This could be such an awesome animation app. The bugs are just unbearable, it crashing every 2 seconds and constantly corrupting layers doesn't help the already long, repetitive animation process. While I'm in the discord server, there doesn't seem to be a lot being done to fix this issue.

I really used to love this app, I've used it around five years, but it's been making me extremely frustrated. I bought the paid features but of course now there's a subscription, which I get companys need to make money- but the most frustrating thing for me is the fact my app constantly crashes and restarts during animating, meaning I have to watch more adds to unlock features again. The app randomly gives adds DURING animating which is very annoying too. It feels like a fall from grace.

I was trying to make an animation and I wanted to add sound to it I made a smooth animation before so as I was adding sound to my animation it didn't really fit in with the animation so I tried removing the sound but since flip a clip doesn't have a proper tutorial. I didn't know how to delete the sound. It took a very long time trying to figure out how to delete the sound. There are random clips that I had to deal with and then I figured out that they weren't even a part of the animation

Would rate it better but for months upon months now there is a bug that wont let you add audio. Adding it just kicks you out of what you're doing. Saddened and disappointed that even after updating the app, (which i held off on), this bug has not been fixed. Added space to an app that no longer works. No idea why id buy premium to take logo off for YT videos if i cant add audio to the piece.

I like the app a lot and would have given it 5 stars but the one thing I have compliants about is that accounts don't sync up. I have 2 phones, one that doesn't hold a charge very well and one that is newer. The old phone has some nastalgia from 2020 that hasn't been finished animating and this phone only has my new animations. I reccomend a button that syncs up old accounts or maybe just atomatically sync up the same account so that I don't have to use a phone that doesnt hold charge very well.

I love it so much. I can not ever use another video make app after using this one. It has a ruler where you can hand draw lines, circle, square which is the most useful tool that no other app has. It also can estimate the same color so you don't have to make the color again. I love you flipaclip. You are best app ever for making videos!

Hello! I love the app and I've gotten better at using it. But there is one thing I just have to know, is this app meant for Chrome book? Every time I try saving a movie, no matter how long or how short the animation is it just won't save the movie and the app would crash. But on my phone movies and animations, both long and short were always saved to the phone. I've tried everything to get it to work and save the movie but nothing is working

It's good but I have bugs so that flipaclip will go all grey and delete my drawings and I will have to wait for flipaclip to restart. It's truly painful. Please fix this bug it's annoying and it's frustrating. I have also been using flipaclip for 3 years now, and now it's a struggle for a bug to destroy my animation. Thank you for your time.

The app is ok exept for one thing: the audio. Whenever I want to import a custom audio it tells me to watch an add (or buy premium but I'm not doing that). I watch an add, I put in the audio I want to import, it starts loading and loads up to 20%, then it crashes. It's been doing this over and over again and I can't get the audio into the animation. Game devs plz fix this.

I've been using this app for almost 4 years now, and i can say it has improved, but with costs... I can only stay in the app for up to 60 seconds before it earases my frames and kicks me out back to my homescreen. I've cleaned my phone to 80% which is a normal amount pf storage, but this app has worked far better at 100%. I've restarted my phone even and nothing has worked... Please, FlipaClip, do something about this ASAP.

Love this app! Only a slight issue, YOU need to Pay to remove the watermark when the animation is done. I do Warrior cat MAPS on YT, and don't have a good animation app, so I use flipaclip. But I don't wanna ruin it because of a watermark, so I need to scren record my animation, and ruins the quality. Maybe instead of paying to remove watermark, you pay for better pens, layers, and stuff like that, and just not do the watermark?

I'm glad to see that the issues in my previous review have been addressed over the years, however the new features have some awful bugs. The new brushes, erasers, and the new default eraser are bugged. I have attempted to contact support with these issues; but it doesn't seem to get through bots, without needing to wait on the app for a long period of time, because of you close it you will be kicked out of the support chat. The brushes are pixelated and unusable.

So I've been using this app since it got released, and one big thing I would like to say is the fact it never saves any animation progress when transferring to a new device. I've lost so many works that I've done for the past years all because it resets completely. And now that there's accounts made, I think it'd be rad if it saved all of your animations made regardless of the platform it was created on, to save many works. It's made me lose motivation for years, this is the only program I use.

The app is genuinely GREAT. But there is one thing id like to suggest. Selecting a certain part of the animation and putting it into the past or next frame. Don't get it? Here's an example. Say you've just made a drawing, everything doesn't really look good but the face. You select those parts of the drawing and paste it onto the next frame. But overall, it's good.

I've been using FlipaClip for a while. since the old days in 2016/17. I'd love to give it five stars but unfortunately this most recent update has left it to where I can no longer save my projects. What it will do is show the loading screen that makes me think its saving, go to a white or gray screen, and then the app reboots. I never get the project in my phones gallery or anything. I've tried clearing my cache and everything to no avail. This saddens me deeply. :(

Crashed on me multiple times, lost more than half of my progress. Was working on a animation that took me weeks, was super proud. It crashed and got deleted. Came back to the app EVERYTHING WAS GONE. But at least the app does what it's supposed to. My only reccomendation is... ALWAYS SAVE YOUR ARTWORK TO YOUR PHONE OR ANOTHER DEVICE!!! I probably just had a bad experience, but just be careful!

It's definitely good and it has potential as seen in the 2024 trailer, but it keeps crashing and stuff. Maybe it's the device im using (phone) but it keeps happening and I can't stop it. Other than that, pretty good. (Edit) I retract a star because when I go to add another layer when I have 3, instead of giving me the option to watch an ad to add another layer, it just forces me to buy Flipaclip+.

I would give this app a five, but ever since the new update, when I put in text the whole screen turns black, and the only way to turn it back is to get out of the project, and get back in. This is extremely annoying when I try to make animations with text. Please fix this. Other than that, this app is extremely useful, and easy for 2d animation. I recommend.

It honestly is the only animation app I could get comfortable with as a young child learning animation. It's been a while since those years, I quit for sometime but then got back into it. But ever since I started animating again, the app's been continuously lagging on me almost every minute I'm on it, deleting my frames and making the entire screen go black. It's making the app too frustrating for me to deal with, along with the ads which are too frequent for my liking, and play at random times.

The app is great to animate with, but there's way too many ads! I can hardly animate, and I still have ads even after I had my old FlipaClip premium. That premium was before the UI was updated and there were more features, and it wasn't a monthly payment. I never got ads until now, and it is very annoying. I also suggest using a selection tool like Ibis Paint X has to make shading easier by only drawing in the selected area. Alpha lock is nice but isn't the best to use.
