More About First Strike: Classic

Millions of commanders already played First Strike all over the world. Now it is back as First Strike: Classic: The complete rebuild of the iconic strategy game about blowing up the world in the nuclear armageddon. This remaster is more stable, more cunning in its enemies and the best First Strike we ever made.
====================

Escalation is a downward spiral.

A nuclear armageddon is no one’s dream scenario. So choose your steps carefully, it’s a small path between war and peace. FIRST STRIKE is a great strategy simulation featuring snappy gameplay and an intuitive interface that makes dropping the big one as easy as ABC. But be sure to take the right measures to guarantee your people’s safety.

Pick one of the big nuclear players – from known Superpowers to an upstart hellraiser like North Korea – and plan your strategy wisely: Limited but clever options let you as the leader of your superpower steer your nation’s fate: Expand to other countries, build bombs or debuild in order to restructure your arsenal. Or use research to widen your options, such as: Ability to act quicker and build bigger bombs, better recon on your enemies actions, automated self-defense-sequences and many more.

Whether you’re a bloodthirsty warmonger or a tree-hugging hippie – it’s time to put your cards on the table. A quick and fun game with beautiful graphics, FIRST STRIKE shows you how little it takes to heat things up. With the tip of your finger you can control the destiny of the precious and vulnerable rock floating through space, the rock we call mothership Earth.

Great game, difficult to manage manufacturing & defending. Nice amount of civilisations, great abilities & design. Worth a try and buy, a steal at the current price. Would be great with simplified building & defending, however it does add an edge to the game. I think it would be great to highlight your own nation at all times, found it hard to see where I had control without the reveal. Couldn't look away while playing!

I originally purchased this game and it was enjoyable, since the update I don't care for it, the treaties don't last long at all and in most cases can't be reestablished. I also notice that the game declares a winner before it's completely done. I still had some enemy territory to defeat and the game ended suddenly declaring me the winner, that's no fun

Although this isn't a multiplayer game (which I know a multiplayer version is coming out one day) it is a really cool and fun game to play, there are missions and harder modes as you keep playing wich make this game truly fun and interesting, plus the cool type of super powers you can unlock, also the graphics are great and interface is really smooth and make this a unique game to play, cant wait for the multiplayer version to come out!

On my Samsung Galaxy 9 it keeps on deleting the save data it will not save any of the data and anytime I get down to one country to go until I actually destroy them all I cannot unite my countries together because of that one country but the game freezes up because some odd reason they will not let me attack the last one to win the game. I do enjoy this game a lot but wasting a whole bunch of time not to win.

Really fun and interesting game. Keeps you engrossed for quite a while. And if you get good at the game, you can always challenge yourself with the hardcore mode, which takes some time to even get the hang of. Really enjoyed the Dynamics of the game, to the point that I paid to buy the premium version. The only improvement I can think of, is that the globe can be made a little bit more visible during the night phase, since it is almost impossible to see anything in the darkness

Buggy, reloading a save never works, occasionally you can't move around forcing you to close the app and lose all your progress because the save doesn't work, allies will attack you, they are still your allies afterwards , I hate the fact I still have to unlock countries and superweapons, and some regions are too small, while others are way too big. ALSO THE GAME FREEZES AFTER YOU WIN?! After 6 mins a peace offer was rejected, 500 charcter isn't enough to list all the bugs. AND 2 LATE 4 REFUND

It isn't a completely bad game, don't get me wrong. It can be fun, but it's just ruined by the developer. This game is abandoned for the F2P version, it won't be getting any new content, and is very very overpriced. With how much the game costs you can get one of the ported Total war games or CoH. Tldr; Not worth the price for the gameplay, and it will not be updated.

Had to delete the free version to get this to install (Samsung S10+) Great idea & graphics and controls (except for on the poles) so great fun when it is working. Still learning how to play and fund the pace a little fast. Big downside - the load/save game doesn't seem to work. It's a 4 or 5 star game without this glitch and I am happy to pay to play without ads.

