FirstMobile is the official mobile banking smartphone application from FirstBank. It provides convenient access to both financial and non-financial transactions by FirstBank account holders via their mobile phones/devices. The service is available to FirstBank account holders with Naira MasterCard and/or Verve cards.
The App is sleek and convenient to use – evident in its DIY enrolment process as all FirstBank customers with Verve and Naira MasterCards can begin using the App without having cause to visit a FirstBank branch. It is also poised to offer a more reliable and definitely more convenient digital banking experience, whilst complementing our plethora of lifestyle offerings.

Revamped UI/UX: Users now have a more exciting interface and experience.

Improved dashboard: This update enables us to give you a more personalized and customizable experience. The feature showcases high level display of the mobile banking user’s spending patterns highlighting the inflows and outflows in the user’s bank account, thereby helps in making better financial decisions.

Frequent transactions: This feature smartly aggregates the most frequent transactions (Transfers, Airtime purchase, Bills payment) a user carries out based on historical data and presents it to the user in a friendly manner. This allows the user to easily access his/her frequently completed transactions and re-initiate such with few clicks of button.

Top-up from contact: This feature allows the mobile banking user to “select from contact list” while carrying out transactions for Airtime recharge.

Favorites/Beneficiary management: This feature allows a mobile banking user to add new user as a beneficiary for Transfer, Bills payment and Airtime transactions. Favorites contacts can then be selected from the beneficiary lists and becomes readily available on transaction home page to easily complete transactions with just a few clicks of button.

Biometrics for transactions: Android users can now use their fingerprint to consummate transactions- An easier and innovative way to validate transactions.

Personalization: This feature allows the mobile banking user to personalize their dashboard and their beneficiaries for Transfers, Bills payment and Airtime transactions by uploading pictures.

The app is very good and useful. It's very handy for mobile transactions. However recently, the app started to display every transactions in red. Normally money in suppose to be green and money out red.

Do you guys hate Receipts??? Why is it that for someone to get a receipt of payment is so difficult. Someone can't just get a receipt after the transaction later. I can see that screenshot is now allowed. Unlike before. Please work on receipt generation. Thanks

Before this upgrade, one could not make screenshots while using the app and I loved it. I recently discovered that I could make screenshots as I like. Please revert to the previous mode where screenshots were not possible. Please do.

The app has been good but since I updated the app I can't access the mobile app any longer cos the fingerprint option is no longer there and my mPIN too is not working. Please this need to be looked into and rectified.

The reason we have this app is to make transactions with ease and it's working. I wish to commend First Bank for this innovations. I also would urge a review of USD charges of telecommunications companies that duplicates this function and make it optional. Some debits and credit alerts that are captured here are unnecessarily charged for by the mobile networks. Why do you have this app and still charge so much on SMS alerts? Make It optional. Much duplications targetted at frauding customers.

This so terrific, I can't even make a mobile transfer with the app. Each I time I tried to send to other Banks it says select account to debit and the option there is cancel because they whole screen blank with no button or the account to be selected

They should stop deducting money from people in the name of transaction levy, because I also checked my transaction history, I will keep on seeing that my account was deducted every time someone will send me money. Do they deduct people money because of incoming transactions. This is annoying and they should know that we are seeing that. I decided to delete my first bank account if I see such an attitude again. This is so frustrating and unbearable for me.

I downloaded this app and everything i have done to register is a complete debacle. What's more annoying is that the mobile pin i have used for seamless ussd transactions for months, it's telling me it is wrong and now they have restricted my account. Ok, let me reset it.... to reset it they need my mom's name which i gave and yet it's wrong, so what should I do? The ussd too is sickening, you do a transaction barely 10k and they tell you limit... what is really going on here !?

I just changed my phone and downloaded the app on my new phone but when I tried to register the device it shows I have reached the maximum limit of 3 phone. İt's okay though but saying that I most use my primary phone to release some devices is quite annoying.. where should I find the phone I used almost 6yrs ago.. I think this feature is ridiculous. İt should be reviewed with immediate effect especially for those living diaspora..

I have been trying to delete some beneficiaries but it won't delete. Why is it so? I even updated the app to the latest version but it won't delete. It keeps telling me beneficiary does not exist while the beneficiary is still in the beneficiary list. Moreover, I have also tried to connect my account with a soft token but it won't connect. I have even gone to my branch but they couldn't solve the problem. Am so much disappointed with First Bank

Best mobile app ever, if you haven't open first bank account you're missing something huge, easy transaction, no delay or network problem and there customer service is perfect. If you have any problem with your account, trust me in just two to three days. The problem will be resolved, and their maintenance fee is cheap, not those banks that charge N50 maintenance fee. Open the first bank account now! and thank me later. Trust me, you will never regret it.

This is purely annoying for delaying the OTP to validate transaction, which supposed to be sent instantly. It will not be sent until the app will time out and that is the end of the transaction. Why having the app on my phone if this is not rectified in time. It is a problem that renders this app useless for new users.

Everything seems to work fine except that the UI is not so good. I can't retrieve my account number from the app if I want to make a transaction. I always have to note my account number somewhere. Not good for me. Please add more features to the app and make it more modern. It has been this way for years. No major improvements.

Immediately after updating the app, all transaction colours in the transaction history are turned red,both credits and debits. A fast scroll to confirm/reconfirm a (credit) transaction is unnecessarily made difficult. A flash of green was easy to spot. That colour change is on the downside in my own "user experience".

The receipt ia very beautiful and good, nice one for that, but the only issue i see is the transaction showing red both for debit and credit which i think it should be differentiated by another colour just like before showing green please help us work on that. another thing i would like to see is the ability to hide ur balance unless you want to reveal it. The app is really awful, all these ads on the app are irrelevant and should be expunged. I have been trying to get my statement of account from the app for about an hour without any luck. The app only shows last 20 transactions and when you select the date you want and click apply, the feature doesn't work... First Bank pls assist your customers to have seamless transactions 😔

Credit and debit don't need to be red althrough. It should be differentiated with colours.It's not necessary that the statement is showing firstmobile transactions and all. It is better showing all... what we need on the statement is for it to show as many as without limiting the transactions to the last 20. I noticed that you can't generate statements and send it to email like before. RECEIPTS: It's beautiful and okay. Regards.

App is becoming very terrible and unstable. Can't login at all. Always displaying network display failed error. You guys should upgrade your technology. The app is terrible. After several tries, still having issues. What exactly do they have as a tech team if they cant give customers smooth experience. A big shame! If playstore could give a zero rating, I think this app deserves a zero rating.

This App can cost you a whole lot of money because it does not work right. I made a transfer that failed and I cancelled it. Repeated the same transfer and it failed again. But my account was debited. When I logged-off and logged back in the amount was credited. I gess that's the "Naija effect". First Bank can't get an App that serves their customers well.
