The UI is an absolutely crummy pig's breakfast. Duplicated content, confusing layout, random crashes, jarring elements that do not mesh with Android's chrome... The list goes on and on. Ugh!

The very best of the free flight trackers. The flight search is intuitive and useful. You don't have to know arcane airline codes or airport codes. You can just use the airline name and flight number, and it prompts you with a list to pick from. You can mark multiple flights as favorites so you can track them all from one page. I've tried a couple of other flight trackers with better ratings or more downloads. This one is better.

i love this app. not only do i use it to track flights if lived ones, but i use it to just watch flights sometimes. and see what their air speed is and altitude. if you zoom all the way out and look at all the flights crossing the us at any one time, it's breathtaking, it's unreal how many planes are in the air at any given time.

The app shows a bunch of info, including flights on the map. But the main reason why I payed for the app was to get notifications when a flight arrives or gets delayed. And these notifications NEVER work. Never. All permissions are granted, alerts for a particular flight configured, and yet it's quiet. No notifications never. Bummer.

This app really let me down today. It used to work. But, today when I would search for a flight by airline and number, it continuously showed me a flight from the year 2015. I cleared memory/cache and logged in again. It worked once and then no more. Back to showing me the 2015 flight. One time later, it worked once, the back to 2015. Why is 2015 information even there? I ended up having to use the airline's own website to get information.

Ever since you changed the vendor of satellite maps, the quality and speed went by the wayside. Terrible quality and extremely slow UPDATE 03/31/2019: Now on different phone, different networks, all maps can no longer be zoomed into details such as street details and features. Terrible refresh rate for maps as you zoom in. Blank tiles constantly. (Business subscription Feeder provider) for Florida.

Great until it wasn't. Paid for no ads and was working fine on my Android, then it just quit working one day. No a/c displayed and I live in a very active flight area. Then couldn't even log on. Started getting communication errors. Forced stop & restarted. Nothing. Cleared app cache. Nothing. Uninstalled and reinstalled app. Still nothing. On cusp of just giving up and uninstalling permanently. Did I mention support is non-existant?

It seems to be a great app at first, paid to remove ads. Unfortunately when i was trying to register as new user. I kept getting the same generic error message, saying 'the username name is unavailable'. I have tried multiple options, and still getting the same result. At least tell me what went wrong in error message, so that I can fix it. Very frustrating for app I just paid for. And without login to the app, I can't even use 'flight alert'. Think twice if you're getting this app.

Have had this app for years. Really love it for the most part. Simple to use for a (normally) frequent flyer. Only two issues noted. 1.) The map display has become pretty cluttered showing all the private planes in the air. I'd like to see an option to be able to see just commercial/ cargo flights. 2.) Boeing jets don't always show correctly. Show up as "BBJ-3" alot of times instead of the actual plane type. Otherwise love the app!!

About a year ago was acclaimed by other pilots I met with as the best flight following app, and I'd agree. I did not rate it less than 5 stars because the reason it may be constantly stopping of recent may have to do with my phone. I forced stop, emptied the caches on all the apps and restarted, but still no joy (will not show flight progress map) . Although my SM-J337 (Android V9) is somewhat dated, I'd hate to upgrade only to experience the same problem on a new phone.

Good for free, some bugs. Two main ones I experienced are 1. In the Android app, if you change an alert to be for only one day, the summary still shows that it is alerting you indefinitely. 2. In the website, you can say how much of a heads-up you need on a flight. The default is 45 minutes, and you can change it, but if you "edit" again in order to see if your change stuck, it still shows 45 minutes.

App is generally functional; however, when viewing any given aircraft on the map, the position does not continuously update as it does in a web browser. In order to get an updated position, you have to refresh the page, usually multiple times. Also, whenever you select a flight, the map starts zoomed way out so you can see North and South America, instead of showing a more localized view of the aircraft and route.

Barely has information I need - not all information I'd like. Tends to freeze during flight tracking. Rarely do I prefer the desktop version but in this case I do. ----------------- OK, 2 years later ... web version of FlightAware is still a better choice. Quicker, more informative ... and doesn't use system resources when not in use. Not sorry, still barely 2 stars.

Being a chauffeur, this app has been really helpful! 😁 ...but sometime within the last month I can no longer see the recent searches unless I'm connected to Wi-Fi, which makes it harder to keep up to date shuttling pilots & crew. 🙁 Plus, apparently a few pilots have told me they're recently having problems, but I can't remember what those are (I just remember they're different issues than mine).

Works for the most part but the user interface could use a lot of work. Won't let me remove an item from "My Aircraft," a flight I'm tracking won't refresh, and just a clunky user experience overall. 2024/01/24 Updating to 4 stars. My review is probably a bit harsh. I guess I've become used to the interface and have come to rely on this app whenever we travel.

Good app! Always room for improvement. Very easy to use. Would like to be able to connect device to monitor or TV to see flight tracking info. Currently only see startup script. Would also like feature that allows you to hear flight chatter. (I currently use a separate radio for that). Lastly, would like a feature that allows a camera installation to capture pics of flights as they pass overhead. I live very near an active runway and military base.