Hard core mode should be able to be activated with less number of enemies. Between 8-10 is too high when it doesn't take long to unlock all the super powers and there isn't a reward for winning with each on hardcore. Looking forward to some improvements.

This game is unplayable in 2022. Iran is impossible on hardcore with JUST 8 countries alone. I can't imagine it with 10 countries. The game is unbeatable because of this one country atleast. The devs really screwed up something along the way, I remember it used to be beatable but no way bro not in 2022. Absolutely ruined, uninstalled the game I thought would stay forever, and won't be going to the new free updated one.

The game is like no other, but there's some issues, such as when other countries use First Strike(launching all missiles) the game lags a little bit, this makes it hard to defend or simply click any country, also the game randomly lags which is kinda annoying as it removes the buttery smooth experience but other than that the game is pretty good and I recommend everyone to play it.

Simply amazing, but lacked some more stuff to do if you unlocked pretty much everything or 90 percent of it. Don't get me wrong, AMAZING RTS game and basically my favorite, but could use more updates, maybe multiplayer, as well as more governments or gamemodes. You could add so much to this, and it's crazy. This game is awesome, and the funnest game I have ever played and I really wish there was more to it.

The game per se is good, but the bugs are game-breaking... :/. - continue game button in main menu is broken - sometimes the UI just stops reacting, and the game has to be closed, but then u cant continue after because the continue button doesn't work :p This makes the game unplayable at the moment, if not for these bugs, I'd defect definitely give it at least 4*.

This game is pretty amazing and I love you play it. However there are a few glaring issues that irritate me to the max. For one, there seems to be a 50/50 chance that none of the other countries appear when I tap diplomacy and it seems more likely with more countries. Another problem I have is that there's a high chance that if I exit the game in the middle of a game and come back to it later my progress on that game is gone. my only other issue is I wish there was a cloud backup option.

Love the concept. Work the bugs out and you can have your 5 stars. The first game I beat I could not actually get the win. I owned every country on the entire globe. All other powers were shown as dead and it's just a never ending game. There also seem to be some graphical errors. Very hard to tell who owns which plots of land. Also there should be an easier way of having countries build missiles. The current setup is great at the beginning. But once you expand out there is no way to keep up with it all. Maybe that's intended as part of the game.

The game is fun and is easy to understand, but they are some frustrating issues. For example: exiting a game, which should save, only to find that the option to continue said save is gone, pressing "continue saved game" only for the game not to load, and winning a game, but not winning. To elaborate, when all other countries have been defeated, a game summary screen should appear, which will then count your win. Frequently, however, that screen doesn't appear and your work is for nothing.

There aren't many nuclear war simulators out there, but this one hits the nailnl right on the head. It's easy to learn, fun to play, and has plentiful amounts of destruction. The only issue I have with the game is the lack of content. It is at a fair price of $1.00, but still, it doesn't have enough super weapons nor does it have enough content overall to keep me occupied for a while. I will love this game, but I just wish for the game to be updated often and have content added maybe once a month, just so I have something to keep playing for.

Okay, so I baught the premium version of this game because at the time of playing the game I was practically addicted. When I got final hour which I was expecting all types of new weapons and Kazistan (sorry if I butchered the name) but I just found out I just paid a dollar to have my progress reset. From that point on I completely lost intrest in the game, stopped playing, forgot I still had it installed, and just happened to see it when I needed some extra space for a different game.

Really fun game, but freezes randomly and sometimes when i was playing, the land I expand have no missle bases, the only thing that land can do is to expand to other lands. Sometimes the whole continent becomes that. But the main reason for this rate is that today Google updated this game as the classic one, but what I bought and played is final hour, so this update replaces my final hour with the classics one. I've already unlocked almost all content, now all of my progress is lost.

Galaxy S22 Ultra: Currently unplayable as it crashes after loading starting/loading a game. Worked for a short time after upgrading to this phone but it has suddenly stopped; I see a majority of the other S22 reviews are similar if not the same. Galaxy S10+: Fun time killer, super addicting! Gameplay is smooth and feels balanced. Controls are easy and manageable. Definitely recommend.
