While the fixd app works and connects to my car, it fails to detect that 1) there is a warning light actively on for a failed tire pressure sensor; 2) the front turn signal on the drivers side does not function; 3) the wiper motor does not function; And a few other known issues. Because of this, the sensor is essentially worthless to me, and fails to produce any usable results.

App won't recognize my login any longer! It won't reset my password either! This is Useless!!! Was a great app idea but it is going commercial big time. I don't want to sign up for a monthly service but every screen makes me deny the subscription just to move on. Pswd reset never sends a reset email? SMH! So very frustrating! Historical info gets wiped with new updates which is just sad. Why even bother having this If one cannot use it?

Great investment!! You can store & use it it on up to 5 vehicles. The information it gives you about each code is great!! I would def recommend this to all my friends. It was a great money saver for me, because I could go straight to the exact problem. I'm a female, so this def prevented me from getting ripped off at the mechanics by them trying to have me pay for unnecessary parts & work. This was one of the best things I have ever Inveatwd my money on.

(update) I am throwing the scanner into the trash and I have removed the app from my phone. I can't even use it now without giving them an email address. This is absolutely dumb. this app is a little annoying. I just want some program to tell me the code being thrown by my vehicles computer system so that I can determine what needs to be done. Instead it wants to ask how many miles are on it and tell me when the next service interval is. I don't need all of that. I just need an OBD2 reader.

I'm very impressed with the app features. I want to explain that I find it very useful! It's simplicity and in depth explanation of the problems is top tier. You can't get that with a regular obd-II scanner However I'm having network issues. I shut my restartes my phone and realized it's the app that crashed. I think it'll be like this all night, I can only imagine trying to use it before the auction or buying a car

Very unsatisfied, I followed instructions to the t and and it replied back with nothing found, which means it found no problem with my car and when. In fact, there is something wrong with it. I requested my money back, and they're saying that I was never charged when, in fact, I was a charged $108.00 And I'm still in the middle of disputing on getting my refund. It's just downright ridiculous.

Nothing I can really add to the other complaints. I declined premium service and was charged a $99.99 yearly subscription fee anyway. The device works, so I simply don't understand why this company needs to resort to deciet to make money. I still haven't received a refund after repeated tries. Also, the company is noticeably absent from this review list. Wonder why.

Update - I am now using a OnePlus 12. Now the app is working. I like it gives you recommendations of what to fix at certain mileage and estimated costs. I haven't used all the features yet to give a full review. Old phone - Samsung Galaxy S22 ultra. This was working a few months ago. Now it will not connect to the sensor and will not scan. It won't let me add a second vehicle.

It came as expected, delivery was quick. Intact and unharmed, I plugged it in, fired the app up, and compared results to other diagnostics tools I own (best one I own is an Innova 5210 (about $150 4 years ago). Same results, just way cheaper. I 100% recommend this product. The developers behind it are working to facilitate a leave-in Diagnostics tool (and app) for an incredibly affordable price. I also had the $99 come out of my account. Got online, requested refund, and got it back. Great CS

A pretty cool product! Even without getting the full subscription, it tells me as much or more information as my husband's high tech computer reader gadget does? Just make sure you cancel the free trial before it charges you Customer service took care of it promptly and cancelled my next payment, so thank you! For $20 though, it's nice to have the information?

Was really excited when I first discovered this device/app. Ordered one up, got it, installed it, and found out that the only information I can get to from the ODB port is the stuff I can see on the console for the vehicle anyway...unless I pay them another $99/year for the premium subscription...then it supposedly tells me more. Marketing material feels a little misleading about you can really do with this thing out of the box without paying them more money.

If I can I will return it, I had to go through way too many hoops to use it and it would not read the codes until I had restarted the car and app multiple times (reconnecting the device each time). It's far from user friendly and took me a good 20-30 minutes to do what my other device can in 1 minute or less. I would strongly advise against buying this product. The ads for the premium service is obnoxious as well.

Although fixd is amazing and can do plenty of wonderful things for FREE, there are many advantages to having the premium which I've never thought I'd need, as a car person. However there is one very huge downside to the premium and that is the cost. Not only have I paid $40 for the device (granted service is free) but for premium (1yr) I have to pay another $100... That is NOT CHEAP. I understand subscription based services and have no problem however for $150 I should be keep those sevices 10yr

Ordered this OBDII for $20 (thanks to TikTok), and waited for my item to come. At about 10 days in, I got a notification my item was delivered, however, neither myself nor roommate recieved a package. I was also charged $99 for premium. I emailed them and they not only refunded the cost of premium but assessed that the device was lost im transition and promptly sent a new one, double checking my mailing address and so polite and helpful and very on top of fixing the mix up. Def recommend!!

Doesn't work. Can't even find the sensor to connect to the app. Even after deleting/updating the app + restarting Bluetooth on my phone, it isn't connecting. ALSO! The "14 day free trial" STARTS once you order... NOT when it arrives. It arrived today on Day 11 of the trial. Make sure you cancel it before you get billed. This is big let down.

This device works as described but I was shocked few days later to notice FIXD attempted payment of $99 from my credit card without warning, luckily CHASE flagged as fraud and stopped it. I looked again at the terms and saw no mention I would be unintentionally subscribing to their Premium plan so they are being underhanded to say the least. FIXD does provide in-app means to unsubscribe but it's unclear if they can be trusted not to attempt another credit card billing

Don't buy. They won't lett you end service/yearly payments. They use auto billing, and contact with employees is very difficult to maintain. Not sure if my instructions to end service were accepted. The time sensitive procedures are for their benefit. Beware! Scan wasn't so informative when I used it years ago. It may be better now.

DON'T DO IT unless you just need something to read the computer's output to you. Great idea in theory. In practice I'd rate zero stars if I could at this point. It was great when I got the sensor. Then it kept crashing. Then the subscription service offered unrealistic answers as fixes and estimates. NOW IT'S BILLING MY PAYPAL LIKE I DIDN'T CANCEL SUBSCRIPTION AND PAYMENTS TWO YEARS AGO.. READ THAT AGAIN-TWO YEARS AGO.

The product and basic service works as it should, but it seems they try to get your money through the premium service. Had the app and product for a while now and out of nowhere, I had to set it up all over again and I guess somewhere during the process, they snuck in a free trial that I must've missed. When the trial was up, they tried to charge me twice. So I'd look at other OBD2 readers for future people.

This device and app are WORTHLESS. Without premium, it lacks needed features and is constantly annoying you to get premium. If you are paying that much for premium, there are much better options. Scam alert. I though I was dismissing the premium subscription and the next thing I know is that they signed me up. I immediately cancelled the subscription and they billed my credit card anyway. The basic app does not tell you if you have driven enough for emissions to be valid Therefor WORTHLESS
