So far I've had a great experience using this app compared to other app like uTorrent and BitTorrent. I bought the pro versions for them because I was having trouble setting the file path to the root of my SD card. For some reason they make it difficult or impossible to do so, because of some kind of OS version restrictions. But flud does it perfectly no problems. The ui is simple but not too hard to figure out. Fluid has probably won over my loyalty.

This is an overall good torrenting app. I reccomend disabling NAT-PMP and UPnP for mobile data usage, and getting a frequently updated tracker list no matter what you do, and open your free connections to around 9999, this doesn't affect anything. This app does have some minor issues- it doesnt shut off using the time management, and it also is a battery hog. It has occasional ads, but they can be shut off and don't happen until maybe 20G. Good app, not perfect. Fine for the job.

Exceptional video downloader. Not only does it always work (which isn't always the case with video downloaders), it always works very well. The developers created an easy to understand UI, that enables quick and clean downloading from a few simple steps, and it's free. Truly, what more could you want? When video downloading, you don't want a tiny stream, you want a Flud.

One of the best I've used. My only complaint is random video advertisements when I try to remove a torrent or shutdown the application. I'm fine with banner ads, but a video that I'm not able to skip when trying to perform rudimentary tasks is a bit much, so I've got to take away a star for it. Past that, it's a great, streamlined, easy to use program.

Not working AT ALL since a few months ago. It won't start the downloads for anything which are healthy and being seeded in the range from 10 to hundreds of seeds. Other apps work, though. So, I've been using them as an alt. for a while, but it's disappointing. In terms of aesthetics, settings, etc, Flud is easily the best & my favorite since the day I got it. Even the ads, by which I mean they aren't as annoying as others. I even had it set to default for months since it stopped working, but...

The best torrent downloader I've found yet. No ads. The in-app search feature isn't really ideal. I find it's simpler to just use the browser and get my torrents from there. However, all I have to do is click "get this torrent" and it automatically loads it to Flud. I dont have to go searching for it. A word of WARNING, though, is to make sure your files are safely stored somewhere other than your device and that you can access them remotely. Removing the app removes your data. Not sure why.

Love it! Suggestion: the "plus" symbol should include a description "add torrent" or "download torrent." It took me a minute to figure out, but that's something you only need to learn once. Newcommers might get frustrated or confused is all I am saying. OLED mode would be cool too. But overall I love the simplicity of the app (while still retaining more advanced functions). I've never had problems with the connection. Has been more reliable than my PC clients throughout the years.

Hate to say it because it used to be one of the best, but it's bearly sufficient now. For instance, all completed torrents have a "bin" extension that one has to manually remove before the files can be used. Also, completed torrent files are moved to the "Finished" section (as expected) but then shortly after are only listed in the "Queued" section. It just acts bizarre. It may be abandoned because it hasn't been updated in years.

I've been at it with torrents since 2005, used uTorrent most often (PC's only) until last year when I found uTorrent for Android lacking. I tried Flud and am very happy I did; it is superior to every other torrent app for Android thanks to its better customization possibilities and consistency. Plus, its interface is intuitive (simple but effective) and the developers are quite classy when it comes to the necessary ads, which thanks to their placement I hardly notice. Outstanding work!

It was a great app but lately they've added commercials + trying to trap you into clicking on them. The X icon isn't responding, the commercial is in a full screen that doesn't show you the bottom of the screen with Android's "back" and "home" options, so you are trapped. No matter where you click it goes to the commercial link. REMOVING THE APP.

TL;Dr Slow! This program has slower download speeds, and more sudden problems connecting to peers, when compared with other torrent programs on the same device that are configured using the same settings. My biggest complaint about Flud is that it has a tendency to suddenly stop communicating with healthy swarms. I used to think this program was acceptable because it seems popular, then I tried some of the alternatives and personally found tTorrent to be a superior program by every measure.

Great app. Just wondering if you plan on making a refresh button for it to recheck files that are being downloaded? If so that would be great. Some torrents just need to be rechecked. It use to recheck files all the time when I open the app up. But now it doesn't anymore. Other then that its a great app for downloading torrents and magnets. Thanks.

The only 2 things I dislike, is that it doesnt allow easy or seemless changing of directories when getting a new torrent download. It wants to use the default all the time. I try to change to my SD card, and it doesn't like that. And the 2nd thing, is that It constantly asks me to review/rate their product, even tho I already have, long ago. Otherwise, this is by far the best Torrent download client I have used in mobile. (sent an email to the listed email address... Waiting for response)

Ads ruined the app. Now you have to pay for an ad-free version, which is disappointing. I preferred the app for its lack of intrusive ads, but pop-up ads for certain actions have ruined the experience. Keeping ads at the bottom was fine, but pop-ups are too much. As a longtime user, you've lost me. An optional donation-based version would have been a better approach for those who love the app.

Download now! All these years later, this is still THE NUMBER ONE torrent DL on the play store, and every other android store. It's smooth, it's user-friendly, it never crashes on me or has any kind of an issue whatsoever. Disconnects the second your vpn drops out, a must! Also, you aren't bombarded with full-screen ads everytime you click something. These developers deserve a medal. Every developer on this platform should be looking to you guys in regards to how to do this app thing correctly.

Previously was one of the best torrent clients on Android. Recently they've added intrusive ads every time you try to delete a torrent. And half the time now when you go back to the app afterward, the list is messed up. It will say a torrent is at 0% and searching for Metadata. You have to press start to have it re-find the files. And then it's place in the download list becomes out of order. Using S22 Ultra.

The last update completely broke it. I've always had it set so when a torrent is finished it moves it to a different folder called "completed" But after the last update only the torrents folder gets moved to "complete" but not that folder's contents. So if I download an album, when it's done the album folder will go to "completed" But none of the songs are there, I have to look through my download folder for it, and check within flud to see if its actually completed. All automation is gone...

Queue management has always been absurdly tedious (and this would be an easy fix, adding something like an option to move a torrent(s) to a specific place in the queue, where you can enter a number). With lots of torrents, moving a torrent location in the queue - which should take a second or two - may take a minute+ with the current terrible design. The rest of the app has been decent. Recent updates have brought in video ads, and bugs - torrents disappearing, and falsely marked as 'complete'.

Pretty useful. uTorrent's latest updates have been absolute garbage and have crippled the app. So I was looking for a replacement, and this is by far the most efficient, streamlined, and user friendly Torrent client I've been able to find. Lots of options and settings to allow downloading specific files, sequential file downloading, and all sorts of other features. Ads aren't too bad either. They tend to be somewhat rare. And unlike uTorrent, you can close it without having to watch an Ad lol.

working well so far! after some testing the only issues have been with the actual torrent media itself so hopefully will continue to work well. will update again later if anything changes :3 would be nice if some of the setting had little info blurbs to explain what each of the trackers and whatnot are for less technologically inclined, but that's about the only thing, really. it does what it's needed to do!
