I've been using this app for a few years now with no issues. However, recently, they straight up cancelled my reservation without an email and kept the payment. I had a place rented at my destination so I was forced to pay more and arrive much later due to this. Rather disappointed they don't even bother to reach out to you.

they are fine to book, but if any changes to trip needed you can't keep same additional options like selecting seats. only way to re-select seats is to cancel and redo trip, but they only want to give you vouchers, not cash back/refunds, AND if you cancel for any reason other then bus being delayed for 120 min, then they keep a fee (for me it was a $4 hit). A bit sketchy and scammy.

The app itself is fine, they have an awful cancelation policy though. Wouldn't suggest it if you are one who is often subject to last minute changes. Even changing the date of your trip may cost you anywhere from $5-20. They don't do refunds at all only credit toward another ride even if you won't be able to actually use it. Overall, cheap and fine if your plans are 100% set in stone.

The bus either arrives hours late or leaves early. In the case that it leaves early, there are no options to change tickets and customer service is very lax and uncooperative. I use intercity travel several times a year and this company has been the worst experience I have had thus far. I sincerely hope that there are some major changes but, until then I wouldn't advise any friends or family to use this service.

great app, straightforward and very easy to use. I love flixbus, it's so easy to use to travel, and it feels quite safe and very comfy for bus travel. no issues on any of my trips, even when my own lack of planning and coordination made it totally reasonable to expect huge catastrophic issues. the drivers always do their very best to make sure I get where i need to go, as long as they have the ability to help me.

The app is OK, but when you complete payment a screen pops up with the message "Reservation Expired. The tickets have been removed from the cart. Search again." This is confusing because it sounds as if the transaction didn't complete. They should just say "Thank you for your purchase. Please check your email to download your ticket(s)" or something like that. So, I went through the process a second time and I got billed again. Having a devil of a time undiong this mess.

I have used this app 2 times so far. Besides the bus being inexpensive, it has not been reliable. I have experienced them being 2 hours late for a pick up, bus drivers being rude, and being charged for a ticket that I did not receive and having to argue to get my money back. Overall not pleased with the service and I think I'll go back to Amtrak. At least they have been reliable.

Cancelled bus with no warning. No way to get a refund through the app. No phone number that I could call. I was just stranded, with no help to get me to my destination. The only offer I could access inside the app was to provide a "voucher" (which wouldn't get me to where I needed to go!), and it had a mandatory $20 "cancelation fee" for the trip, even though THEY WERE THE ONES WHO CANCELLED MY BUS an hour before it was suppose to leave AND LEFT ME STRANDED ON A SIDEWALK IN SEATTLE.

Tedious and tricky. In order to change a seat assignment you have to cancel and rebook. But if you rebook within 30 minutes you are charged a cancel fee. It also did not allow me to use the same credit card for 2 different bookings. I cleared cache, used multiple browsers and spent way too long booking a bus reservation. This was all on the laptop. When I downloaded the app I was able to submit payment. I noticed that there is no accept terms of payment on the website and probably the issue.

It would be great if when booking a trip I could actually see the entire months calendar. However it cuts off the last week of every month. Just wonderful. Along with the fact the "locate my bus" never works. It does not make a very good decoration for the app, just in case there was any confusion or questions the developers were not quite sure about.

Only use if your travel is flexible. My trip there was great! Pick up was ontime and dropoff was as close to ontime as was possible with unexpected traffic. However, on the way back my bus was cancelled twice without any reason given and I had to find an alternate way back because I couldn't risk later buses also being cancelled. It would be best if the app would send a push notification for cancellations - luckily I happened to check my email and came across the first cancellation to rebook

App is clumsy and incomplete. 1. Company has multiple service departure/arrival locations, but app will not tell you where they are by address without going thru ticket purchase process. Even then you have to dig through for details. Leaving customer to delete unnecessary ticket. 2. No apparent way to track bus location/progress/travel issues, so that you can gauge time to pick up your party. GPS is to strong and narrow. Once I set up an account, it would not let me see other locations easily.

Very user-unfriendly. Lacks numerous fundamental features: No real-time bus ETA No current location of a bus. No option to amend / change reservation (or a seat). Does not show any details of a route (e.g. stops, layovers, etc.). -- Why are there no route details and not a single stop shown in between?? Looks like something from the 1980s!.. The app seems unfinished.

Multiple times I have gone to book on the app and my partner has looked online at pricing. We have noticed a significant difference in how much they charge on the app versus on a webpage. I would assume it would be cheaper through the app if anything but it was not. This seems pretty shady. I have had great experiences with flixbus years ago so I'm unsure what has happened recently.

The app doesn't show you where the bus is which can be frustrating when it's running late. There are text alerts but I didn't get anything telling me my bus was an hour late. The service is great I just wish communication and app notifications were better for routes to ease with the stress of travel. That way I'm not standing on the street for 2 hours.

It's great and cheap... unless you're having payment issues. Prices close to the departure time go up to $42!!! For no reason other than to take advantage of people in sticky situations. Not to mention the bus was at maybe 40% capacity. I almost got stranded out of town because I couldnt a afford the extortionate prices. I was really disappointed after using it a few times already. Not gonna be using this anymore simply due to this unethical behavior.

The app doesn't allow an easy way to reach the customer support, which I believe is on purpose as the company is the worst monopoly with unreliable service, and ridiculous cancelation fees. My bus disappeared from the tracking map. I had to chat with the customer service to learn that they had no idea after almost an hour waiting in the cold. If you're getting rid of bus terminals and offices to reduce cost you better design a flawless app and an excellent customer support.

When your ride gets cancelled by their fault, the booking won't be updated in the app. There are no explanations why the trip was camcelled. If you plan to change for another schedule, It will require you to pay a cancellation fee (even though it's theri fault) causing you to rebook for a more expensive ticket plus the cancellation fee they charge you. To avoid the fee you have to call their assistance hotline and either refund or rebook the trip (with no additional fee).

FlixBus is very clean, with good seats and ample legroom. The breaks are efficient, catering to passengers' needs. However, the buses do not always arrive and depart on time. This can be inconvenient for passengers with tight schedules. Overall, FlixBus offers a comfortable and pleasant ride, but timing improvements are needed for a better experience.

App probably worse than the bus service and that's not great either. Once you buy tickets, if you don't save the QR code, its very hard to find. The ticket doesnt show up in the app. The search function does not work. I end up just doing a screenshot of the ticket. Which is fine but defeats the purpose of the app. Many passengers in NYC have issues with this, seen this many times. You should just be able to open the app and find the ticket. But this rarely works. Cheap service, cheap app.
