I really wanted to like this app, but I just can't. It's clunky. It reminds me of being on AOL back in the day. Also, another major flaw.. I am but a simple lady, all I want a smooth app where I can shop and I need specs to be correct so I don't have to keep double checking. Your specs for your computers and laptops are a disaster. Is it a touchscreen? Description says - yes! Specs say - no! Then I have to go somewhere else, and when I get back to your app, it takes me to the homescreen. Bad.

Fingerhut is absolutely amazing! I have only ever had positive experiences with them. They have consistently given me credit raises due to having 100% on time payments. I will never be late on my payments. I value their trust due to the incredibly nice credit increases! I had to return 2 different defective tablets (manufacturer's fault, not Fingerhut) and it was the smoothest experience. I sent it back, waited, then received the credit about a week later. I highly recommend this company!!

It's really great for rebuilding credit. However, you MUST pay attention to sales, brands, and shipping charges. The shipping charges are OUTRAGEOUS, and then they don't back up what they sell, so if you buy garbage you will get garbage and more than likely it will be broken in no time with resources to fix the issue!! I always wait until they have a free shipping period as well as at least some kind of sale from 40% to 20% off and free shipping.

Echoing what has pretty much already been stated, the new app isn't user friendly. Stays stuck on the home page. I have to access the site through my electronic statement. Also, not happy with two separate Fingerhut options it's a waste of time. I had to look for the original Fingerhut site in order to access and make payments. If I hadn't stopped to read it, I could've assumed I didn't owe anything. Just an unnecessary and unwanted change in my opinion.

I enjoy being able to use the app. It makes it easy to go in make a payment and it only takes a few minutes. This way I the payment is received and not lost in the mail. Which recently happened to me with my water bill payment. I mailed and it really did get lost in the mail system. Took postal service 3 months to finally get it delivered. So I definitely recommend using the app to make your payments for piece of mind if nothing else.

I love Fingerhut for the shopping, and for the products, but I got this card mainly to build my credit. It advertises that it's for credit building, but when my fresh start account dropped and it became an actual Fingerhut credit line, my credit score dropped 79 points!! It's the lowest it's been in a long time and I've been working really hard for a year-and-a-half to get it to over 600. We'll see how it is overtime, but I wasn't very happy about that.

Honestly, can't give 3 stars. I've been using them for over 5 years, and the ui has hardly changed. Trying to search for an item will lead you to items that don't even have the same keywords. You still can't click on an item then hit the back button as it takes you back to the home screen and you lose your spot. Obviously prices will be higher due to this helps you build your credit, but you would think with the profit they make of making items 3x more expensive, they'd fix the app issues.

Pretty good for building credit if you have bad or no credit. The prices are almost double retail and with the monthly interest added each month(not included in the total price) it's like paying 3 times the amount for an item. I bought a t.v. which was $704 on fingerhut originally which at walmart the same tv was $368. But what I wasn't told was the $704 didn't include interest so you end up paying over $1100 at the end of your payments. That is over 3 times what the tv is worth.

Edited review: 12/05/2020 Still not user friendly. One of the worst apps I've experienced in years. Navigation is a major inconvenience, might as well just get the catalog as it has better info and is easier to navigate than the app. Cannot seem to get to my wishlist on the app. Was having issues with the back button but seems that problem has been addressed.

Got to be honest here. Got the card not knowing it was a specific website credit "card" but was pleasantly surprised when it had some decent stuff in the store. However the app UI is awful to use. Hit the back button and it takes a second, then goes to the main page, not ONE page back. Have the hit "shop" button and go through the menus again. This app needs a complete redesign.

I enjoy Fingerhut because if you can't afford to outright pay for an item you can buy it on credit. through Fingerhut and pay for it over time with a payment that is affordable and where the price is slightly higher than if you paid for it outright the increase is acceptable and fair for the convenience of paying for your item/items on credit and small payments over time. Thank you !

quick and easy means to paying my Fingerhut credit account. literally just downloaded the app and immediately after logining in, it took me to the payment options for my account. I added several payment options that I know I use often and then made my payment. I like how it gives you the option to pay more than the minimum amount. I was able to do that by selecting other in the amount section before making my payment.

I haven't been able to use the app. I log in and immediately get a white screen. Can't do anything beyond that. I have tried clearing the cache, force stopping, nothing fixes it. Update on 1/25/24: I have figured out what is causing the white screen. A note for your programmers/developers. If you are using the Fingerprint option to login, this causes the white screen. Once you disable this and login by typing in the username and password you can get access to the app content.

A very easy sign in process followed by a good ordering process, simple, stress free process... sometimes the process is reliable... from start to finish in under a few minutes. When I'm rushed with LIFE but I need to place an order I love the easy transition of this website without having to keep entering all my info over and over because I'm not recognized etc... is a pleasant experience and keeps me coming back! Over and over, again!!!

My wife bought a purse on here that was $87 at $9.99 a month. They have officially stolen over $300 from her in "late" fees alone. I did the math, and she would have had that purse fully paid off in just under 9 months! After I fully pay off my account, I will most likely cancel my account, and yes, I will be watching my account very closely. You can't trust fingerhut! If you are ONE day late, they add on massive interest fees!

Pretty much a complete rip off. Everything is over priced. Interest rates are high. I returned an item. It got stolen while it was being shipped back. According to the tracking #s it was picked up by an agent. But after that there was no updates after that. I called them. They acted like they couldn't see the tracking #s. Told me to send a affidavit. I sent it in and they still didn't credit me back on a item that I was returning and that had gotten stolen in shipping!

UPDATED: finally works! 6/4/24... I like Fingerhut, but the app is garbage. I tried to open it and only get a white blank page. Nothing loads... it's worked maybe a fourth of the time I've needed it to. I have to get on my browser on my phone to look at anything... very inconvenient and annoying. Fix this issue and I'll change the rating. When it did work, it was fine. No lag or anything, so not sure what the problem could be... & no it doesn't need an update, I've already looked.
