I'm not sure if it is a bug, but for me, its "optimised" tracker consumes way too much battery. To be more specific for Samsung S23U on recent trip just over the course of an hour or two it consumed 7% when it wasn't opened a single time (tracker in the beginning of the trip was set to balanced). For the perspective, it is a similar amount to whatsapp consumption, except whatsapp was actively used to make video calls this time. Can't put a positive mark if it is like that.

A little complicated to use but nice to have all in one spot, especially about sharing the link with people without having to download app.

Seems to work well, a great way to record your travels and share with others.

Loving the app! Started a bit late into my trip but have been able to back date the foot prints so that wasn't a problem. It's super easy to use and share with family and friends, and they enjoy the blog style format. Much prefer this over social media, and cuts down on all the photos and messages to family and friends in various chats.

Three days into my first trip and it is working great. I am still navigating all the features but the ones I have used so far work perfectly!

Tracking a trip is great. It's a shame it's not possible to really modify the travel book, but copying to a real travel book software is still reasonable easy.

So far, I have worked out how to add places I have been. I have also created some upcoming trip where I will play with footnotes and adding pictures. But adding to a bucket list fails me and is not easy to navigate the 'how to', I mean, how do you do that?

A friend recommended this app, so I thought I would give it a try. It is very intuitive and easy to use. So far, so good! I'm looking forward to seeing how the book will look when our trip is complete!

Briliant little app. Easy, intuitive user interface. Looks very slick. It even allows me to add my Relive videos as a URL. Love it.

Essential travel app to showcase your routes on map and keep description, comments and photos. There is a problem with web browsers and WebGL2 in Linux and can only work by disabling Hardware Acceleration on browsers. I changed this review after contacting support team that was very responsive and willing to trace the problem. Finally i found the mentioned workaround.

I'm committed! Easy to navigate. Great tools to help record waypoints. Adding pics and videos is a plus. Been using it for a couple weeks now, all on the same trip but separate stops.

I wanted an App to record a description and photgraphs of multi-day long distance hiking journeys. This does all this perfectly & splendidly positions photographs on the map. I have had no problems with the App. When my device is confused about my location e.g. in a deep valley or in a tunnel, it attaches an incorrect position to a photograph. Penguins provides an excellent facility to alter the location of these photographs & thereby correct my route. Friends love the App title Penguins.

Nice idea. Starting and ending trip is confusing, adding pictures is confusing, the app is not intuitive and the navigation menu is not clear. Please add the option to "end the trip" as it is confusing and unclear how to end it. (Words "start" and "end" the trip would be beneficial). It it is hard to know at which point this is tracking and where it is not. I'll bump the rating upon the improvement.thanks

Easy to use and creates such a great memento if you order the book. We did an 8 week road trip across the US and I love the way the book turned out. If you order the book, the photo organizer isn't very intuitive and a little clunky to use, but great results if you work through it a bit.

The app works good so far lets me log the things I want during my travel. A couple of suggestions though 1. Selecting images is painful. Change the gallery layout for it to make sense. order the camera folder at the top. 2. increase the tap target while selecting images from the gallery. hard to exactly click inside the checkbox 3. Keep the gallery organized essential for the travel app. People take a lot of pictures when they travel.

I used this app at least once a day for 15 months in 21 countries across 4 continents to document a once in a lifetime journey. It is very simple to use, both on- and off-line. One of my favorite features is the tracking and resulting map, which you can turn off. The premium price has almost doubled since last year, so I won't renew; however, the free 6 photos and 1 video suits my needs now. I also had books printed, which were spectacular but pricey for that long of a trip.

One of my most fav apps ever. I track EVERYTHING. From going out on dates, road trips, vacations etc. I just moved from the east coast to the west coast and it's really helped me with learning the area. I'll track where I go and then look back at it and get a visual. I feel safe when I go out on dates that it tracks where I go (you never know what can happen and who to really trust) By far one of the best apps -- and I've been a cellular expert for over 20 years.

A very user friendly and straight forward app that includes creating breadcrumb trails, sharing your fav pics and vids, highlight comments, and you can create a book of your trip using your uploads. Best of all, the app is free! I'm sure there's more, but that's just what I found on my first 'trip' post.

I would have given the app a 5 except for the difficulty I had figuring out how to allow people to see my posts. A friend finally sent me info, and once I realized that I have to go into the "Close Friends" section and hit "Add" after each person was accepted to follow me, my anxiety level went down and all of my followers were onboard to view my footprints. It's a great app and we are thoroughly enjoying it!

This was the app I was looking for. I wanted to keep a travel log of the places I have visited. This is the perfect app for that. Once I figured out how to add the footprints, updating the stops I had made. Very easy to use. Best part it's free. You do have the option to order a book based on what you submitted to your trip.
