be impressed.

Great app! I needed something to organize my receipt sprawl for multiple purposes: personal business, income tax, etc. and Foreceipt does just this. The OCR function is surprisingly accurate, it even read half of a crumpled up receipt. In these situations where it's not accurate, it's a cinch to manually update. I plan to expand usage to check (multiple) credit card bills too. A couple of cons, the information is stored on their servers, so as far as tax documentation goes, I can't guarantee that Foreceipt will hold my receipts for the required 7+ years I need them kept for. I also had an incident during the first couple of days of installation: yes, emailing the receipts worked, however, they don't appear properly (for me) in the app. I emailed about 5 Home Depot receipts, one after the other, and all 5 show the same 1 receipt in the app. The amounts are correct, and the web interface shows the correct receipt, just the app is messed up. Also, these receipts are PDF, and the zoom-in feature available to photographed receipts doesn't work on the web. In other words, for these emailed PDFs - there is no way for me to read the receipt other than going back to the original-original receipt. The work-around is to photograph them (yes, you can photograph the screen - it works!), but still, it's a feature they advertise that should work as promised. Feature request would be to build some summary information into the search feature. The reports are a bit cumbersome as noted by other reviewers, and for the credit-card checking use-case, probably simpler to use than to generate a report. I am also not a fan of the subscription model, but would rather pay one-time for a superior version.

There are minor issues with scanning some bills where the information it adds from bills is incorrect but mostly I love the app. The scanning works well majority of time. Unlike other apps with this feature it's not geared only for business users so i dont have to go through the hassle of manually tracking personal expenses. But if I need to the option for business use is there instead of being the default. It shows my stats too and has adequate number of categories.

Last week I followed the instructions to migrate all information to the new app. Ended up all my records are erased and my access to the legacy app is denied. Neither i could login to the web version. Update as at 10 Jan 25, the Help Team processed my case professionally and had gone the extra miles to resolve the issue. A very happy man. Thanks for Foreceipt's professionalism and attention on this. I like the new App very much. The AI powered features are super cool.

The free account is practically useless it is so limited in the number of transactions. You can't split expense on one receipt to two categories without scanning the same receipt more than once. Pretty expensive for the paid plans considering the limitations. I'm out. For an app designed for mobile devices, the website is horrible to work on using my phone.

Looks like a potentially great replacement for Wave Receipts (appears to use the same OCR engine). But unfortunately, certainly for users in Australia, it has a major showstopping flaw. In AU the sales tax (GST) amount has to be shown separately on a receipt, but the receipt total already includes the tax. This app is adding the sales tax onto the total again, so the scanned receipt amounts are all incorrect as the tax has effectively been added twice! Cannot see an option to switch off adding sales tax to the total. Manually correcting every scanned receipt is a total showstopper. Suggest you look at adding a setting option to switch off auto adding tax.

Easy to enter and review paper receipts. I like that you can enter receipts from email. Would be nice to have a feature where it recognizes when you accidentally enter it twice. Find the CSV bank transactions import a bit hard to use which was a big reason I tried the paid version out. Pretty limited with the free version, paid version would be worth it if CSV option was easier to navigate.

I started using the free version after a friend recommended Foreceipt to help make my tax-life more efficient. I really valued the reporting, it simplified matters beyond my initial expectations. It's becoming an essential tool for daily tracking every penny I earn and spend, my 24/7 bookkeeper. It's the app I never knew I needed, and it's now an indispensable resource and record-keeper.

I have an android. After 4 days of dealing with Support I am canceling my subscription & have downloaded another app much more compatible with my android. The 1 positive is the Support crew does respond quickly & tries to be helpful. After 4 days of frustration I was out of patience & moved on.

I logged in today to find ALL of my receipts gone and the app was renamed "Foreceipt Legacy." I have used this app for over three years and this was the year I needed to upgrade from free, but not if it is this unreliable! I'm hoping those receipts are still in my folder in my Google account but this is unacceptable. I had given five stars prior when I had an iPhone. I logged in last in February and everything appeared as expected. Update 10/5/20: suggested legacy app still shows no files. :(

It holds some promise, but the big problem is somebody decided to use very thin and very faint text. This is nothing but a constant eye strain. The text is very light color, and as thin as possible, making it hard to read and there is no way to adjust this. An app isn't usable if you can't see it. I also really don't like that you have to go online to their website in order to add or change categories, instead of doing it through the app.

I've just started using the app but it is working perfectly and far better than the 5+ apps I tried before this one. Customer Service helping me get up and running was phenomenal. They responded to 3 emails on Christmas Day!!! UPDATE: I just spent the past 2 days uploading receipts for all of 2019 and 2020 and the app works perfectly. I love that I can either upload an image or send any email receipts to my dedicated foreceipt inbox. I'm so glad I found this app. I'm never going to have to stress about tax time again!

Good to take pics of your receipts & manually categorize them. At 1st the verifying part worked, but has not for a long time now. I don't need that part anyways. I like it so I don't have to keep all the paper receipts. Most places I've ever done a return accepted the pic of receipt & were able to scan barcode from receipt off the photo on my phone, so thanks! Good app.

I would like it if it worked right. It won't let Me enter anything manually. Correction, I can enter things to make edits, but it won't save the edits. When I enter something like fixing the price, Or what category it should go under, when I click on the check mark to save it, it won't save. The reports creator will let me enter the dates but won't save the correct dates when I open the report. Can you fix this? Because otherwise I think this will be a great app and a huge help.

I have been loving this app to track my business expenses, because I'm 1099'd so I don't have a ton. However, I just went to add another receipt I found for June and I got a message I've reached my max for the month. I've entered 5 receipts for June and none for July. Previous months I've entered way more. So this is the game? You start limiting the # until we pay? Wish I had known before I stored everything in here all year long. Live and learn. Find a new app people.

I've been using this for over 2 yrs now, and I still love it. I use it every day to keep track of all my receipts. It nearly always pulls the total, merchant name, and date from the receipt (even when they are hard for me to even see). Best receipt app out there. Edit 1/18/25 App has really declined. Takes 24 hrs or longer to process most times now. I'll be getting rid of my premium subscription and looking elsewhere if it doesn't improve.
